We came here for a late lunch - both the food and service were great! We got the vermicelli with grilled chicken and spring rolls, and a bowl of pho with rare beef.

As most of the reviews here I had the same experience, food was alright nothing mind blowing but we ate it happily, the customer service however, their body language made it very clear they did not want us there and not only were we ignored for the most part when we tried to order we were told we’re ordering “too much food” and if we were sure we were gonna eat it, she continued to pressure us to not order what we wanted for a while…excuse me? Yes we did order a lot on purpose because we wanted leftovers to take home but why does that matter? I’m paying for it and honestly I think is very disrespectful and triggering to tell someone what they should and shouldn’t be eating or comment on what they choose to have, needless to say we will not be going back

Just got pho cause I was craving. Found thr broth to be very sweet.
Not bad though for price of portion size but flavour could be better.

The attention to detail was fantastic! We sit down and a hot cup of jasmine tea comes immidiately. This was greay especially when it is freezing cold outside!
The food was DELICIOUS and the portions are well worth your money. We were driving and decided to stop in, hands down the BEST decision of the day!

We order rice wraps and two pho soups one chicken on beef and both the flavor profiles were on point.

Definately worth my time to write a review for all you to read.
I love that at each table there was spoons chopsticks napkins and sauce for self serve. No waiting for anything!

Pho tran offers average vietnamese courses in all of kitchener, waterloo, cambridge and guelph.i find their grilled meats dryer then the sahara.however their wait staff is their shortcomings, there’s only one person serving the entire restaurant.can’t help but feel for the young man being overworked.my time of visit was early dinner hours on a saturday and the restaurant was well occupied.they do offer complimentary tea; which i can do without because it’s bland as hot water.i had to remind the server to bring tea and then bean spouts for the noodle soup.visit pho tran if one can tolerate inattentive dine in waitering accommodations.until next time-

Bought #107 well-done beef noodle soup. It was delicious. Beef was tasty and tender. Soup was good. I will definitely go back.

My wife and I heard about this place from a friend, it’s roughly 25-30 mins from where we live and decided it to give it a try. The best pho and bun bo hue we’ve had in a restaurant hands down! The staff are very friendly, and always make us feel welcome. The service is fast, and the atmosphere is great. We dine here a few times a month since our first visit and now we only eat here when we crave Vietnamese food. Highly recommend!

I looked at their menu online and I ordered shrimp pad thai (menu says $13.50). When I come to pick up my order, they charge me $19.60 (? !? !) - said the online menu is old. So why do they have old menu online? I would not have ordered if I knew how expensive it was. And the portion was small.

Great food and service. Was with a moderate sized group - all of our food was fantastic and we all also especially loved the taro bubble tea.

Great staff, delicious food. The Bubble tea is fantastic, and the PHO is even better. Also, get some fresh spring rolls; you won't regret it.

Didn't like the beef stir fry, it wasn't what i thought it would be, disappointing.

The soup broth is one of the best in the tri-cities. Their wings are gluten-friendly! Bún Bò Huế is delicious but could use a touch more shrimp paste. Phó broth is delicious! Definitely had the homemade taste. Highly recommend

A really good Vietnamese restaurant! We were seated very fast and the server was helpful. I had their vermicelli and it tasted very flavourful especially the grilled pork. I also liked how they make their deep fried spring roll. It is also very clean and kept inside.

The Thai spacy noodle rices it's the wonderful opción. And the star is Pho Satay super deliciously

This is our go to for Thai, I enjoy their Pad Thai and green/red curry, though I do add salt to the curry, and prefer a little more coconut milk, but the Currys are still very good.

The service was so good! The food was just as amazing! The broth was so flavourful, rare beef was very tender, and mango salad was perfect to top it off. This is the best pho in Kitchener Waterloo and I continue to go here year after year as the ultimate go to️

Came with a friend for lunch. They check vaccine passport then let us sit. Ordered a pho house special noodle soup and some spring rolls. Food came within 5 mins, hot and delicious. Wait staff was very friendly and helpful. Plexiglass dividers are set up when you pay. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely delicious! Ordered for the first time on Friday and was super impressed. The aroma that hits you when you walk in the door is heavenly! Portion size was very large. Taste was amazing. Can't wait to try other items on the menu!

Friendly, quick service. Portions, including meat servings are really generous. I got the satay and my partner got the rare beef with meatballs pho. We both enjoyed our dishes. The spring rolls were okay.

Recommended by some to try Pho at this place and I was not disappointed. The green thai curry was delicious too.

I have been to many places through my great 'pho phase' and, this is by far one of the best places! Everything is always amazing. One time I ordered it for takeout and, they accidentily forgot to put in bean sprouts / herbs. I called to come pick them up and they gave me an entire extra large for free. Amazing customer service!

