PHO 99

We usually stop in here when we visit Ottawa, it is our go-to restaurant for Vietnamese food. We moved away from Ottawa and don’t have a lot of Asian food choices. We make a point to have lunch here when we can! The staff is very friendly and there is plenty of room.

Absolutely some of the best pho I’ve ever had. Amazing experience from entering until leaving. I got a very simple pho which was incredible. The summer rolls were also incredible.

Only issue was the Vietnamese iced coffee. Was too sweet and did not taste authentic

I recommend coming here on a cold Sunday afternoon when you feel a little bit depressed. I just loved something about the ambiance of the place, especially the fish tank.

Service was wonderful, and food was good. Loved the crispy shrimp rolls. Pho was good, but I can't help but feel like I've had slightly better pho for slightly cheaper at other places.

Gỏi cuốn and peanut sauce are very tasty. Phở and Bún Bò Huế are delicious as well. The broth is flavourful and tasty. Good customer service. Although, the sweet and sour sauce to eat with Bún Thịt Nướng dish was a bit bland and seemed to has been watered down.

I recommend Pho and Bánh Canh dish as well as Bún Bò. Will come back to try dessert:)

A little rundown, for sure, but these folks provide good pho at a reasonable price with prompt service. This has been my 'go to' pho restaurant for lunch for a number of years.

Had a wonderful time here. The pho was delicious and so was the combo platter for the rice rolls. The staff was friendly and helpful and I love jasmine tea

The service of the Waitress is 10/10 she’s always checking on us and always smiling. The food is also very good!

Ordered in on uber eats and got a large pho with rare beef and well done flank, and pork spring rolls.

Pork spring rolls were great, less dense filling than most places, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing.

The pho broth was pretty good, unfortunately I guess during delivery it cooled a little bit and wasn't quite hot enough to fully cook the rare beef, but that's more on the delivery than the restaurant itself. There was also more broth than could fit in the bowl with the toppings, so it makes me unsure if the large is just more broth with the same noodles & meat as a medium. Overall pretty good though.

Excellent service. The pho broth, noodles and meat were super tasty. Highly recommend. And would definitely come again!

Number 44 BBQ pork chop and rice is crazy good, Number 16 Beef pho is definitely one of the best phos I have had in Ottawa.

By far the best pho in ottawa. Service is great. Nice and clean inside. BUT THE PHO ITSELF IS FKN GOOOOOOOOD BRO. I would die for Pho 99.

Every time I order from Pho 99, the pho is always so flavorful. The beef is the perfect balance of meaty and fatty and the broth is rich and perfectly seasoned. I would recommend the pho to anyone looking for a tasty bowl of soup.

One of the few places that reliably serves a purely beef based Pho. Most other restaurants will mix in either pork or chicken bones. Also recently renovated. Would recommend Pho dac biet and the vietnamese iced coffee!

Amazing customer service. The restaurant was packed on a Sunday and they accommodated a fast pick up order. With a baby it’s so tough to wait long so we really appreciate it! Our new favourite pho restaurant!

Out of all the pho restaurants in the area, I would say this place has the best pho and Bun Bo Hue in the area. Highly recommended. They also have an outdoor patio if you're not comfortable eating indoors yet. For the Vietnamese people out there, you'll appreciate Paris By Night playing in the background on the TV.

Tucked away off of Somerset and you might not notice it, but I thought the broth was delicious and the meat was very good! I had #7 and will be returning. The price point was very reasonable & the service was fast. Also, there's free parking in a lot across the street from the restaurant for customers. It's a great, casual restaurant!

An electrical contractor introduced me to this restaurant about six years ago and I've been coming back often. Sometimes too often. Their food is great! I strongly recommend Pho 99 on Lebreton Street.

Have been coming here for years, always love the food. The staff are very friendly too. Compared to many other pho restaurants in Ottawa this is better quality food for the best price.

Pho 99 good service friendly all the pho on this street is good but this is good place to start of you never had pho before!

Everything tasted great, as usual. I think I was more hungry than I thought because a large pho didn't fill me up, so maybe I should have gotten the extra large. Lol

Can't complain about free parking, delicious Pho Bo Hue (or Rice with Chicken & Beef), and good service.

The pho wasn't too good and smaller portions than other places. The service wasn't great either from both the server and the manager. I usually like is place from before but something has changed where I didn't enjoy it as much.

The service was good and people are nice but the food was not. The generals chicken doesn't even resemble the culinary delight that I have tried at other restaurants. The other platters that we sampled were tasteless and bland. Sad because it's close to home and again the people are very nice.

I heard from a friend that their bun bo hue is pretty good and I haven't been to this restaurant in a long time. The place is a bit old but it was still decently clean. The bun bo hue had a decent of various meats, tribes and tendons etc. At first bite it wasn't bad at all by the more I ate it had a more of a distinctive MSG and seasoning in it to give it is flavour. Overall it's not bad but I definitely have amazing ones in Toronto where the soup is more sweet from the meat/bone than MSG and artificial flavourings.
