The owner went above and beyond in customer service to give my family a great dining experience. Food is great. We drive out of our way to the Whitby location because we know the quality is superior and consistent.

Got the food door dashed, when it arrived the gravy was gelatinous, it looked closer to jello than actual gravy. There were also missing ingredients from my food. I have a this a couple times before and it was great until now. Very disappointing.

We had hamburgers and French fries! The portions were enormous and the service was excellent! Bring your appetites and enjoy.

The philly cheese steak was amazing! The quantity and price is unbeatable! The best sandwich and poutines I've had in a long time! Would recommend 10/10 to anyone looking for an authentic philly sandwich!

Hot and fresh, do your self a favour and don't order this for take-out best to order and eat in person as fries and sandwiches will get soggy from steam, just an issue all places have. Place was clean and tasty but found it pretty pricey $44 after tax for two medium Philly's medium poutine and 1 can of pop. Left completely stuffed and un able to finish poutine due to how filling everything was. Would recommend only negative thing I got to say is price wish they had a couple deals or something like 2 sandos 1 poutine and 2 pops for $30 would be a good deal and selling point. Dunham Region needed this amazing restaurant for all the meat lovers and putien freaks and amazing deserts the kicker is they are priced for a family to eat out.if you don't try it you are really missing OUT staff very friendly helpful and don't rush you so please check it out AMAZING

Dirty, run-down, disorganized, young staff that didn’t seem to care about their jobs, the food or switching back to English with customers around. At least call my order out so I can understand you’ve got it right

I have ordered from this location three times and I have dined in once and the employees are either rude, don’t follow my order or miss items.
Terrible location; I have been ordering the same sandwich for 3 years but I moved near this location and they disappoint me every time. They don’t want to resolve any issues. Never buying food here again. If I could I would give 0 stars

All food is fresh hot and delicious. Our go to item was not on Uber eats so I called them to ask if maybe it was under a different name whoever answered the phone was so pleasant and made sure we got exactly what we wanted delivered. Customer service is 5+

Called the resteraunt to order a pick up.

Was told they are not open to the public, and I had to get delivery.

Ordered delivery, driver delivered the wrong order. When I returned the wrong order, driver said it was the resteraunts mistake, I have to call them

Reteraunt said it was the driver who took the wrong order, my order was left behind. That they wouldn't deliver the food OR allow me to come pick it up.
They were happy to keep my money though.

Hard Pass if you want to get food out of these people.

Ordered from here today for the first time, read reviews before hand a bit worried to get it.no idea why there’s been 1 star reviews lately unless they just personally had a bad experience I chose to ignore them though.got the pulled pork sandwich and Philly cheese steak but instead with chicken and preferred toppings.by far the best sandwich place I’ve had, the pork is so juicy and flavourful (lots of people said the bread was soggy) it wasn’t “soggy” but because pulled pork tends to let out a lot of heat it did moisten the bread a bit (in its packaging I ordered off Uber eats) I Ithink it makes the bread softer which I like lol, but it was amazing either way. Will be coming back here everytime im craving a nice sandwich.

Worst food ever asked for Buffalo chicken and it arrived cold, bun was stale, and no Buffalo sauce. Chicken was dry and barly there.
It was awful. The three cheese melt chicken is in the garbage. Onion Rings were good, however ice cold like the rest of the meal.

Not great I guess the price is reasonable but they don't put enough meat and the flavor is just okay definitely not Philadelphia level fries are tasty

Decided to try this for the 1st time. Food was good but the portion sizes compared to the pricing aren't the best. The sandwiches were child sized.

Food was pretty good. Cake for dessert after was a total rip. $10.00+ for a slice that was about 1/3 the size it should have been, if that, for that price.

I visited this place yesterday. To begin with, the place has an amazing ambiance and the service was welcoming. This was my first visit to the place, as I was wondering what to order looking at that vast menu. The guy over there helped me out and asked my preferences and suggested me to take "THE BIG BOSS" which was outstanding.
P. S - Little pricey. But it's the same rate as every location.

Not worth the money. I got the Philly cheese steak. Chose the filthy size, which is the biggest you can choose. It was 3/4 the size of a sub from MrSub and it cost me $15. The meat hardly covered the bread. My onion rings were cold. First and last time I go here.

Not good anymore use to be amazing. I would say it taste like mr sub quality. Ordered two one for.me.one for my brother he refused to eat his because the guy did not wash his hands when before making them. I eat mine still no cheese veggies I skipped because they where not fresh. I wish I followed my brother's lead and just lose the money and give it to the garbage can.

Not to sure who handles the food for the Uber delivery’s but it was terrible! I never complain, but this was actually pathetic. My sandwich was missing all the toppings I had chosen, such as lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and mushrooms, plus the thing was small and soggy for $10.00, what a rip! Need to hire better night staff. Who ever is running night kitchen has no clue what they’re doing. I want to support local businesses over fast food chains, but if you can’t keep up with Uber then don’t even bother or close down shop earlier.

