Piccolo Grande Artisan Gelateria

Probably my favourite place to get Gelato in Ottawa! The Gelato is always high quality and delicious! (Portions are quite good too!) Whenever I'm in this part of downtown during the warmer months it hard not to stop in! Can't wait to stop by again this summer!

A must-try gelato spot in Ottawa. From sorbet to sherbet, they all have irresistible flavors. I ordered a grande with 3 scoops that cost ~$11, a fair price compared to the quality. I’ve been to a few shops but this would be my most recommended one, totally for an ice cream addictor like me.

Ice cream is not cloying and it is flavorful. I asked the ones that has less sugar, the server recommended the pistachio and hazelnut. I tried those and would come here again to enjoy again.

C’est ma place préférée pour les glaces à Ottawa. Quelle bonne idée pour y emmener ses amis pour un bon dessert ou un café! Les gelatos sont excellentes et chacun y trouve sa saveur préférée.

I live for the milkshakes here. You get a lot of anything you order so make sure to come with room for desserts

As someone who’s tried all the gelato spots in Downtown Ottawa, this is hands down the best one!

First Visit - Pistachio gelato and Raspberry sorbet was Absolutely amazing!
Second Visit - Mango and Vegan chocolate was a WOOOW!
Third Visit - Affogato! Vanilla and a shot of espresso! Loved it!

It really is a totally different experience than anywhere else. Loved it 20 years ago and I love it today!

Really great ices, I obviously haven’t tried all of them but the four we did were really very good. Thanks guys!

Yesterday I went into Picolo Grande on Murray Street.

• An accessible flat ramp from the street going down.awesome it easier for everyone.

Two employees working all of the gelato flavors were out on display each one was soft and creamy easy to pick up and put into the cup size.

I asked for medium size cup and picked out 2 flavors - Bacio and Ameratto both were delicious together ️.

I have not had soft Gelato quite like this since coming back from Rome.

Really great tasting gelato. In the heart of downtown Ottawa. A must try place for any lover of gelato and ice cream and any cool treat for the summer heat. It was quite busy however. So be prepared to wait, but in fairness, its totally worth it.

Amazing gelato, not too sweet. I had the pistachio and the hazelnut flavors in a cone. The place has nice calmer vibes, as it is nestled slightly away from the byward market. 100% recommend!

Piccolo Grande is a cornerstone of the Byward Market in Ottawa. It has stood the test of time because they do what they do really well.make gellato.

It is definitely one of the best Ice cream spots I have tried the mango and cherry were really good flavors!
