Pho Hoan

Affordable, delicious, and quick service. The broth does not disappoint. Great little spot

This was an utterly disappointing meal. The pho was lacking in flavour and was too oily. I was served a bowl with a small, handful of noodles and four pieces of rather tasteless beef. My rolls fell to pieces when I picked them up. The service was perfunctory and without grace. I paid about $10 more than I would have anywhere else in Ottawa for the same thing. Find another place that serves authentic to Vietnamese noodles, any place.

I always order the beef with rice. It’s delicious and makes a perfect dinner! I highly recommend the soup as well, the broth is so good!

I got some beef pho for takeout. They were kind and fast. They also packaged everything separately so that things didn't get soggy. I am also gluten free which they were aware of and ensured my pho was gluten free. It was tasty!

Low profile restaurant with fast service and tasty pho. Also tried their vermicelli which was good, although broken.

Food was very good. Has been consistent for the last year that I've eaten there. Small place.

Stopped by here after a visit to the Aviation and Space Museum, nice little strip mall style restaurant, staff were nice, no rush to order, simple menu, food was alright, nice ambience, just a little small neighborhood Pho, friendly pricing and generous portions, I will try it again next time I'm in the area! Give it a try!

Friendly service couldn't make up for the overcooked limp noodles. Beef was brought to the table overcooked and not raw and allowed to slowly cook in piping hot broth as I'm accustomed to.

Sandwiched between dominos and a shawarma joint was this place. Decided to try it out and was a bit disappointed. Prices are on the higher side and portion wise/ingredients weren't appealing. Got the beef soup and it was basically just noodles with 4 tiny pieces of meat.

Compare that to other pho places that give you excellent portions and value.

I ordered a large beef pho and 2 salad rolls with tofu (1 portion). The broth was very weak, not a lot of beef, but mostly noodle and the rolls had also mostly noodle in them. Considering the meal consisted mostly of noodles, I thought it overpriced.

We ordered dinner for pick up from Pho Hoan tonight and it was excellent. Shrimp salad rolls, grilled shrimp vermicelli bowl, and pork and grilled shrimp vermicelli bowl. Everything was fresh, the vermicelli was still warm, the portions were generous and the price was really reasonable. My husband has celiac disease and can't have gluten, and they were able to accommodate with the shrimp. The only aspect that was so so was the peanut dipping suace for the shrimp rolls. I found it oddly tasteless and not on par with everything else. But overall, the meal was great and I would give it 9/10. Will definitely order again.

Ordered a Chicken Pad Thai, Thursday, August 6th. It was delicious; however, my wife and I got food poisoning from it and have been suffering ever since.

I love the shrimp summer rolls and of course their pho! Our go to pho place! But when it comes to take out, I feel that even when you buy large size, because of their take out container, you kind of just get less compared to when you eat in the restaurant. Nonetheless, we love the food.

You haven’t.
My man has the best tasting broth. It’s not overwhelming or juicy, simply right.
Try the P12 (pork), you will not regret it.

Highly recommended! My husband and I had assorted spring rolls and salad rolls for appertizer, Pho and Pad Thai for main dishes. They are all great and big portions. Service is pretty fast. Im definitely coming back.

This Pho is good. But the price of the food went up and they are not always consistent with the quality of food.

I've been coming here for years, ever since my college days. The food has always been excellent, generous and fast. I personally recommend their pork pho (P12) ; very rich and succulent.

Simple, yet delicious Vietnamese cuisine, partnered with friendly service. Never a bad option to dine here.

This place is terrible. I do not recommend to anyone. The place is dirty. The customer service needs to be better. Room temperature is quite chill. The follow up text kinda bothers me like they push me to write good review. I do not normally write bad review but this visit is exceptional.

Nothing bad to say. Good food, good portions, good prices. A very good value and high quality food. Really good BBQ pork. They know what they're doing at Pho Hoan!

I don't think I've ever been served so quickly and kindly! Cute decor and their vermicelli bowls are amazing! It's my second time coming and I'm definitely coming again.
