Pho 88 Restaurant

Got the special pho, grilled beef and pork, lychee jelly drink, and spring rolls. Everything was good, fast, good prices, etc.

The first picture was taken on August 3,2021 at the downtown toronto Bathurst location. I had the Sate pho broth multiple times in the past and this was what I got everytime. However, the second picture was the one that I received, with a very visibly different soup broth color, and did not taste like the classic sate broth that they made at all. I double confirmed with the waiter that this was indeed the sate broth that I ordered, so I was disappointed with either the change in recipe, or inconsistent food quality.

The food was not bad but one of the severe attitudes is very bad. I ask for the bill and he starts to annoyed with me. I saw the Uber driver come to pick me up, and he creamed at the Uber driver. What kind of service is it?

A bowl of heartwarming warm pho is like comfort food Simple and tasty, their special pho will definitely warm you up on a cold night and their portion size is very generous The barbeque pork was ok but the sauce served with it was perfect.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The food has always been good. We had the Spring Roll Platter, Shanghai Noodles and Thai Green Curry Chicken with Rice. The service was great and the food was prepared very quickly. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

Probably my favourite pho place. The sate option for pho is a bit pricy but well worth it! It’s so flavourful!

I picked up the small size. I paid almost 12 dollars. But an absurdly small amount came. They gave me the size of a child's palm. This is not worth it. This is not common sense. I am very dissatisfied. And when I called, they said yes. I will never go here again.

Always consistent service and taste. Highly recommend the assorted rolls platter, in addition to the pho obviously!

A roach crawled over my foot the last time i ate here.told the server and the best they could do was take the tax off.no apologies whatsoever.never returned since even if the food is good in my opinion.

The portions of the large pho was pretty big. Very good. The shrimp roll was also great. Good service and paying cash gets you 10% off.

Had a Ubereats takeout and did not disappoint! Food was tasty and came in with big portion. My only concern is the styrofoam takeout containers.

Food was decent, service was friendly. Located on a busy street with limited parking when its busy. Their spring rolls were quite good, I recommend you try them.

Ordered a large special pho and their chicken spring rolls.pho beef portion was small, noodle portion huge. Soup was.sketchy, so when I tried it on it's own it was.like heated up urine sprinkled with MSG.damn that's accurate.and their spring rolls were also too small

For a chain restaurant, Pho 88 is actually pretty good. I have eaten here and have gotten take out a few times over the years but it has gotten to the point where the ever increasing cost of the food has become a problem. The last I've ordered from here was through Uber Eats and my bowl of Pho (a large) came with very little meat and to add the satay sauce to the soup to make it spicy costed an additional $4. Although small portioned, the food is good; the price not so much.

The pho is very large in quantity; some restaurants offer large size soups that are considered small size at this restaurant. Broth has good flavour and offers multiple varying ingredients to match what a customer wants to eat at any given moment. Rice portions are smaller in comparison; I don't consider it worthwhile getting it when the pho is offered.

Flies, flies, and more flies! It's everywhere. It feels like your eating right beside a dumpster. I was constantly checking my food if there is any insect on it. Worst restaurant yet

Portions are large and the seating arrangement is nice. I've ordered Pho a few times and although the taste is usually consistant, the broth has been too salty at times. I like the option of white meat for chicken based pho. Friendly staff.

I got chicken pho soup. It taste pretty good. You can add hot sauce or soy sauce. The waitress was rude but can’t complain since they’re busy.

I got the Szechuan Beef but it doesn’t taste like the Szechuan chill, it just looks like sweet chill souse with some red souse, and I’m so disappointed on the mango salad I was thinking that it will more better than that

This is best Pho place in whole GTA i can swear to that. Their Tum yum is best in whole Toronto.i tried many pho restaurant and taste here is surprisingly great.i used to be frequent dining guy here but now i moved bit far from its location.although i still go here whenever i can.in addition, host here is very friendly and know me very well as i always go here.

It felt as though they compensate for bland food with spicy pepper, but the meat and noodles themselves are bland. The pho I got was like that and I asked to return, only to be told that the spice level may not suit me and I might just need a bit of coconut milk to make it better (it so did not!). It felt sort of like a waste of money.disappointed.:/

I doubt if this is a Vietnam restaurant at first, with the korean name tapes in the front windows and lots of different deco, Well I was just too worry, they are real Vietnamese restaurant! The pho pho pho is what you need to order! The small portion is way too much for a lady tho. Nice place to try

Spring rolls are very good. Pho broth and wonton soup broth is VERY salty. Nothing special. Wait staff is not rude, just inattentive.

The portion is as per usual, large, typical, Vietnamese pho places.
Great price for the quantity. The broth has flavour on it's own. I do recommend using the sauces supplied on the table to add some spice or sweetness to it.
There is a fair amount of meat in the serving.

The menu has other dishes too so if you just want some Vietnamese or Chinese food, they have 3 pages from which to choose from. Again, portions are big. So you better be hungry.

Wide selection of delicious Vietnamese food! Staff are friendly and very efficient. I come here at least once a week. I would definitely recommend Pho 88.

Absolutely disgusted by this place, i paid for beef pad thai and they gave me tofu, with exactly 2 pieces of beef.
The lady said that it was complementary tofu. I was confused as the menu did not state tofu was included.she proceeded to tell me that they keep the beef and tofu in the same container. Couldn't believe she was even telling me this to defend the actions of a lazy worker. Long story short they added the tofu (cheaper than the beef) to SCAM me as it was seasoned to look exactly like beef.

We tried for the first time just recently and it was surprisingly good. Feels great to have a decent restaurant nearby.
Try their vermicelli and grilled beef. The wonton soup is really good and their spring rolls are superb!

Ordered 3 rare beef pho but instead gave us house special pho. When we brought it up to their attention, they just lied and said thats how rare pho usually is. Was a very frequent customer here but this experience put me off. I don't think i will be coming back.

Got the beef and spring roll vermicelli here. Overall, it tasted okay and the ingredients were fresh, but couldn’t say it tasted great either. Especially the spring roll was not very good. Despite not having many guests at the time, they took abnormally long to prepare my take out order (twice the amount of time indicated by Ritual). Definitely many better viet restaurants out there, but unfortunately there is a lack of competition in the area.

Their food is not bad what was lacking was the customer service. I felt like she was doing me a favor taking my order. Will definitely not go back there

Hate to leave a bad review but the pho and service wasnt the greatest. The pho was bland, pretty much tasted like water and the pad thai was flavourless as well. The service was ok, not anything spectacular. Its just hard to find a waiter because they always disappear into the back or seat you to the far back of the restaurant and stand all the way at the front of it.would not recommend

Loved it! Uber eats; special pho & avocado milkshake, amazing! Better than I expected especially for delivery.definitely will order here again!

The pho was good. Service was kinda slow because they got busy. We were the first to order yet the last to receive our food amongst other 5 tables. Food was good, would go back just for the food. Service was decent. Did not have desert, just went for the pho.

The service is really fast here! The food is good but I ordered the shrimp pad Thai and didn't realize there was tofu in it and it hurt my stomach but still a good time

Food was mediocre in terms of authenticity. Ordered a rice and vermicelli dish along with a few milkshake beverages. Only enjoyed the avocado milkshake.