Staff is totally unprofessional. Last week i went to there. They were so rude and bad behaviour. Guys (man’s) be polite with customer. I will never go there again … disgusting place. Work on your attitude. I had no option that’s why i gave one star otherwise this place doesn’t deserve any star just because of those 2 idiots.

Awesome staff, super friendly every time I've been there. The turn-around is always fast too, so you're never waiting long. We always order the Poutine and Philly cheese steak, and we are always happy with the results. Lots of sauces to choose from for the sandwiches too. Definitely recommend this place.

The best place to go on a Tuesday or any other day for that matter! Their Tuesday special is plentiful and hardy for $ 5.00 along with their $ 5.00 Poutine are both out of this world and fill you to the brim. Mouth watering fresh food, great selection and portions, kind staff and fantastic prices. It's the place to be. Keep up the good work Philthy Philly's in Whitby.we love you!

Probably the worst poutine I have ever had. The gravy was basically coloured water. The cheese didn’t melt at all and it was like they added extra gravy to try and help with that.

Okay so it’s Friday. I’m hungry and can’t seem to convince myself to have a salad when I’ve been thinking of poutine all day. So I think, oh yeah! They’re a wicked poutinerie I haven’t gone to in a while. They’ve always had great poutine and amazing cheesesteak sandwiches and the staff there are just so amazing and make their customers feel so welcome. So bam, there I am at Philthy Phillys in Whitby and, thankfully, best experience so far. The team there is super patient, thoughtful, knowledgeable and suggested the most popular (and delicious) options and toppings and ohhhh wow I’m so impressed with everything that I just had to let anyone who read this know that this place is incredible. 5 star flavour, 5 star customer service, 5 star awesome staff.

UPDATED Review! I visited the Whitby location and ordered my favorite, Philly Cheesesteak, but the portion control this time was obviously less than normal. I posted my review about portion size.

Update: Owner contacted me directly, apologized for the experience, and credited me for the sandwich for next visit. I visited a few weeks later and ordered the same sandwich, portion was as expected, and sandwich was great, as it always is!

Location is little hard to get to, as you have to drive into a plaza then snake through a tight parking lot.
Once inside, the restaurant is clean and odorless. The only thing you smell is the food.
The server greeted with a smile and explained the menu. They recommended their special which was 5.00, so I bought two.
The food was cooked fresh and under 5-6 minutes. I will always wait for fresh food.
I ordered the Cheese steak and it was fantastic. I added the standard green peppers, onions and mushrooms. I found eating the 6 inch sandwich, plus half the 2nd sandwich to be just the perfect amount for me. Hence the 8 inch sandwich they currently offer.
The menu is vast and yet over whelming. Cheese and sauces options are quite a few. There are also lots of poutine choices to be had. The poutine is quite large and is a meal all on its own.

I highly recommend this Whitby location of Philthy Philly's to eat.

I ordered using Uber and requested a scheduled delivery. The order arrived on time but the food was not worth the time or money. The poutine arrived cold - stone cold. The club wrap had a ton of lettuce, barely any chicken or bacon, and no tomatoes. Also, when I took the wrap out of the bag it was so poorly wrapped - the entire sandwich unfolded. The Diet Coke that completed the combo was flat.
This was my first and last time ordering from this Whitby location. When I called the restaurant the person who answered didn’t even greet my call professionally. It was simply, “hello! ” I thought I had misdialed. All around unprofessional and should not be in business. Don’t waste your money.

This use to be my favorite place for steak sandwiches.the last 3 orders ive gotten have had barely any steak or toppings i even paid 5 dollars extra for more meat exact same amount really really disappointed i wont b ordering from here anymore!

They have badly messed up our order the past 2 times we went. Reached out to customer service and they just ignore you. Cross contamination with meat in the vegetarian poutine, stale buns, missing gravy and missing cheese on the poutine. They stopped putting any sauce on their feta fries even if you ask for it. We were regulars here. Done with this place.

Their fries are not fully cooked. We ordered a Giddy up and a Philthy size original poutine. That's what they charged us for but gave us a burger with some of the toppings missing and a regular size Original poutine. When my husband called they lied about the prices to make it look like total bill was right according to what we got. They just lost our business for good.

Just go to firehouse subs.

This location doesn’t represent the franchise well, the food is sub par in comparison to another location I have visited.

I would not recommend this location to anyone!

No meat no cheese! Save your money go elsewhere!

If you are a big fan of delicious food with large portions then this is the place to go! They have a unique size that will fill any hungry meat lovers. The sandwiches and poutine are amazing, try every poutine and challenge yourself.

