Food wasn’t as good as last time, but we had fun.

Overhearing waitresses whine about their tips loudly was upsetting though.

Husband and I came here for our anniversary today and the food was absolutely top notch. Our server was so attentive and gave amazing recommendations as well.

Came for summerlcious I got calamari for appetizer it was very good hot and crispy main was meatball and rigatoni with 2 big balls it was okay could have been more seasoned imo dessert was terimusu quite good

So although it said online they had full availability I didn’t bother to make a reservation, but we got there and there were no tables left. They accommodated us at a high top which was surprisingly cozy. The service then on was just lovely. The manager and server were very attentive. The food was exceptional. I highly recommend the Bolognese and burrata. Dessert was yummy too. Good prices for “fine dining” so to speak. Lovely interior. No wonder this place is so busy!

Good good. The prosciutto was not chewable but the pizza was excellent. Food wasn’t ready at the same time for everyone at the table which is never great but other than that friendly service & good vibes.

Absolutely fantastic food. Great atmosphere. Best thing on the menu is the "Sweet Hornet" pizza. You have to order it, it's out of this world!

Servers are attentive and knowledgeable. Decor is beautiful. Food came out fast, and it was warm

So glad we got to try their daily lunch special. Food was AMAZING! Staff was FRIENDLY and overall we had a great time.

The food was ok. Our waitress snapped at us when we told her that we didn't want to eat family style. We had not been informed of this over the phone and had no idea. Eventually, everything got sorted out, but we didn't really feel welcomed. One waitress was much kinder though.

The food was okay, but I was expecting much more from what we had read in the reviews.

Went to dinner with friends and had high hopes of this place based on all the exposure it’s been receiving on social media. We ordered the taster’s menu and here’s how it went.all the drinks we ordered were completely watered down.immediate turn off. Being an Italian restaurant at least they got the pasta semi- right but literally every dish they brought afterwards was completely smothered in the same type of creamy sauce, even the brussels sprouts were swimming for their lives. The vibe from the servers was a bit unsettling and at times unwelcoming even to the point where she suggested that we should’ve looked at the menu prior to coming to the restaurant so we knew what to order. A tad bit rude but still nonetheless expected at 18 to 25% for the great service. Won’t be returning or recommending this restaurant to anyone ever. Can’t see it lasting past the social media hype.

We went to Piano Piano for Summerlicious, this past Friday night and it was giving very much down-to-earth vibes. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant. I felt chill vibes upon entering the venue.

The service was good because our waitress wasn’t overstated or pretentious. The food was really tasty. I really enjoyed the chopped salad (sans salami), along with the tortellini con bolognese. They had gluten-free options to boot.

I would say the carrot cake was a tad on the sweet side, but tasted decadent, nonetheless. As well, it was enough to feed two of us, so it was definitely a generous serving size. The soft serve ice cream was perfect.

Went here for lunch and the indoor seating was very quiet with a good amount of people. There is also a small outdoor patio but can be a bit noisy on the street. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The lunch special would be worth it although we got the regular burrata appetizer. It was so delicious but the portions could have been bigger portion for $19. Otherwise I had a great lunch, pizza was chefs kiss.

I went to Piano Piano for the first time for their 2023 Summerlicioius menu and I was not disappointed. We got there and had to wait for our reserved table for over 20 minutes but the manager was very sweet and gave us a little bubbly to hold us over and gave us a lovely table. For appetizers we ordered both salads, the burrata and the prosciutto and all were amazing. We then shared two pizzas and pastas which were also very good.overall I will definitely be back!

Beautiful restaurant interior-kinda funky in a super elegant European way. Loved it! Top notch attentive service. We went during Summerlicious 23. This can be a tall order for a resto. Great menu selections. Apps fabulous - burrata, calamari + artichoke fritti and prosciutto otto. Yum. Best pasta was mushroom cavatelli. Next time a pizza! Desserts were delightful.

Honestly really disappointing; the pasta is al dente but to the point where its almost crunchable, not at all enjoyable.had the mushroom truffle pasta and there was such an overwhelming truffle scent that ended up overpowering the dish.boyfriend had another pasta and the meatballs were dry and the pasta was also hard.the pizza and calarami were the only enjoyable things here

DO NOT VISIT, RACIST RESTAURANT! Extremely bad and rude service, the waitress who served us is racist. I have never been to a restaurant which we got discriminated. The waitress always disappeared even we made multiple eye contacts, she saw and ignored us. We asked to have the leftover be packed, she just gave us a box. Instead, we saw her packing leftover food for non-Asian customers and even gave them a bag nicely, while we only got the box and cover.

