I've been coming here since childhood and it's always been my go to, friendly neighbourhood grocery store. They always have what I need.

Terrible customer service.
1. I don’t usually shop here, visited the store only to buy the Pasta on sale for $1. An old guy named RON (heard someone calling him) was rude and treated me in a very disrespectful way when I was searching for the item.

2. The old lady cashier doesn’t even know how to deal with customers. I noticed that the only two things came from her mouth was the question about the points card and about the receipt. No hai, hello or thank you to anyone.

Start treating customers more friendly and learn that a customer is always a customer regardless of the number of items they buy!

I really like this store, very clean and neat. Small, yet it sell cooked foods and mixed salads. Definitely a good local grocery store

A bit pricey, but pretty good for a small neighbourhood grocery store. I'd like to see more vegan options though.

Produce ALWAYS rotten in the middle, despite picking the only non-rotted appearing fruits AND vegetables (cabbage, mangos, peaches filled with mold etc). I have seen products MONTHS off date on shelves.

Absolute WORST prices (despite previously being called ValuMart.the irony; items up to 3$ marked up from pricing at other grocery stores.

Employees are super nice, kind people, who are most definitely understaffed and underpaid, just trying to do the best with what they are given.

Flyer items and prices NEVER match up: ALWAYS check your bill.

Honestly? Better yet, don't go at ALL. Go literally ANYWHERE else, truly.

Truly disappointing: I've encountered some challenges with the service at this grocery store. I've noticed that some of the employees, both younger and older, exhibit a (very rude and disrespectful) “less-than-friendly attitude”. Their behavior comes across as disrespectful and lacks the basic courtesy one would expect in a customer service environment. In particular, the cashiers' demeanor has been consistently impolite, and their non-verbal expressions can be off-putting. This level of unprofessionalism is concerning.

Additionally, I've experienced instances where I felt my appearance was unfairly judged and misconstrued, which is not only uncomfortable but also unacceptable. It's important that individuals are treated as unique and valued customers, regardless of their skin tone or appearance. It's disappointing to encounter any form of racism or bias in this day and age, and I hope the store management takes these concerns seriously to ensure a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all customers.

Good place to shop if you just need a few things to get by. You should check the date on their milk though. I've had three bags go bad before I got to the last sack.

Literally every single time I’ve been there and gotten groceries, something is expired. Applesauce expired October and flavoured carbonated water April. It’s actually horrible how often this happens.

The staff that was putting out the chicken was very nasty he followed us around the store as if we were thieves.
I would NEVER shop at that store again.

Went on a Sunday morning, the nice girl working bakery was very kind and made sure I had everything I needed. Very supportive and helpful! Give this young girl more recognition.

Products are way over priced and there aren't a lot of premade meal options
I had to ask the cashier four times for a bag while at checkout as she kept ignoring on.

Funny how this store rebranded to “value” independent grocer alluring to community and all that but taxes you like it is whole foods, $3 for a single avocado!? Seen multiple steaks that turned grey and its true about the certain staff following people around.
