We looked everywhere for a Cuisinart flat blade paddle. Finally, Pickering Appliances popped up at a reasonable price. Delivered on time, works great, well done. Will shop here again.

Nish & Jason are both very personable, extremely helpful and I was totally confident working with them. Nish looked into my best choices for a Hepa Filter Unit and Jason installed it. Jason removed the old unit and left the area in a clean condition. If you're looking to deal with trustworthy people PICKERING APPLIANCE is the place to call.

Technician provided good service, very professional and friendly. Explained everything that happened. My washing machine was not draining properly. Full diagnotistic on the machine at reasonable price. Would highly reccomend

My husband and I have used Pickering Appliances at least 3 times since we have moved to Pickering eight years ago. Each time we sought help for our stove or our washing machine or just recently a new motor for our washroom fan we felt we were in the right place. The staff have been there to help support our stressful situation. They gave clear direction and advice to help us not only order the correct part but also help ease our worry or stress by clearly giving us direction on how to move forward to mend the situation! Their quality of experience is reflective in a way that made us feel confident we came to the right place! Thank you for who you are as a business and being there to help when we needed you!

Beware— their website is not up to date. If you order something that is out of stock or backordered they will not let you know. When you do call in they are not at all apologetic

in my case I called @ 1.5 months after ordering, was told I’d be called back, never was so I called back a few days later- the person who I spoke to was not in the office so they took a message and promised a call back. Fast forward another month and still no call from them. I called again and asked them to ship the rest of my order — they then SOLD the item that was supposed to be held for me and it wasn’t until I got quite upset with them (at this point it was 3 months since placing the order) did they pull the item from another brand new order to fulfil my order partially. It also took me calling them a total of 7 times — I only got called back once.

I asked several times to speak to a manager just to discuss what happened with my order. This request was repeatedly ignored and I never did get connected with anyone at management level about this.

The only consolation is they let me arrange the delivery courier on my own ($12) so I didn’t have to pay their ~$30 delivery fee and was able to save myself money. However, this was my idea. They never once apologized or offered anything to me to correct the issue.

Overall a very frustrating experience that had me regretting my want to support local; I would have had a much easier time purchasing from Amazon
They put the onus on the customer to make sure they are held accountable to provide the service/product. It should not be this way!

The product finally arrived last week and they seem to be the right items so rating 2 stars instead of 1 (sept 13; the original order was made in mid-May)

I finally got a call back from Pickering appliances following several attempts to contact them after not seeing any status of my order on their website for several days. I am hoping to quickly resolve the misunderstanding around this.

We have an old Cuisinart food processor that is decades old. Cuisinart has recently stopped carrying the parts. Thanks to Pickering Appliances, who had the parts in stock, we will continue to use our food processor. Prices were reasonable and delivery was quick.

So glad that I was able to find my mixer part here. Price was reasonable. Been shopping here for years. Definitely recommend going here.

After searching home depot and Canadian Tire without any luck finding the part I needed, I stopped in here and I'm so glad I did. I got the part in minutes without having to search through shelves or order online and put my project on hold while waiting for delivery.

Jayson was beyond helpful. After I was talking with him on one day, he realized that I had ordered the wrong part number. He took the time to call me, cancel the initial order and reordered the correct part, saving me the task of returning the wrong part. He went beyond what many would have done. Many thanks Jayson. I was unable to find where I could purchase a replacement bread pan for my Cuisinart bread maker. However I found that I could purchase one thru Pickering Appliances. It did take awhile to arrive but they notified me as soon as it arrived. I was originally going to go and pick it up but decided to have them ship it instead. Very pleasant and accommodating. Very happy with their service.

I am really surprise to see some good reviews about this company. One of the awful customer service in life, always promising a call back that never came. I almost spent a month for a part only. He always saying website is down and ext. I had placed the order last week and still not get the items yet i just called him and he said look like backorder and etc. I am not sure how he runs the business. Very rude with customer and using all bad words and threatening customer. I will not be returning this store I will do formal complaining about this store and urge others to stay away. Unprofessional and unorganized.

This guy had what I was looking for, knew a good amount of technical know-how about said item and recommended products that complimented the appliance I was there for.

Great place to get an appliance part local and they usually stock what I need. So I'll give them my business not Amazon.

Been using these guys since they were on Kingston Road over 20 years ago. It’s still owned by the same people and their service is great. After diagnosing the problem over the phone, Jason was able to bring the part with him and install it on the same day. Couldn’t be happier.

I ordered the wrong blender part online in error and they replaced it with the correct part very quickly. They were very helpful and polite and responsive. This store is a great way to keep appliances that still operate well out of landfill. The option to replace a part that is missing or broken is of great service in our throw-away society.

This place makes you feel like their doing you a favor, just talking to you. They rush you off the phone, and hang up on you without a bye, have a good day, nothing.very rude. Customer service is #1 to me.

Terrible service, wrong parts received, 3 months of false promises. Still have not received my parts. Should have just bought a new machine right off the hop instead of relying on this vendor.

Professional, courteous, knowledgeable. Fixed our dryer in quicktime. Jason knew exactly what was wrong, tested everything, and had all the replacement parts with him, just in case.
Will definitely have him back to fix our appliances.
On the initial phone call to him, jason was efficient, asked all the pertinent questions, and set up a convenient appointment to assess and repair our dryer.

Items received and were as ordered. Very fast service, Jay was kind enough to call me to correct a misapprehension I had over the order. I recommend this shop for it has hard to find spare parts at good prices.

Called to find out if they had a part for Samsung dishwasher. Said they had it. Sent my father in law to get it. Arrives and they don't have the part. Looks like a common complaint on here. Won't buy or recommend them to anyone.

My washer stopped working around Christmas time. I figured out that I needed a new lid switch and I came here looking for a replacement. Not only was the switch for my 15-year old Kenmore available, IT WAS IN STOCK! I was able to do the repair the same day! Kudos for that!

Terrible customer service. Whoever is working inside, doesn't seem to care about answering customer questions. Go elsewhere.

I called looking for a discontinued part for a refridgerator. The customer sales rep was borderline rude & rushed me off the phone. My preference is to spend my hard earned money on businesses that hire polite staff. Not recommended.

When I went. The person working behind the counter was not to interested in helping. He just wanted to order in what my husband was told they had in stock.

Called to see if they had a part for a kitchenaid dishwasher. He immediately says they have it. Arrived an guess what part they didn't have? You probably guessed correctly.

Very disappointed with the service. Placed an online order on Nov 26 and never received it. Tried multiple times to contact the company with no response. Will not be purchasing from them again.
