***Quality*** I have been to almost every pho place in the gta this is hands down the best.the broth is very flavorful. Typically eye of round is used for all pho restaurants.this place uses a higher quality meat I asked for it on the side and based on looking at the marbling and the taste it's definitely of higher quality.this will be a go to for me!

Staff are with bad manner. Food is ok, not super great. I would not go back again and won’t recommend.

It made me feel more mad by seeing the review response by the restaurant. The restaurant did not ponder and try to make improvement with their services after getting the bad review but just fighting back with their “reasons”. Didn’t they know it’s also wasting my time to write a review? ! I never put on bad review and this is the first one I did.

Of course I know some restaurants having a common 18% gratuity. You DID NOT remind us like you said but just we ACTUALLY DID put 18% included in the bill for a table with just having 3 or 4 party the time we’re paying the bill. We totally didn’t get it but couple of us still just paid by simply tapping on the credit card machine. Some wanted to understand why we were sort of forcing to pay 18% on a table of 4. Tips is a way to say thank you for servers for their services and the satisfaction of the services. We don’t mind paying 18%, 20% or higher if the service we feel good.
What made you mandatory put that 18% on the bill with table of 3 or 4. We wish we had the recording to show you the attitude you had towards the conversation. If you didn’t think you had bad service manner, we only can say good luck to your restaurant. If there is a zero ranking, I’d pick that on the service section.

Lastly, I didn’t even mention the 2.4% card fee charge that you didn’t tell us in advance. Couple of us only knew after tapping/paying to see from the receipt. (Because you only shown us the total in your card machine, no breakdown). It’s better to let customers know in advance to have the customer deciding paying with card or not.

They charge 18% gratuity only we have 4 persons. They never tell in advance charge 2.4% if use credit cards to pay.
They never provide invoice (official) to collect bill after paid.
CRA need to involve this restaurant might never pay tax to our government tax indeed clients always pay cash?

Neighbourhood staple with simple and delicious food. Great portions. Great service, caring staff, don't ruin the chefs hard work on the Bone Stock. Leave the hoisin and siracha for others.

I didn't like the Bún bò Huế there as much as I liked it at other places and when my Vietnamese friend made it for me. The broth didn't taste the same and it wasn't as rich.
Other appetizers tasted really good, but I don't know if they're serving authentic Vietnamese style food.

I've Loved this place for almost two decades. But even more now. They take their covid protocols very seriously. The food is excellent.

I just ordered rare beef pho. For $13, it is the most expensive and tiny portion of Pho I've EVER seen - it's about half of a pho order from Ginger. Inexcusable. The broth taste is OK but it's watery. I will not be ordering from this miserly place again. Just finished my lunch and am still hungry,

No idea what happened to this place but it’s horrible now. Overcooked food that doesn’t taste anything like vietfood. Would not recommend anymore.

The minced shrimp on sugarcane is a must have dish.absolutely loved the spicy pho. So happy they sell jars of their satay spicy sauce. It is a must have condiment for every kitchen

Do NOT come here. Looking at other reviews, it seems that the quality of this place has gone down significantly.

This is one of my only negative reviews, I usually only give reviews that are 5/5 or 4/5, especially if they are for small business.

Came here with high expectations, especially seeing the reviews and hearing good things. This was supposedly one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Toronto, however, the food was rather unremarkable and tasteless.

Were this the only issue, I wouldn't even bother writing a review. The real material matter to me was the exceptionally poor service I received from one of the staff. I don't think I have ever been served by someone with such a poor attitude in my life. When I asked a question, he responded that he was "very busy" despite the restaurant not being close to full.

I had a vegetarian soup - it tasted like raw vegetables in unsalted boiled water. Otherwise reasonably priced.

Horrible customer service, the waitress did not even great us when we came in. She brought the menus to the table and left with an attitude. We decided to order and try the food instead of leaving right after that, however. The food is so so, the egg rolls' skin were hard, the grilled pork looked like stir-fried to me since there was no grill marks. The most annoying thing was the conversation between the owner and the staffs when we were dinning here. Not sure did they realize that we could understand their language or not, but we felt so uncomfortable when they kept talking badly about the customers who were present. We paid for our meal with tips but the waitress's attitude was not better. She just sullenly asked me how I wanted to pay and that's it. No courtesy nothing. I would never come back here, ever.

My favourite go-to place in Toronto for any occasions. Service is fast, friendly staff and good quality food. Been going there every 2-3 weeks and the quality has gotten better (is that possible?) over the years.

Pho from this place is my comfort food of the year. It calms down my migraines somehow! Love their beef fried noodles too. They are accepting credit cards now, so it’s not a cash only place anymore.

Everything is just top notch. One of the best value meal places on the Toronto west end.

I used to love this place but the quality has gone so downhill: (had pho last night and the meat was such bad quality, it was hardly edible.

Amazing pho. The only one better is down the street. But Golden Turtle’s sweet patio somehow makes their broth hit different.

So disappointed that the pho broth was tasteless.very much like a water down stock. 3 stars for spring rolls. Probably not going to order from here again.

I had this suprise lunch date with a dear friend who has impeccable knowledge and taste, this meal was special for many reasons, the company, the suprise and the awesome food. I loved that as a vegetarian, I had a heartymeal and enjoyed the subtle flavors of the sauces and how well it was presented. Your chef and the team, the Uber delivery person everyone worked for me to get this meal. So grateful!
In specific the sauces and the spring roll was a class apart!

Wasn’t a big fan of the fresh spring rolls, but the pho was amazing. Broth wasn’t fatty and it carried lots of flavour. The covered patio is great too! Will definitely be back to try more dishes.

Great food, great service, & great safety protocols compares to all other Vietnamese restaurants in town.

I’m am confused as to how people give this place less than five stars. I have lived in many parts of vietnam and find the food from here authentic and very tasty. I am always prone to stomach issue from restaurants and I have never had this issue with their food which speaks worlds to me. Their food is delicious and authentic!

Pho and spring rolls were amazing! I was full for the whole night. Portions are great and well priced, lots of leftovers for the day after.

I’m Vietnamese - and pho is probably my ultimate comfort food. In the 4 years I’ve lived in Toronto, the best bowl of pho I’ve had has been from Golden Turtle - consistently. Between the delicious cooked brisket (I enjoy tripe as well) and the broth, Golden Turtle is a winner for me!

And they deliver - and I have to say, I’ve ordered quite a few times from them during the pandemic - and the food always arrives so securely packed, and the broth (packed separately) is always still hot. This is a tasty dish that travels so well for delivery. Please support this amazing local gem - especially during this difficult time.

Best broth in the city. The spicy lemongrass is my go-to comfort food all winter long. If you're debating between the fresh or spring rolls, the answer is 'both'.