It should be a crime to make poutine this bad. Ordered from UberEATS and this is how my food arrived. Extremely poor packaging. My bottle of Sprite was just tossed on top of this. The cheese curds were cold and nowhere near melted since there was hardly a single drop of gravy on the entire thing. I see pictures of delicious poutine and I can assure you that is not what you will get from this place. The pulled pork was just some dried up pork on a hotdog bun with hardly any sauce (even though I politely asked for lots of sauce). All in all it was an extremely dry meal. I ended up just putting ketchup and salt on the fries (because this doesn’t deserve to be called a poutine.) If they ran out of gravy or something then at least contact your customer and let them know don’t send a box of fries with some half frozen curds on top. Can’t believe I just spent $20 on such a poor excuse of a meal. Never again.

Just got here and they are not accepting Groupon anymore? I mean at least honor your coupons. Instead they have the "sorry take it up with Groupon" attitude. Horrible service

Portions significantly reduced! I visited the Whitby location and ordered my favorite, Philly Cheesesteak, regular size this time. The sandwich they gave me had about 3 tablespoons of meat on it, no joke! Sandwich was still good (hence 2 stars), but the portion control was exceptional and very disappointing. I do understand cost control measures, but better to increase the price than cut back on the meal. It's a no brainer.

My wife and i each purchased the Groupon deal on August 2 ($15 worth of food for $9) that was only valid at this location. Normally i would have not got it as i live in Markham, but since i was taking my family to jungle cat world yesterday (August 6), i thought we could use this to buy lunch on the way home. Rather than taking the 401 from Orono to Markham, we took Taunton Rd which takes 20 mins longer but we would pass the restaurant. As we approached the door, we saw a sign saying the Groupon was not being accepted and to contact Groupon for a refund. I cannot begin to describe the level of disappointment at that moment, especially considering we went out of our way to claim the deal. As we drove home empty handed, the disappointment only got worse. My daughter was in tears, my wife was in tears, and despite my best efforts to hold back, eventually i had to pull over to the side of the road and let it all out. I managed to regain my composure after about an hour and continued the drive home. We ended up having a vastly superior lunch at Subway, where we are guaranteed to Eat Fresh every visit. I think it goes without saying that i will never again patronize this or any other location of Philthy Philly's.

Wow! Just wow! Where has this place been all my life! I had a Philly steak sandwich. Everything about it was amazing from the bun, to the veggies to the meat. I will def be back again!

Had the philly cheese steak and It was good, my only concern was it could use more cheese. I will ask for more on my next visit.

Tried one of the poutine variations, was pretty good. Wwould have enjoyed it more if the sauce reached all the way to the bottom of the package, along with the toppings instead of just piled on-top. The sandwich size was disappoint though.

The service is excellent, prices are reasonable and food is fantastic for those who appreciate this kind of eatery experience.

Very good even coming through door dash still came hot and not soggy, cheesesteak and poutine was fire. All the bad reviews here seem like them problems, prices are slightly above average but worth it in my opinion. Good portions and I'm a fat guy so you can trust me.

This place makes the best sandwiches! Their poutine are amazing as well. I have bot had a bad experience here and I have been back many times! I get the Philthy size (Large) and sometimes I have to save some.

Our 1st time ordering and only because Chucks Roadhouse was only letting 10 people maximum in the restaurant and we were hungry.so glad we went in! It was really really good we will definitely be going there on purpose in the future

Best philly steak I've had in the city so far, they serve it made to order so it's hot and fresh, service was good, place was clean. Would definitely recommend.

The sandwhich was ok, however what left a bad taste in my mouth was the fact that their promotions are shady. I had a coupon to take 20 dollars off the price of a sandwhich, however, rather than taking the full coupon off the sandwhich, they applied it after tax. When I confronted the employee and owner, instead of taking ownership, they just blamed corporate.

I did not enjoy my sandwiches as a result and will not be doing business here again.

Not impressed with the business tactics of this business. I had a 20 dollar coupon off the price of a sandwhich, but they only applied the coupon after the tax.the tax is what is due the government and not belonging to the restaurant, therefore I did not get 20 dollars off my purchase. The sandwich was not half bad, however, how they handled the business transaction has left a bad taste in my mouth. I will not be visiting again.

I love eating here, food is so amazing, just don’t expect to look good well eating it. Only problem is the price, I can eat a lot so the philthy size is what I get, usually the big Texan or the pulled pork. Come to around 20 bucks but it’s worth the treat every week!

The slowest place I've ever ordered from. Been waiting for 25 minutes for a sandwich with one person in front of me the whole time. Food wasnt done as well as other Phithys and lacked flavour.

This place is great! It was quiet when I was there. We ordered a poutine, my wife says it's the best poutine she had had in awhile and she had been testing poutine she at many places. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking to have some great food at descent prices. The staff was friendly, Looked comfy to sit in Tokyo if you want to dine in restaurant.