Fantastic!
Everything tastes so fresh, and is cooked perfectly. My number one choice for Viet Thai in Kitchener.

I ordered mixed vegetables with noodles. Everything was cooked to almost mush. Flavor was boiled and cooked out of everything. Noodles at bottom, were stuck together in one lumpy mush (not noodles anymore). Vegetables as well. Also, vegetable spring rolls tasted like they were filled with mashed potato. I did not like that, could not eat it, a waste of my time and money.

Ordered the special rice dish, but it was missing the small bowl of soup broth. Called back and asked about it and they said it doesn't come with it unless you ask for it. I wasn't able to drive back to pick it up and so I asked if I could get it on my next order but they said no with some attitude. Pretty disappointed.

The absolute best shrimp and pork salad rolls and chicken pad Thai I’ve had in the KW area! This was my first time and I will definitely be back! Staff are very friendly and the service is super quick! So if you’re thinking about grabbing lunch don’t hesitate!

Pho Tran staff and Christine are a treasure to me and my family. To us, they are like family.

I was told about this place by one of my co-workers (being Vietnamese, he said he knew this place rocked).

He was right.we were pleasantly surprised at how good everything tasted.

The pho was probably best I have locally, in a long time.

This is my first time have been trying fish sauce chicken wings. Its taste delicious. Thanks Pho Tran.i will come back for sure.

BEST Viet Thai in town! Absolutely no more Behn Than for us ever again. This place is fresh and super quaint atmosphere, wait staff supremely elegant yet hilarious, check it out! These guys rock! The food is exquisite, and I keep coming back for more. The service is so on point so this is an all around amazing place to dine.

Best food I have eaten in Kitchener. I would highly recommend eating here, not only for the food, but for the amazing staff that treats you with kindness and respect!

Awesome place for a date night! Very good food, especially for university students: good prices and comforting food! Would recommend, particularly the house special pho and avacado shake, mmmmmm.

This is my favourite place! The broth is always very tasty, the menu items are always delicious. The staff are very friendly and efficient. If you're a fan of Pho, give this place a try. It's also very nice inside.

Nice place to grab something appetizing after a round of golf with a buddies, friendly and helpful staffs fairly pricing all in all nice and quick service, we were in and out in less then an hour.

Hue style noodles and the best in town. I have been eating here at least once a week for the last few years.

Food is very tasty and comes in good sized portions. Staff is super friendly especially the girls who serves. Reasonable price.
Must try - crispy pork/ chicken roll with their chilli paste/sauce.
Small place but you will get your privacy.
Not so conjusted usually.
Washrooms could be a bit more tidy.

Not much to look at from the outside, but the decor is nice, the staff are friendly, the food is fresh and always made right, the prices are reasonable, the menu is huge, and the portions are enormous (seriously, I'm a big guy and I always take home extra).

Chamy, the owner, is awesome and we limit ourselves to 2 visits a month cause otherwise we'd be there more.

I always go for the vermicelli beef noodles without the peanuts and it's awesome. My girlfriend goes for the beef pho and we share a pork chop and rice dish. We usually finish everything.

Give it a shot cause the food is really good and given the cost of a fast food combo, nothing really compares when you can get a bowl of pho for $10+ tax and tip.

Vietnamese food in the KW is generally good, but this place is my favourite!

First time checking it out. I love my Pho with some vietnamese spring rolls. Got my meal and the meat was fatty. After a couple of bites i was disgusted. They brought out the spring rolls and when i dipped them in the fish sauce they tasted like chlorine. My gf also tried so we said something. At this point I was angry. They didnt try to make up for serving us bleach sauce so I wouldnt recommend anybody go here. Go down the street to pho dau bo.

Relaxing atmosphere, nice modern decor. The pho warms me up. Herby and deep flavor of the broth. Their house special on rice is exquisite! Delicious beef broth with herbs, great butterfly marinated chicken breast, veggies, home-style viet sausage loaf, thinly sliced tripe with pork flakes and steamed rice topped with a fried egg.

Good dinner at Pho Tran. Food was good and reasonably priced. They forgot one of our drink orders and promptly made it when we reminded them, apologizing several times. Good for families with kids.

Very good food here and excellent/quick service. I usually get the vermicelli with meatballs. I've also had excellent spring rolls, drunken noodles, and spicy mango stirfry here.

If i could, i will rank it 3.5* because they gave me wrong take out order (6 orders but it turned out 2 were same) but definitely not 4*. Shrimp roll is big but kind of plain.to me still pricy so i dont mind once a while visit.

Very clean, very friendly staff, great prices and very quick. They offer various types of Pho and offer a very wide range of entrees. We ordered 2 entrees, one small bowl of Pho, an appetizer, one beer and a bubble tea, all for under $50 and brought home about half the meal! Food is freshly made and so delicious. We are going to make this our "go to place" of choice. Next time, I will be taking a few pictures to show you!