At last, when we are ready for the bill, we waited over 20 mins for her just to have the bill be split. When we check the bill, we found out she secretly added 20% tips to the bill with no reason. We were a table of 4 and the menu has clearly stated 20% tips will be applied for table of 6 or more ONLY. We argued with her and she seemed so “frustrated”. She immediately ran back to the kitchen and gave us the “right” bill within a second, but next second, again she disappeared for another 10 mins. We were so angry that we will need to wait so long to get a bill done and got added 20% tips on the bill without a reason and explanation, we think she did that on purpose.

Food was OK but pretty greasy. My stomach cannot held which I need to go to the washroom immediately. Food does not worth the price at all.

Please be careful and do not visit if you are not ready to give them 20% tips which they don’t worth it as well.

Do not believe someone who says this place is good for vegans. It was terrible. Had to leave.

Did the Summerlicious lunch on Sunday. My wife was eager to give the egg yolk ravioli a try and overall reviews were complimenting.
Great ambience, great food and great service. The Summerlicious trio is satisfying and worth every dollar spent. I took the buratta (which is half size for lunch special) which was flavourful, the mushroom pasta that was a tad salty but definitely reasonable and tiramisu as dessert. Same dessert for the wife, egg yolk ravioli is great though could use a bit less spinach (that tastes great but a little much) and prosciutto plate.
Overall great experience will come back.

What a wonderful gem. The 3 course lunch special is perfect. My server was so much fun, which is a great bonus when you're a solo diner. The food is super fresh, perfectly seasoned, and portioned to satisfy.

The chopped salad is so hearty and fresh with robust flavors. Piano Piano found a way for me to reconsider olives, which is a literal miracle. The Nutella tiramisu is incredible, and my pasta was so delicious.

Being famous for their pizza, I have 101 reasons to return soon to try one. Or two or three

Actually the food wasn’t too bad. I give this rating purely due to racism. I had been asked multiple times had I finished my dishes, could the take it away multiple times while clearly I was only half way through. And while the other tables who enter the restaurant the same time as me just got their main dish served, I was told my table would be taken away in 10mins. And I am the only table who the waitress can’t even bother to pour my water for me. If you don’t welcome non-white customers, please state it clearly before I enter the restaurant and waste my precious time and money on you.

Food was pretty good and the staff was very friendly. Great atmosphere and they have a nice private room in the basement for big parties, which is very nice!

Only good things to say about this place! Everything I ordered was super delicious! We got the Burrata Con Funghi, Canestri alla Vodka, and a classic margarita pizza. I would skip on the Brussels sprouts for the sides, but everything else was super delicious!

This was my anticipated restaurant. I was beyond curious to try out! What caught my eye was the Nutella Tiramisu because I originally had one in New York. I sat at the bar, and Brian (Bryan - apologies for the spelling) was amazing, friendly, and did multi duties being a bartender, waiter, and server. As a first-timer, the outside interior caught my eye, and the inside was not only warm and elegant but also simple and welcoming. It was very busy and I can see why reservations are recommended.

I decided to finally try this restaurant out after seeing all the hype about it online. I made reservations in advance and the restaurant was pretty busy. Immediately upon entering you will notice the dark, romantic mood created by the ambiance. Tables are candle-lit and the menus resemble newspapers which is always fun.

I had the Fun Guy pizza which was pretty good although too greasy for my liking. The silver cutter was a nice touch, emblematic of the establishment.

I also tried the Canestri alla Vodka, which if you are anywhere online, you would know is a popular choice. This dish was quite great — make sure to ask to remove the meat if you are vegetarian, like I did. I do wish it were more spicy though, but the flavours were good.

My last dish was the Eggplant Fritti, which in my opinion, was the best and most underrated dish on the menu. I still have dreams about the whipped ricotta and artichokes accompanying the crispy eggplant pieces.

Finally, I closed my meal off with the Nutella Tiramisu. This is definitely overhyped. As someone who has tried countless tiramisus all over the world, I was not impressed by Piano Piano’s rendition whatsoever. The Nutella taste was absent and the entire thing was pitiful.

Overall, the ambiance and service, as well as flavourful food (minus the tiramisu) make this restaurant a lovely choice for an evening out.pros:

I've had the privilege of eating twice at Piano Piano recently, and it's quickly become one of my favorite spots. Not only is the lunch delicious - but they make a mean Expresso Martini. In addition to the food, the service is wonderful (courteous, informative, conversational), and the artistic design is a feast for the eye. I've left fully satisfied in so many ways, and can't wait to go back again (and to check out the other locations!).

I wish I could relive the feeling of having the first bite of the ravioli over and over again. My mind was blown away. The filling is to die for. However, I'm not a huge fan of the egg yolk center (it was also pretty cold - just the egg yolk).
8/10 with the egg yolk, 10/10 without.
