At 4/5 star it’s the best service you will get in Toronto. If you’re okay with waiting in line for a little over 30 minutes this place is a must for breakfast.

I think it’s ok to say that it wasn’t my favorite smoked salmon benny nor did I think the Belgian waffles. I found the ridges of the waffles over cooked. The ambience was moody which I get but a bit too dark. But overall it was good.

On the other hand the service was amazing and super attentive.

Line up was about 25 minutes during peak time.

We were visiting Toronto for a few days and decided to eat here for breakfast on our first morning. The food was so good we came back the next day without hesitation. Everything we had was exceptional. The cured salmon was fantastic as was the waffle that came alongside it. On our second visit my wife had the Croque Monsieur and I had French Toast. Both were amazing and my eggs were cooked perfectly each time which should be expected of a breakfast restaurant but lately many have fallen short of this standard.

Really fun atmosphere. They had the walking dead playing on the screen and Mariah Carey playing on theb speakers loved it definitely a fun Vibe. The bar tender was super nice

It’s always interesting coming back to a place you worked almost a decade ago. No familiar faces, no pre-Covid regulars, but the same fast-paced, friendly outlook from the front of house and kitchen, bustling always, and still the best Hollandaise in the City.

Really disappointed considering how hyped this place was and how busy it seemed. High prices, low amount of food, cold food, poor attention to detail from the server. I can't say I'll be back.

Lovely brunch spot with eclectic décor and simple, unpretentious fare. Very reasonably priced for downtown Toronto.

Worst experience I ever had!

I was arriving here at 11: 10 and waiting for my food for almost 1 hour. All the tables come after us either were having the foods or almost finished them while we are still waiting.

We were actively checking with the order but the waitress kept telling us to wait. After waiting for like 40 min, we checked again with another server, a white man. He said he’d go check but he barely did anything and just come by and said “it’s coming”. He was not even looking at us while saying that, super rude and walked away right away. For the first time after 2 years living in Canada, I feel like I was being racial discriminated.

We left at 12: 05. We didn’t have the chance to have the food since my friend’s train back to Ottawa leaving soon and we don’t have the pleasure to wait any longer.

Hope the foods are worth it for the discrimination you might experience when going here.

Everything I expected from a lowkey breakfast restaurant. You get that local vibe from it. Went there for Misch Misch birthday breakfast.first the pros, loved the vibe and static of the place, the food was really amazing, tasted really good, I got the smoke salmon bennies and Misch got the hungry gal. The coffee was also good, definitely a diner coffee. Now why I took one star away, the place was too dark for my taste, specially for a breakfast restaurant I kinda want lots of light. Now it’s hard for them to get natural light as they face north but I think afew more ceiling lights would be just fine. The server was also friendly dude and he did check up on us which was great, but as far as rating, I give 5 stars to a server that goes an extra mile to make a conversation with you and asks you about your day. Overall I really liked the place for east Sunday morning breakfast.

Always amazing food no matter what you try. So glad they are open again. One recommendation.please bring back The Hungry Gal to your menu! I would literally eat it everyday you’re open! No exaggeration lol. It’s the best breakfast I’ve had in the city!

Cute little breakfast/brunch spot! The waffles benny was perfect because I didn't have to choose between sweet or savoury. The quality and taste of the food is great, but portions were definitely a little smaller. Overall a good place to stop by with friends if you're near union station!

Whenever I have passed by this place in the morning or near brunch time, there is always a line-up. Apparently, they are known for the Belgian waffles among other things. Luckily, I went in the late afternoon when there was no line-up and of course, I had to try their Belgian waffle. It was light and fluffy and tasted as delicious as it looked (see the attached irresistible-looking waffle photo). It's a cozy dimly lit place with a busy buzz and a laid back vibe. But just a quick note, it's kind of got an open kitchen so when you leave the place, you kind of smell like a bit of kitchen, something that happens at other restaurants too that have this kind of set-up.so don't wear your hard-to-wash outfits/jackets. Other than that, the food is great, the staff are really super nice, and would totally recommend that you try it!

Thos place has the best breakfast in Toronto. One word of caution: seating is limited and it often lines up.

We really enjoyed our brunch on the sidewalk, food was great, friendly service, will definitely come back to support them during pandemic.

Just dropped in unexpectedly and was pleasantly surprised. The food is good and we didn't have to wait long for our food to get to the table!

Our first ‘sidewalk’ brunch experience a couple days ago - scrumptious waffles Benny (pea meal bacon and apple slaw, Challah on the side) - best in the city. What a treat!

My favourite brunch spot in the city! We've been going to this place for several years now. The only place I have gone to that serves Brussels style waffles. If you're expecting the typical Belgian style thicker waffle, this is not it. In my opinion, these are way better! The overall interior gives an old diner feel. It's pretty small so it's best to avoid high times. I'd recommend your best bet is to go when it opens to avoid lines, particularly on the weekends. I've seen people lining up outside in -10 degree weather
