Sherif and his staff are incredible. Their attention to each patient’s needs is amazing. My daughter, sister and myself have all benefitted from Sherif’s extensive range of therapies suited perfectly for each of our needs. I was referred to PhysioCan through a local Facebook Group. I have been seeing Mahmoud for a few weeks now and he's really done wonders on my right shoulder. I was getting to the point where I was almost in tears daily with the pain. I'll be honest too, I wasn't sure if I "believed" in physiotherapy. Thankfully the sessions are indeed helping (TENS, cupping, scraping and needles) and I will continue with them as long as they help. Mahmoud is a great resource in this very busy office; although I've heard great things about all of the therapists here. The office is very prompt with scheduling and overall everyone is super friendly. Plus they offer direct billing which is great. If you're ever in need of physiotherapy I highly recommend this office. Thank you Mahmoud for making me shoulder feel SO much better already.

All the staff are very friendly and have a genuine concern to make you feel better when you leave. Mark and Alan go above and beyond each visit to make sure you feel better when you leave. I have been seeing Mark for 3 years now and everytime i get treatment I always feel great afterwards.

I travelled to Bowmanville from out of province  and unfortunately, I aggravated my symptoms of plantar fasciitis just before arriving to Bowmanviile. I contacted Sherif at PhysioCan and he immediately found time to see me that day. Right from that first visit, Sherif spent over an hour with me and alleviated most of my pain.
I spent 4 days in Bowmanville and Sherif saw me on each of those days. Not only did he successfully treat an injury I had been carrying for 6 months, but he sent me home with a long term healing and prevention plan to avoid worsening of my injury.

Let me be absolutely crystal clear. This is the best physio clinic in Bowmanville, in Clarington, in Durham, in the GTA, in the world. I will fight anyone on this topic. Sherif, Allen, and the rest of the team are sensational. I had a Latarjet procedure done in August of 2022, and have been seeing Sherif since. This was a major open procedure, and a huge lifestyle change for me as I was a competitive ultimate frisbee athlete prior to surgery. Sherif and his team have treated me with compassion, with dignity, with diligence, and with love. I would recommend anyone to go to Physiocan. I will never go to another physio clinic.

Sherif is a magician. Just over a year ago I came to him after getting in a car accident and breaking my pelvis. With the help of him and my chiropractor I was able to go back to work in 6 weeks time. I continue to go to him for maintenance and he continues to help relieve my pain everytime. Todays session especially worked out a lot of pain I was experiencing. I highly recommend investing your time in him as he will always make time for you.

Went in for multiple sports injuries. Family Doctors gave me medicines only. However, going there made me realize that physio helped heal my injuries while medicines were only giving temporary relief. Staff is very skilled and professional.

Sharif, Mark and Alan are all great guys! What a team they have a PhysioCan. I mostly see Mark but they are all wonderful. I have gone to see Mark a few times over the last few months for a couple different issues. He’s always so polite and a pleasure to work with. I had a broken shoulder and extremely bad nerve pain before I started physiotherapy with Mark - who agreed to see me on the same day. He has been systematically working on improving my shoulder and the results have been amazing. I have been going to PhysioCan for treatment for a couple months. They are amazing, everyone is so friendly and my physiotherapist Mark is a miracle worker. I was in a ton of pain today, called and they were able to fit me in for a treatment. Simply amazing with their treatments and my overall experience has been wonderful.

After 6 years of going to many chiropractors, RMT and physiotherapist’s I have finally found the perfect clinic. My experience with PysioCan was excellent came in here for Plantar Fasciitis after couple of sessions my pain got subsided feeling lot better now staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Mark, the physio therapist we saw and continue to see, is skilled, uses a variety of methods (not just one ie tens unit) and listens to your concerns and focusses on the real issues. He is engaging and empathetic. He gives great suggestions for post treatment. A very personable young man.

I honestly don't know what I would do without Mark. Between my career, and active lifestyle I've had his help treating hamstring strains, knee injuries, tennis elbow and tenosynovitis in my wrist.

The biggest impact Mark has had has been treating my tension headaches. Previously these required at least 48 hours of muscle relaxants, pain relief and rest. They could be debilitating at times and working through the pain and occasional nausea was rough. Mark's skill at treating these is still almost unbelievable. In one session, he is able to completely relieve these headaches. I no longer reach for any medication, I just reach for my phone to call PhysioCan.

My greatest regret has been not finding Mark sooner. I cannot recommend Mark and the team at PhysioCan enough.

Sherif is a natural. He seems to know exactly where the pain is without me even having to tell him. I have been to a lot of physiotherapist in Bowmanville and Sherif is by far the best. Update: Mark treated my vertigo with the Epley maneuver and my vertigo is gone! For the first time in almost 2 years I can sleep on my left side without the room spinning.

The clinic is amazing. I have struggled for almost 2 years with a terrible shoulder injury that led me down a very frustrating path using every treatment imaginable, with no real results. I was booked for surgery to repair the joint in early 2022, then I found Shereef and his team. He cares so much about his patients, like nowhere else I have been. Seems to treat everyone's injury as a personal goal for him to fix. I feel great, definitely not getting surgery and from someone who has been all over the GTA for treatment, I would recommend this clinic in a heartbeat. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease which left me virtually an invalid. I couldn't get out of bed without difficulty, getting dressed was very challenging and a cup or a plate were too heavy for me to lift. I could not raise my arms above my shoulders and I had pain in all my major muscle groups. Since getting physiotherapy from Marc at PhysioCan, I can lift my arms way above my head, my mobility is back to normal and I can do daily tasks that were impossible to do before getting physio. I would highly recommend PhysioCan.

Sherif is an amazing physiotherapist. He's also the owner of the clinic. To him, his patients come first. He's kind, empathetic and most importantly knows physiology and how to treat each patient for their individual problem. He really does take the time and genuinely cares. You never feel like just a number. I was referred by a good friend of mine to go see him. I've been living with constant chronic pain from an autoimmune disease and a bad accident that resulted in multiple injuries down the left side of my body. Some days the pain is excruciating. Sherif has been taking the time every visit (been about 4 treatments so far) to work on the pain and help me get some relief. He's always compassionate and caring and is determined to help ease the pain. If you need to see a physiotherapist, don't hesitate to see him. You won't be disappointed! All the staff there are also on the ball and you never have to wait more than a few minutes to see him. I've seen a few physiotherapists through the years but hands down, he's the best! I have been coming to see Sherif for over a month now for chronic lower back pain due to injury 5-6 years ago and already after a month I am seeing amazing improvements and every time I come back I notice more.
