Pho Binh Minh

This place has sadly gone waaaay downhill. The prices went up, and the portions went down. The meat portions on takeout are abysmal compared to what they were previously. They never listen to the notes on orders. It’s sad that so many restaurants are cheaping out. Unfortunately this one has fallen victim to the same.

Vermicelli bowl was delicious. There was a good balance of taste between the ingredients and right portion of noodles to the salad, meat, spring roll. Sauce was insufficient. They used to serve free warm tea prior to the meal but now it's only water with lemon. Busy during meal times and expect waiting time minimum 10-15mins since everything is cooked fresh upon order. Restaurant interior is nice. Menu has a variety of options for lunch and dinner. Parking can be difficult and might consider parking at the grocery parking lot across.

Having moved from Toronto to Hamilton, I was looking for a Pho restaurant that hit the spot. Pho Binh Minh is hands down the best pho I’ve had in Canada. Highly recommend

I have been going to this restaurant for pho for 13 years now. This is the only place i will go for pho, its the best you will have! My family drive from out of town just to eat here. Besides pho they have many delicious dishes you wont be disappointed. Love the owner, shes such a sweetheart:)

Fantastic decor, great staff, great menu, awesome food. Trust me, I just got home from 5 years in Vietnam. This is the real deal. Very clean everywhere. Nice staff. Try it. If you like Vietnamese food you will love it here. Can you tell I'm impressed?

Received a recommendation to try the Bun Bo Hue. Not the best but definitely top 3 that I've tried including restaurants in Toronto

The restaurant itself is as authentic as it gets. The soup was very beefy and flavorful, lots of meat given including the blood cubes and viet sausage, wasn't as spicy as I hoped but that's not a problem. Would recommend to others to give it a go.

Mango salad tasted fresh, fish sauce was well seasoned and not watered down. They noted everything in the menu was +$2 because of the pandemic but it was still well priced

Overall very happy with the meal and would gladly go back when I'm back in town

This place is a pretty good Viet Pho place in Hamilton, one thing I do like is they expressly have a front page telling you about rising material cost and most items are $2 higher than menu (not their fault, result of COVID on businesses)

I got the 22 SMALL which is enough for a petite person like me, noodles were soft and the soup was pretty good, not MSG heavy and good amount of meat. Only downside is the price, with 10% tips is around $13 for a small bowl.

Go to queenston location in stoney creek. Way better portion and flavours.

I paid more and got less at this location. Greedy.

Visited Hamilton and felt like getting Vietnamese food for dinner. Ordered the Vermicelli with shredded pork, spring roll and sausage. The portions were good and tastes amazing

Had high expectations for this restaurant due to the reviews but I ended up being very disappointed. We ordered the fried fish and mango salad dish, which when I picked up my order was missing the mango salad. We ended up just eating the fish by itself, which was mushy. We also got the coconut shrimp, which didn't taste like coconut at all. The sauce had also spilled all over the shrimp because the container wasn't closed properly. We got the vermicelli noodle with beef. The beef was yummy and well seasoned but the dish was 85% noodles. We also got the rice wraps with beef/pork which was also 90% noodles, the seasoning inside had a weird powdery texture, and I honestly couldn't find any actual meat in the wrap. Lastly we also got the chicken and eggplant dish which was okay but wasn't well seasoned. Definitely won't go back again and still waiting on a refund for the missing mango salad. Ended up hungry after dinner even though we had leftovers because I didn't have the appetite to eat any more of the food.

Not a fan of the service or the 2 dollar covid tax per menu item they charge, I understand when they were closed but they’re open for dining snd they’re charging an extra 2 dollars per menu item, our bill came up to an extra 22 dollars simple for a covid tax… there’s better places that offer quality food with no “covid tax”

Me and my significant other visit this location quite often and we are never disappointed. The servers are always polite, friendly and expedient. The food is exceptional and consistent - easily the best pho (& rice paper rolls - checkout #03B) in the city. The pho with 'special' beef (#23A) may sound suspect, but it's a hidden gem on the menu if you want to mix things up and if you like ginger.

Best pho I've ever had. I come here often and it's by far my favourite Vietnamese restaurant. The broth is light and herbal with great flavour. As well, the food is reasonably priced, even with the increase in price die to covid

I love the quantity and taste of this restaurant but from my last few visits (late review) I found a plastic bag in my bowl of pho and on another visit, found not only one but quite a few pieces of hair in my beef & rice dish.

Pic was taken 80 weeks back so yah I miss to dine in this place!

This used to be a good restaurant. I got food last night it had no flavour and was watery. I'll definitely never return.

We just called for pick up, as we have many times during COVID, and out of the blue they are charging two dollars EXTRA on EVERY order! Not on top of the entire order, but for EVERY item! They just lost a long time loyal customer! My simple order just skyrocketed to $73.40 before taxes!

This is our family favorite place to eat and enjoy. Food is always fresh, Pho soup didn't lose it's quality after lockdown.

Great tasting pho and excellent portions for XL. For the price, you get more than you can ask for. I always visit this place when I'm in Hamilton. Herbs are fresh, they use the thin noodles, and the broth is steaming hot. One of my best pho spots.

The kitchen cares how the food tastes, everything is super fresh and flavourful. Staff is super friendly and helpful. No wonder this restaurant is so busy!

Very friendly service, good food, prices and quantity. Very glad to have come tried this place since we're only in town for a week. Would definitely recommend to others. For 3 of us, we had the XL pho, grilled chicken vermicelli, the sampler appetizer plate and the mango milkshake. We had leftovers to take home!

A couple of hours ago, I picked up an order of rice paper rolls with grilled beef. I also ordered the rare beef and flank brisket noodle soup. I'm not a big fan of rice paper rolls, but I try them once in a while, especially at new (to me) places. The first one was so good that I couldn't stop myself from eating the second. The soup will have to wait. I'm full! Also the staff were all super friendly. I'll be back for sure.

This is the best restaurant. My family always come here and I love the pho, it’s delicious and also great service. This place is like my whole memory.

Food is delish! Staff are cool.our family get away every week. Its funny but My husband will not go to any pho place but here The best Pho in our opinion (vietnamese Resto). Put a smile on my husband face all the time

Love the spicy bún bò Huế soup here, so tasty yummy. Also weekend waitresses are pretty cute, attentive and look so yummy too

Food was good. Server had no clue about food safety. She would bring our bowls with her fingers in them. After touching her face and mask.

Tasty, delicious Vietnamese food.

You'll smell the aromatic food the second you step in the shop. Huge variety of dishes on the menu.

I thought the fried dishes we tried were a tad oilier than what I'm comfortable with, but everything was very delicious.

We tried their tamarind chicken served on a bed of lettuce, onions, and bell pepper. My partner tried their stir-fried shrimp, chicken, and beef with veggies with crispy noodles and he loved it.

We're planning on trying their pho next time we're in.

Nice surpise. After seeing every time I went for groceries to the dutch store a lot of people going to this restaurant, we tried this restaurant with a pleasant result. Very decent Vietnamese food. Everything is very fresh. And the take out is packed well. We now come here regularly for sitdown/take out. Staff is friendly, but the food is what makes us come back.

We love binh minh. It’s a classic in our house and since it’s so affordable we get it quite often! The service is always efficient and the food is consistently good! Thanks binh minh
