Pho Viet Xpress

I got #306, which was pho with rare beef. Not sure if a large size bowl would be too much, but you might need a side to be full if you get a small size. The broth was good!

My wife loves Vietnamese rice noodles, so we visit this place often. The staff service is good and the food is good.

We have been coming here for over a decade and the food is excellent each and every single time. The service is quick and friendly, the food comes out piping hot, and the quality has not suffered throughout the years. The portions did get smaller (the XL is now a large bowl, the large bowl is now a medium bowl) but other than that, fantastic.

$6.5 for 122 grams of steamed vegetables. Only 3 brocolli florets, 2 half small bok choy, and some carrot slices.that's ridiculous.

The food is amazing. I got the pho special and the broth was very rich and didn’t smell bad at all. The beef tasted really good as well. Would 100% recommend.

If you are not from their culture they are extremely rude.
Our table was the only table that god their food late. Only table that was not given water and/or tea. Our food was completely cold. We had to ask numerous times for things like herbs that are meant to come with the dish. Really horrible and laughed at us, I felt so uncomfortable my whole meal.

Food is always hot, fresh and fast. Been here many times and never disappointed. We ordered rare beef, seafood and udon pho, very good. The pad Thai was very nice too. Gets busy fast, take out is an option.

Visited pho viet xpress several times in the past and each time was pretty good but during my most recent visit, quality decreased significantly. The restaurant offers three pho sizes: small, large, and x large - ordered a large which is priced at $17 before tax. The large is basically a small and I do not recall pho costing this much before. The soup was nice and rich but the rare beef was tough. Also found a small hair in the pho.

Ordered chicken noodle soup (pho ga) and deep fried crispy pork spring rolls. Everything was hot and delicious and served quickly by friendly wait staff. Love this place!

I heard this was the best Vietnamese restaurant, ive had better.food was okay, service was meh, price was same as everywhere else.

I will never enjoy pho like i do here. Its so yummy and a good price and portion size. Staff is nice but the Pho is the best thing about this place. I usually have extra soup so i just boil my own rice noodles and have another bowl of pho for breakfast.

Quality of food is almost coming back like before covid but the quantity is getting poor while the price has been rising continuously. It has been risen almost $5 since 2017 and I don't know it worth it anymore as a regular customer.
Also I am so sad about the fact that they deleted my previous review instead of making a comment.

My pork chop was too dry, and some other restaurants give two pork chops rather than one. The quantity of vegetables (lettuce etc.) was pretty good.

This spot is a GEM! From stir fried udon, green curry, pad thai to even their Mango Milkshake they do great!
My only number one critique is to STOP using Styrofoam containers for the Stir Fried Udon because the sauce will ALWAYS SPILL
Im sure there’s better cost environmentally friendly packaging you can use instead of that!

Food was good.

But is this place following food safety protocols? I ask because the young woman taking orders and interacting with uber drivers refused to wear a mask. Can't wear a mask when there is a lockdown then find a job that works from home. What kind of place hire an antimasker. A faceshield is inadequate. If she has covid and handling food for so many people then this could be really bad. I will be contacting public health to evaluate this place if when I come back next week she still doesn't follow standard health rules and wear a mask. At least the cook in the back had a mask.

This was one of my favorite restaurants in the area but I really disappointed with my order today. I ordered Bun Bo Hue, expecting nice warm food and ready to eat from the restaurant but no my food was cold like they packed my order hours ago and I live like 3 mins away from the restaurant. Hope this won't happen again or this isn't a new thing the restaurant do with take out orders

The pho was good. Slightly on the salty side and a bit more expensive than other pho places. Overall good flavour just wish the soup was more clear since the soup did look quite dark.

Overpriced, small portion sized soup was completely cold. Random fat chunks with no meat grossed me out.

I get it’s covid and the situation is overall difficult, but effort must continue to be made

I used to go this place a lot. Couldn’t wait to dine-in and visited the place 2days ago. It was about 4pm on Monday. Taste was perfect as usual. It’s the best pho I’ve tried. BUT always the service. The waitress is rude. She looks really literally angry with customers and the way she talks to customer is really not professional. I was ordering the menu and I guess she didn’t get me well. She was like “What do you mean? ” with very uncomfortable face and tone. After that, she THREW and TOOK AWAY the paper for record and pen from us. I hope that they improve their service.

I used to love this place, but now it's not as good as it used to be. The soup tastes so salty and significantly less meat. The price has gone up which I understand, but the portion also got so small.

Good thai/ vietnamese food on a budget. Really liked the fresh rolls and pho. Need to improve some customer service as some of the staff seem unfriendly but not a deal breaker.

