Pho Rang Dong

This is probably my favourite Pho in the city. The exact thing you want to eat when you want something warm in the belly on a cold day. I come here pretty often since discovering it. The bonus is that it's very affordable. Don't skip out on the crispy spring rolls either. So delicious.

I ordered through Uber Eats. I really liked the shrimp and pork wonton soup - the broth is great. The fresh shrimp rolls were also tasty. My only complaint- I ordered 3 Diet Cokes and received 1 Coke and 2 diet Cokes instead. For anyone who works at an establishment that offers food delivery- If a customer orders a number of only diet sodas, they probably do not drink regular soda. Regardless, most customers do not appreciate paying for something they did not order. If you run out of an item, you can not go wrong with a refund. Unfortunately, it is easy to go wrong with substitutions. One last thing for my order specifically- I also ordered orange juice, which was the same price as the Diet Coke. If you were to make a substitution- you can see from my order that someone here likes orange juice.

Pretty good bowl of Phö. Wasn't super impressed with Pad Thai. Quite affordable $10-12 main dishes on average. Write your own order on the bill and cash only, so make sure you hit an ATM before heading here. Good place for a quick fill-up, but you're not going to want to hang out here, as it were - designed for eating.

Came here for late dinner on a Friday. Not busy but there were a few other groups in the restaurant. Food came quick. We asked for water and didn’t get it until almost the end of the meal. The taste of the food was very bland and meat was tough. This is undeniably worse than your average pho restaurant.

Pho is good, spring rolls were my favourite part of the meal though— would definitely return for those.

I ordered #30.
They actually served me lettuce in a ziploc bag and called it a salad. See the pic … I left it behind.

They charged a dollar extra for the debit machine and failed to let me know until after.

Then I learn from my coworker who dined in found glass in the spring rolls.

Frist thing first, I was not served with water.
Then I ordered Special Pho with Deep fried pork spring role.
The spring role is decent, I recommend it. But the pho is nothing good. The beef slices in there are too thick and so are the chicken. They ends up being super dry and not that flavorful. I don't know what kind of pho noodles they pick but the noodles are dry as well. With NO WATER on the table, the entire experience with the pho soup is just wayyyy too dry.
Yes, you may argue that I should've just drink the soup. I thought so too but the soup was too hot to drink non-stop.
Two more minor issues is that 1. They only accept cash. I think this is something unacceptable as 2023.2. The lime piece they serve with the soup was super hard. Took me a lot of effort to squeeze two drops of that juice out.
Only reason I didn't give them a one star review is because the value of the food is decent. With 12 bucks, you can get a huge portion.

I give this restaurant 5 stars, it’s incredibly worth it. They served us dishes with huge portions and affordable prices. The flavour is good, likened it to Vietnam cuisine taste

I had hoped to get vegan pho but there was only meat-based stock for the soups. Upon the server’s recommendation I got the lemongrass tofu pad Thai instead— delicious! Not a traditional pad Thai, but a very tasty noodle stir fry with tofu and vegetables at an extremely reasonable price. Will definitely be back!

Pho was good, Shrimp rolls were delicious and options for alcohol beverage. Please don't drink n drive.

Great Vietnamese spot. Highly recommend especially number 28 Hanoi style pork Vermicelli, flavours are sublime ingredients are fresh. Also very affordable which is just the cherry on top really, because their food is special and definitely worth trying.

Good portion size. Fried spring rolls were great, rice dish was okay. Unfortunately, missed the mark with the pho. Broth lacked flavour and tasted water down.

Really nice owner, made me feel welcome. Was served very quickly. Rare beef pho wasn’t the absolute best I’ve ever had, but it was still completely satisfying.

I've went here ever since I was 6. It's you can taste the love and care in the food. Amazing place.

We recently bought Bun Cha Ha Noi and Spring rolls and they were fantastic and so tasty. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of fresh herbs and bun to go along with the dish. We would have this for lunch daily had it not been too far away from where we live. Highly recommended.

I really like this Pho restaurant! The price is great and the lady is very nice and courteous when I go there. The food is great as well!

Pho rang dong is always amazing, they have a very good salad rice and porkchop plate, with covid its only take out. And best bring cash to order.cheers

Been going to this restaurant for years. This place is clean, food portions are awesome as well as price.service is fast, friendly hostess, tasty food and cash only. This restaurant offers vegetarian dishes for those who are as well as meat dishes.

Authentic and delicious Vietnamese food! Best pho I’ve had in a long time with so much flavour and ingredients. Ordered the house special pho and it came with bountiful protein and noodles. Can’t wait to order again!

Visited on a Monday night for dinner. Service was fast! We ordered pho and spring rolls. They don't have mint but the deep fried spring rolls are great! Very affordable.

I'll start by saying the value of a bowl of Phó here is incredible. XL for $8.50. I thoroughly enjoyed my bowl. Only thing is, I found the broth a tad too bland for my liking but was still delicious. Service was good as well.

The broth is tasteless. The noodles were over cooked almost to mush. Beef was majority fat. Even our appetizer with peanut sauce was so overpowering. I have never not finished pho before. Had a few bites and left.

First of i love my Pho soup. I have been to many Pho places. Broth is orginal beef was chewy and not much in my soup. The horizon sauce was watered down.after I have experienced so nasty watered down horizon sauce I give it no stars.

A very good costumer services, and the food is very good, also nice and clean place, prices are very affordable, I have 14 years visiting this restaurant and they still provide a good costumer services and excellent food taste.

I keep coming only for the food, but the customer service is horrible. That lady owner doesn't know how treat the customers properly. Very rude.

I love this place! It’s down the street from me and not only is the food out of this world good but the service is quick, polite and helpful and the prices are incredible for what you get. I come here all the time and it’s always quality - definitely come here for great food! There are vegan options by the way!
