Excellent food. We have already stopped a few times here and we are impressed how clean everything is. Food tastes very good as well. Staff is very prompt and attentive. I am sure we will be back.
Amazing flavor with a well-diverse menu. It's rare to see such a great menu for a Vietnamese restaurant. They bring your utensils in a Boiling Pot cup of water which is nice never seen that before so you know it's 100% sanitary. Can't wait to come back and try other things on the menu this time I tried the C2 the fish with rice which is one of the chef specials on the first page of the menu.
Feel terrible giving a bad review, but this was the worst pad Thai I've had. By far. I see now all the negative reviews, and I wish I checked them earlier.
Also, my wife's dish has a metal shaving/sliver (maybe steel wool or something), and when we told them, they barely apologized. Then very awkwardly offered to replace the dish. We rejected the awkward offer, but they didn't even offer her a drink/desert/discount.
Also fyi don't wait for the bill like we did for quite a while. They'll eventually tell you that you need to pay at the counter.
A great addition to the neighborhood. Won't have to travel too far now for some amazing pho and Vietnamese food. We've been visiting since they opened and the quality is superb, service phenomenal, and the food is why we've been coming back.
My friends and I came to this restaurant a month ago. I came with low expection, but the exp was mind-blowing. Because of newly opening, the atmosphere was great, family-friendly and crystal clear. The food was phenomenal. I still can’t find anywhere in Waterdown has better food than this restaurant. I wrote the name under all the food we ordered. They also had beers and wine, don’t forget that. 10/10 exp, I”ll comeback soon definitely.
So I ordered the grilled salmon on fried rice. The food was great, but the portion size was bad. For 15.99, I get 3 tiny tiny pieces of salmon with lots broccoli on the side. I ordered for the salmon not the broccoli. Still, the food was very tasty so I’m giving a 4. I will most likely be returning.
Excellent! Delicious, fresh, and hot! Wonderful quality and fantastic service. Thank you for coming to Waterdown! This is my new favorite place. The kids love it too!
A pleasant surprise! I'm a Vietnamese food lover, and I've eaten pho everywhere from Toronto Chinatown, to Hanoi alleyways, to Mississauga suburbs, to the outskirts of Seoul. In a town that normally caters to the 'meat & potatoes crowd, ' Pho Nhung is a surprisingly very good option for people who need their authentic Vietnamese food fix. This is undoubtedly the best and most authentic Vietnamese food in the area.
I visited 3 times now, and I'm encouraged by the improvements each time. The bun (dry vermicelli) dishes are my favourite. The quality and flavour of the grilled pork is quite good. The sauce / seasoning and peanut garnishments really bring it to the next level in taste and texture. Presentation is excellent. Quality of the noodles is surprisingly good, as they are using the fresh noodles. Overall, I sense a richness to the flavours that tells me they are putting in real effort, though not quite at the level of the best pho restaurants I've visited.
I think they need to improve in terms of the condiments available, and supplies at the table. Unlike most similar restaurants, Phi Viet T&T does not provide an on-table organizer with hoisin, chili and fish sauce, and the special tin of house-made chillies in oil. (The lack of the chillies in oil is really disappointing.) They do provide hoisin and the regular ketchup-like chili sauce if you ask, but I would prefer if they did supply all of this by default, along with the origanizer of chopsticks, spoons, napkins, etc.
Pho Viet T&T Waterdown is a new favourite for me, and I will definitely be back!
My family is a big fan of Pho, and we’ve ate at quite a lot of different restaurants. This is by far one of the best ones I’ve been to. I ate here yesterday and I’m still craving to eat here again.
Tried to place order on-line - very confusing system. Then called in to place an order and found it difficult to understand the lady taking my order. When I picked up my order, the staff were very nice and pleasant. The restaurant looks very clean and very nice décor. Food was good, but like another reviewer said, I would say other Thai / Vietnamese places in Waterdown have a leg up on this place as far as taste goes. We had spring rolls, pad thai, wonton soup, and some rice dishes.
Unfortunately the pad thai is not good. Not a vegetable to be seen, thin noodles which makes it mushy quickly and tomato¿ base which is my least favorite type.
I know yall just opened and I'll be back to try other dishes maybe but extremely disappointed in the pad thai.
The food and service are really good. Very Authentic. Finally I found a restaurant that has a really good Bun Ca and don’t have to drive so far to Toronto if I starve for it sometimes. I tried this in few restaurants in Hamilton but the taste of the soup is so bad, not as good as this restaurant. My family really like the spring rolls here too, it is crispy and addictive. The service is very friendly and responsive, they even give us a big ladle when we said we want to share the soup, so nice of them. Everything is clean and hygiene, utensils were given in a hot glass of water. Their washroom even has a changing table for baby, so next time we can bring our baby to eat with us. 5 stars for everything.
Stopped in for lunch, as I noticed it being a fairly new restaurant in town, and it did not disappoint. Food was very good, cooked to perfection, fresh, and flavorful, with great attention to detail. I ordered the lunch special of Pot Chicken with Peppers and onions, delicious. The spring rolls were also fantastic. The staff was very pleasant to talk to, will be going back again with the whole family.
Perfect addition to the neighbourhood. Everything is so tasty. Portion sizes were great, and service was friendly. Dishes are very authentic Vietnamese.
Very lovely place however I would rate the food lowest of all the other viet, Thai restaurants in the area. Spring rolls were very doughy, mango salad dressing bland and stir fries although full of yummy veggies, we're greasy and brand. Unfortunately will not be returning.
Food is not be mentioned. But the boys here are really handsome. Good food, nice and cool restaurant. I will come back many times later. Why not 6 stars? I want to give 6 stars. 5 stars is not enough.
We really enjoyed our dinner! They served the utensils in a glass of boiling water which was nice. Our food was absolutely delicious. We had the rare beef pho, seafood fried rice, fried squid with salt and pepper sauce and some fresh rolls with shrimp. Everything was fresh and delicious, would highly recommend trying this new restaurant.
I just try the number C1. Its so delicious yummy. I will come back try another one. The service is friendly, easy get your food order. Keep up, you guy will make a bomb in town
