DO NOT GO HERE FOR PASSPORT PHOTOS.we looked up passport photos, saw that Walmart does them for $14. Walked in to Walmart and foolishly went to the "portrait studio" inside the entrance where they charged us $45 for ONE set of passport photos. No signage to say that it isn't the actual Walmart photo center. No price given up front. Had we walked to the back of the store, we wouldn't have been ripped off. Shame on us for not being fully aware, and shame on this business for blatantly ripping people off.

Do NOT go here to take a passport photo. I was waiting for 8 months for my passport (during covid), apparently my photo has been rejected by the passport office. Now I have to retake it, resend it, and probably wait for a couple more months to get my passport!

Absolutely horrendous customer service. They charged me $35 for a passport photo and the same day my brother went for a passport photo and was charged $30 for 2 people. I went back in to request a refund and the associate lied to me saying my brother price matched. Do they even price match for this? Nice try, called my brother he called the studio while I was there and called them out for lying, he did not price match anything. The person then offered to give me the photo for $20 but I clearly requested a refund and he finally did it. Just an FYI you don’t talk to customers like this. Very bad customer service. Top it off he made a comment that it’s not for everyone and some people should just go to shoppers or dollar Rama. I was in complete disgust at the customer service level here! Wow! Never again!

The lady was very good. 5 start. Great photos. Nice.
The man after tried to charge us 385$ as a 'special deal' for 9 photos. Ruined the experience. I said we'd leave it.
They gave us digital of everything for 135$ in the end.
I'd go back for the lady. But establish cost before hand. And leave and take photos with your phone if they start sales tactics.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE UNPROFESSIONAL SCAMMERS.
The lady here charged my wife $35 for a passport photo that wasn't even accepted, they ruined our whole trip because they don't know how to take passport photos.
Go to Walmart's photo centre instead, they'll do it for $9.99 and it always gets approved.

Where do I even begin. We had an appointment to take family photos and showed up 15 mins before the appointment as stated in the email. Upon our arrival the place was closed. We waited for about 25 mins before asking a Walmart employee to call someone for us. Once someone came out to speak to us we were told that they have been having technical difficulties and someone should have called us to cancel the appointment. At this point we were very disappointed because we drove all the way there with 2 young kids just to be told that our appointment should have been cancelled. The employee then told us that he'd only be able to take cash since the system was down. We agreed because I wanted to get it over with. We tried taking the pictures and realized it wasn't going to work since we were hoping for some family photos when in reality this place is only meant for stand still graduation or passport like pictures and with a baby and toddler it was nearly impossible especially with only 1 adult taking the pictures and no one else to get their attention while doing so. The gentleman working there was kind and apologetic and we understood that it wasn't his fault but we were VERY DISAPPOINTED AND FRUSTRATED. I will NOT be going back. Waste of my time.

Very unprofessional, charging more at checkout instead of what we agreed on.

We were taking passport photos and Chinese visa photos for our infant child. We were told the Chinese visa photos cost $20 (discounted after passport photos), and the price list is $30.
At checkout, the person told us that it requires an extra photo, so they charged us twice, which is $40 for the Chinese visa. We ended up paying around $70 + tax, which was not the original price we were told. Very disappointed.

Average place, good for quick photos. Didn't find the photographer too experienced with young kids. Does passport photos usually.

Passport photos are very expensive, paid over $100 for family of 4 (2 adults+2 kids). Afterwards we came for "FREE" photoshoot in studio that they gave us. Very poor quality of photos with no touch ups at. Only ONE digital photo was free and each one other cost us $30+.
Will never go back!

Unprofessional, told them to make baby photo with smile, they refuse, they told no smile. They told me I can't remove photos from envelope. I paid for it, I can even eat it. Will never come again

So, beware to deal with them, and beware to leave bad reviews, now this people harassed me

Fell for the passport scam myself. Walmart was close and I needed them done that day so I went in there. First time getting photos done so I was unsure of the price for them so when they told me it would be $34 I was like sure why not. I get home and the wife said she got hers done at staples for $15. Nothing like getting ripped off at christmas for 2 little less than wallet size photos. Walmart photo studio is the scrooge to my christmas this year. Shop around.

Update: Walmart is now advertising passport photos for $12.97 guess they got sick of all the bad reviews about their prices.

Extremely expensive passport photos. $33 for 2 photos is crazy. Go to costco instead, they do it for $10

So expensive cost me $33.89 for 2 passport photos for my 8 month baby, should've confirmed the price first but since it was in Walmart, compared to other locations it shouldnt be that bad, but after asking around THIS WAS THE MOST EXPENSIVE. Not worht it.

The quality of pictures were average. They didn't do any touch up. Very basic stuff like cropping and rotating were the only touch up they did on my pictures. They basically have a good camera and a small room for photo shooting. No props.
We were booked for a late session in the afternoon and upon our (early) arrival we were rushed into the room and were told that our time is very limited.
We had a package bought from them a while back ago and when we went to use it, they told us that they no longer provide any prints (which was the main point that we bought the package at the first point). After some lengthy negotiations we ended up getting an extra digital picture for free.
Overall, I do not recommend this studio for anything other than passport photos. It was a waste of money and time for us and in the end we did not enjoy the whole experience.

We were totally impressed with the quality of the service we received yesterday from Genna! She greeted us as soon as we entered the store and apologized several times for a slight delay. She was the only one in the store. Genna went above and beyond with her service as I find is becoming more rare in today's society. We had our toddler with us who doesn't always co-operate and Genna worked her magic with him and produced fabulous photos for us to choose from. She should be honoured for her hard work, positive attitude, dedication, and making customers feel like they come first! We will definitely be back to visit. Thank you Genna!

Got 3 kids taken passport photos in Costco, one of them is infant. After submitted photos got rejected by government, then went to Walmart photo center took photos but being told they don't take infant passport photos.

Came to this studio last week and took their passport photos again, $28 for each but the quality was much better than Costco. Photos all got passed and we got a free session for family photo. Thankfully we didn’t miss our trip because the passport photos.

I assuming for passport photos the quality is the most important, will visit this store again.

$28 (or so) for a passport photo (2 prints) which took 2 minutes to take. No touch or any other additional work required on it. How ever as I needed 8 photos in total I was charged for another $10 (normally they through away additional ones but if you need them, here you go, pay $10 and you got it!)
By the way I consider it totally my fault not to confirm the price in advance as expecting affordable price due to location (inside Walmart)
By the way we were two then twice painful!

Took our 9 month old here for passport photos twice (messed up first application lol). Both sessions were quick and easy, pictures came out great. Would recommend.

Great experience! I got my passport pictures done here last week and the photographer Genna was super friendly! There were 2 people there waiting for passports too and she helped everyone super fast. When I asked her about their packages she explained to me very well, will definitely recommend this place and get more in-studio photos done in the near future.

We came here to get passport photos taken. Lexy was absolutely amazing. In addition to being professional she was also very personable and so friendly. We will definitely be returning in the future for other Portrait Studio services. Thanks for a great experience Lexy!

I recommend Aurora Walmart Photo Studio for those who would like to have great experience, awesome pictures and wonderful memories, just like i had. The stuff is friendly, very helpful and so professional. Thank you very much Lexy, Jenna and Michael! You guys are awesome!

Kids had the best pass port photos taken here. Alexis was great with kids. Family packages looked great too. Will share more after we take the pictures!