The price doesn't match with the portion. The price goes up every once a while. XL soup is about at least half broth. At least put a little more noodle in it.

We always enjoy coming here. Quick and good service they pay attention but dont hover over your table. The food is great and you get a large portion too. It is a great place to go when you can't figure out dinner or just don't feel like it after a long day. They are very quick at preparing take out too.

Went in after seeing so many great reviews and I was not disappointed. The food was finger licking awesome. The service needs a little improvement though. Waitress we're lil confused and got the wrong doshbto our table. But for the rates, they managed to knock off 5 stars!

This place is pretty much always busy. Their menu had tons of variety from different types of pho to vermicelli to rice and dry noodle dishes. Great customer service and short wait times. Price to portion ratio is more than satisfiable.

If you have read my reviews, you’ll see that I eat at a lot of Vietnamese placss. This one is okay. Lots of seating and very busy, you can get a decent soup that’s beefy but the broth is simple. The spring rolls are wrapped in a typical spring roll wrapper and not in rice paper. The flavours are satisfactory. The fish sauce is weak.

In a pinch, this place is fine.

It was one of my fav restaurant and used to visit almost once a week. However, today I decide not to go anymore. I was so disappointed because the amount of noodles and beef are reduced and it makes the soup taste too mild: the soup was filled almost 80% after taking out all the noddles and beef. How sad I lost my fav place.

I usually get a pho with rare beef and tendon. Today, I could not hide my disappointment. I did not tell the staffs at the moment but it barely had any tendon and it was not hot enough. Rather lukewarm. Spring roll appetizer was partially burnt. I kept on coming back many times but until today. Three stars were given just because of good experiences in the past. I rather go to Little Saigon in Richmond Hill from now on.

This place used to be my go-to pho restaurant. They have great soup and give lots of meat. Today, I ordered a large and saw that they didn’t have enough noodles. I ordered a large and was still hungry afterwards! Noodles aren’t expensive compared to meat and I hope they will give more for hungry customers like me next time.

Its good. Service is pretty decent but now I find my new favourite spot just down the street in the KIVAS plaza. All I have to say is Wow! You gotta love those VIETNAMESE brooms they use! Haha

This place is amazing. Always packed, usually a line up at the door. Quick service. Amazing food. I love the rare beef soup and I always add a side of veggies into my. Vietnamese Ice Coffee is so good. I've never been disappointed by this place. It's the perfect place for fall and winter warm ups

This is our favourite Pho place! Clean and good spacing. Quick service and the food is tasty and priced decently. It gets busy quickly!

I went for pho soup (the name, after all) and chose a beef version from the many. It was nicely served with ample content but quite bland vs expectations. I'll go back to try a different pho.

The soup is excellent. As are most things on the menu. I have been there many times. Always great food at very reasonable prices.very noisy in the restaurant. But overall I keep going back because of the food. It is great.

Got prefer to this place and was blown away with service, food and cleanliness. Price is par with majority of viet resto in GTA. Watch out for peak time (lunch and dinner time) as they will be very busy.

I ordered the large "Pho with rare beef and tendon". Taste was delicious and the amount of food was reasonable for the price.

This is our go to Pho restaurant. It’s clean, stellar service and reasonably priced food. It can get busy during colder months and on the weekends due to high demand obviously nonetheless they’re fast and efficient they’ll get you seated shortly.

First time here I give this place a 7/10. Coming in I wasn’t told that I was supposed to write the numbers beside the items I wanted onto the sheet of paper to give to the waitress so I was unknowingly waiting for some time until I figured out and asked the waitress on my own. Food didn’t take long to arrive. I ordered the veggie pad Thai, Portion was not bad I just wished that my spring rolls weren’t that burnt on the edges.

Big menu with fresh dishes. The pho is always good and the veggie stir fry was really good. Parking is a bit hectic. Service is so so.

I've dined here 6 times. The food quality and taste are consistent. I like the cleaniess of the restaurant. The service is good too. Pricing is comparable to other restaurants in this category.

PRETTY GOOD HERE! WELL LIT. CLEAN. FAST SERVICE. REAL AUTHENTIC VIETNAMESE FOOD! ALTHOUGH THE FRESH ROLLS/RICE PAPER ROLLS ARE A TAD SKIMPY ON THE MEAT. SOUPS ARE ALL HEARTY AND RICH IN FLAVOUR. I LOVE THAT THEYRE NOT STINGY W. THE SIDE HERBS.

Convenient location for me with above average Vietnamese food. I think the Iced Coffee needs a bit of work, the texture is very inconsistent sometimes it’s grainy and other times it’s okay.
