I had excellent customer service. We will keep buying Phillips products as they have always given us above and beyond service.

Had difficulty in finding anyone within their service team that would assist. Went through Socials to find a direct contact and reached out to them for assistance who then pointed me in the right direction. Not the best service team through the help lines or through their chat. Needs to be overhauled.

Don’t buy anything from them. The customer support staff are terrible and unhelpful. The staff named Apolo was especially useless and bad. He even refused to pass the phone to his supervisor.

I give it one star because its needs at least one to be able to post. The bad customer service is because they are sending all call overseas, In this case I think the Phillpines, which is often the case these days - because its cheaper for them. It looks like they are giving customer support but the staff is (well obviously far removed) and very poorly trained. This type of situation is becoming an epidemic - as is customer service in general. Bad customer service is no customer service at all - Its call lip service. Shame on them for treating customers this way.

It is insulting to us, for them to think that just by putting a cheaply paid and poorly trained person at the other end of the line will make us believe its good customer service. They will obviously get away with it for awhile, but society is picking on this deceitful ploy they are trying to call customer service.

I just bought a toothbrush-DiamondClean because it was on sale, its not even out of the box yet, so I decided before I do to call about some details - sure enough it went overseas - the phone support even lies about it - first by stalling when asked where they are located - I think because they are beginning to realize people are not happy with the situation. Already I am thinking I will return it.

I rarely write a review and I surmised this incident merits one.found a better price at walmart canada and i called for price match.i just bought the product an hour before and further resesarch showed same product offered from Philips $64.95 to Walmart at $54.96.i was told to
1) wait for product to arrive, (3-5 business days)
2) request for a return label. (unsure number of days) *
3) wait for the return label to come (*)
4) send it back to warehouse (*)
5) wait for confirmation of product return (*)
6) wait for reply from customer service (*)
7) If reply is commensurate to refund (*) +3-4 weeks for refund to happen

No wonder all I can see upfront are 1 star rating. I guess they are waiting to get off No 1

My girlfriend ordered some light bulbs and accessories online, on the 11th of June. Still not shipped. No information besides silly apologies. How is a company with this image, this bad? Not even a support page for Canada. You must got through USA. *Sigh*

Horrible support, seems they will do anything to get out of honoring a warranty. Sat on the phone twice for 30 mins to go through the exact same diagnostics. Then they are supposed to send me a warranty email for validation. I didn't receive the email as they neglected to send it. I will be on my third phone call to try to warranty my tv which is only 11 months old and won't turn on.

Update. Well I finally got back in touch with them. Now they are telling me that my tv is out of warranty because it is a resold tv. They claim that Walmart sold it to someone else then returned it and sold it to me. Well the packaging had no sign of this, it was brand new, so Philips has wiped their hands clean. Walmart was not to impressed.

The worst customer service & extremely rude. Philips doesn't care about their customers at all. As soon as your TV is over a year old they push a "recommended update" on you that will render your tv useless & stuck in constant bootloop. All I want is the firmware that was previously working fine before they forced me to update my TV & made it garbage. Don't ever buy a Philips TV. I would definitely not recommend Philips to anyone & I will never buy one of their products again. They will not help me because my TV is 15 months old now. Ridiculous and scammers. Such shady business practices. I only gave them 1 star because I had to in order to leave a review, but if possible I would definitely rate them at about a -10

I would give a zero star if possible. Company has left thousands of customers without any support on needed medical equipment. There is no support at all and all calls are forwarded to the US. There is not Philips Canada! I am sure you will see a "very helpful" response to this review but it will be empty of any actual action.

Tried to reach them numerous times today on their free 1-800 number given for Canadian customers, and after a sometime long wait, as soon as I can speak to someone, the line cuts off. My telephone works perfectly well so the problem rests with them. On their web site, impossible to send a written message. They just don't want to hear about their client. Buy our products but don't bother us if you have problems!

Brilliant suggestions by customer service!

Buy a new TV every year when the software update fails!

I got a smart TV less than a year ago. TV prompted software updates. After the update tv doesn't go beyond the logo screen.

Called the contact center who gave the number for an authorized repair shop. The authorized shop doesn't even have parts for the TV.

New suggestion by the contact center in this case:
Buy a new TV

Never go out of my way to write bad reviews. But I wish I could give them a -1 star. Purchased a philips 50 inch tv exactly one year ago. The tv prompted me to download a software update which I did and now it’s stuck on the philips logo on loop. All customer service keeps on saying is bring it to our facility all the way in AJAX. I’m in downtown Toronto. Am I supposed to bring this tv in the ttc? Or uber. They also say warranty has run out. How is it my fault that your tv asked to install and update and stopped working after that. Do not waste your money as they are scamming customers by selling a tv that is not at all SMART

I bought a Philips XL air fryer for someone as a gift. The product works great, but there is no way to change from fahrenheit to Celsius. My old Philips air fryer had the option to change to Celsius.

If this company wants to sell products in Canada or other metric-based countries, then they should take this simple preference into consideration.

The bad reviews are true. Practically impossible to get through to anyone. Representatives don't speak english and don't know where to transfer customers. I was trying to order a part for an electric shaver.

One of the worst brand all over the world. I purchased Multi cooker and need to replacement. I tried to ring them did not get proper response. I am waiting for the replacement product from April to till now. I don't think will get the product ever. I have a request to consumers avoid philips brand and save yourself from extra headache.
