Michelle, the hygienist that was her name. I love how she went through everything detail by detail and was preparing me with everything that was happening and what was the next step. She was amazing, she made be feel very comfortable and listened to everything I had to say. I was in pain and she understood that.

I was able to get an appointment the next day as a new client with some pain I wanted to get checked out. The staff were all very respectful of the fact that I'm pregnant and did a variety of non-invasive tests and an exam that did not need to include x-rays. The visit helped ease my mind and I hardly waited at all to be seen after filling out my paperwork. Bonus points for being open and reachable on Sundays! I have already encouraged my husband to check them out for his dentistry needs.

The hygienists were really nice and explained everything really well. They gave me some great tips to help keep my teeth and gums healthy and explained anything that was happening with my kids.

Mixed experiences. Different hygienist every time, different dentist every time, even after requesting specific ones. My regular cleaning appointment took over an hour with a particularly slow hygienist that drew a lot of blood for no reason. Not going there anymore.

My dental hygienist is Florin and he is the best. I have anxiety and vertigo that makes my dental visits, sometimes difficult. Florin made sure that I feel anxious and less dizzy today- he even put a pillow behind my head and use two
Paper cups one for rinsing and the other for spitting water so I didn’t have to keep moving and feel dizzy. I truly, truly appreciate all these Florin

It was my first time there today and they were so friendly and welcoming. Looking forward for my next visit.

I had my teeth cleaned by a pro at 3: 30pm on Fri Ap19.
She was great, knows her craft. But I'm writing this review to acknowledge one of the receptionists.

She is certainly friendly, but she actually left the sanctuary of the plexi-protected front desk, walked all the way around to sit right next to an elderly gentleman who was clearly in need of a little reassurance and some info. Big smiles, eye-contact and & empathy is something I haven't seen demonstrated in a healthcare setting in quite some time.

It's just the dentist you say? There are a bazillion dental clinics.
This one is mine.

For the last 13 years this location has been where I go for all my dental care needs. I moved from Pickering to Toronto a year ago and still come here. Dr Joe Malayil and his staff listen to their patients and take care of him/her with great attention. Highly recommend you won’t be disappointed!

Best dental office I’ve ever been to! All of the staff are extremely friendly and professional. The receptionists, the hygienists and the dentists (specifically Dr. Joe M, who has been the one dealing with my teeth) are all spectacular. I stumbled upon this dental office by accident, and at first was reluctant because of the location (being in the mall food court) but I’m happy I ended up here as this is definitely going to be my new dentist going forward!

I’ve been going to Pickering Dental, for quite some time now.
Located conveniently in the food court area of …
Pickering Town Centre.

This Dental Office was highly recommended by my Son’s girlfriend
at the time, whose family had been going there … since they opened.
They gave great reviews and raved about the quality of care!

I have very high standards, and serious expectations … when it comes to mine and my family’s dental care.

From the AMAZING and VERY EFFICIENT STAFF, that greets you …
with utmost professionalism, and … very graciously welcomes you as friends,
… of the community, is the beginning ambiance!
They are friendly … kind and helpful, and go out of their way … to assist you,
as well as look after … all of your needs.

The finance department at this Office … are also willing to work with those,
who sometimes need extra time, to pay for their fees and dental work … accordingly.
They work effectively in accommodating you with scheduling that works around your working hours, and other commitments … as well.

They send out reminders prior to your appointment dates, either on line, or by calling you at home, and always ask if you need an appointment card with dates and times written, for subsequent visits.

They work very efficiently and are respectful and courteous to their clients, as well as their coworkers.

You are escorted into the individual dental cubicles, by the dental assistants … on time, every time! I’ve rarely ever gone past my arranged time, to be seen! The cubicles themselves are extremely well kept and clean!

There are personal areas to hang up your coats/jackets and purses … in the individual rooms as well. Rather then in the general area where everyone comes and goes. Having this security is also welcomed.

The dentist who was helping me was good but the management of the clinics are the worst,
I used to go there for few years when i was living in Pickering and when i had to live outside of Pickering they told me that i can’t come anymore!
I was i a real pain and i had to find another dentist and couldn’t take an appointment.
They weren’t even saying sorry for that behaviour.
And i had some other situations where they didn’t help me in a polite way.

The team here is amazing, I came in on a Sunday with a dental emergency and they took me in right away. Very grateful and impressed

Best experience I've EVER had at a dentist in 40 years! Dr Joe Mayayil is a miracle worker! Never really felt any pain for a tooth removal and filling and he makes you feel at ease, his dental assistant Natalie is always very friendly and makes you feel at ease, all the receptionist are very friendly especially Linda. If you need a dentist I highly recommend coming here! 10 stars everyone!

Who really likes going to the dentist?
I know I don't but we must if we want to keep our pretty smiles and healthy gums and teeth
I must say after my recent dentist retired and I was going there for 20 years I was needing to find another dentist which is NEVER easy
I did alot of searching and checking out reviews and I came across Pickering Dental located in the Pickering Town Center
The receptionist I had was amazingly wonderful her name is Christine so right away I was satisfied before even seeing the dentist
The hygienist I had was Carmen and again she was amazingly wonderful and answered all the questions I had and made sure that I was comfortable and doing ok
Than I met the dentist and she was equally just as amazingly wonderful

Thank You Pickering Dental for making my visit amazingly wonderful even tho going to the dentist is NEVER fun you made things good while I was there

I'm beyond pleased with my experience with Dr KIANA Shojaei and her assistant KAREEMA! Even though I have fears of being at the dentist they both put me at ease. Dr Kiana was so good I didn't feel the needle and they were fast and thorough and so professional! I'm so grateful and my tooth feels just fine after the filling. What a great team they are! Thank you!

Front desk ladies were amazing, and the Dr along with his assistant.top notch. My 14 month daughter face planted on ashphalt while walking, she busted her lip, bled everywhere and her lips were so swollen we couldn't see her top front teeth; thinking it had all broken off. When we arrived to the office, they rushed us in for the assessment ASAP. Luckily, the swelling had gone down. The Dr reassured us all her teeth were intact and that its all minor tissue damage to the top lip. We were so relieved. The Dr gave us alot of information to prepare us for possible issues moving forward, but thankfully, my daughter has fully healed after a week. Thank you for being so empathetic and so kind. You guys rock!

Today My Daughter Whom Has Extreme Aniexty Had To Get Her Wisdom Tooth Out. Dr. Joe Malayil Made Her Experience Not Only Quick And Easy. But He Is A Wonderful Dentist That Was Talking To Her Through The Whole Procedure. Thank You So Much And We Will Be Back. Highly Recommended.

I was referred to this dental practice by my mother who is a patient when I was visiting from the UK. I had pain from a failed filling which was done in England and upon investigation needed a root canal. Dr Bencak and his team were extremely kind, gentle and accommodating. They bent over backwards to fit me in and complete the work quickly so I could fly back to the UK on time. They explained every stage of the procedure and I felt very comfortable during the whole process. I can’t recommend them enough and have passed their details on to several family members. Thank u again guys!

I went to the Pickering town centre dental office today after having a tooth fall out. It was my first time attending at the office and it was a great experience. The receptionists could not have been nicer and dr. Bencak was very approachable and pleasant. He answered my questions in a very nice way. I am returning there next week for a procedure and I would highly recommend this clinic.

My husband and I were at the Pickering Dental office at Pickering Mall for the first time and i was very surprise how the people were very friendly and professional. The place is a very clean and all their equipments are upgraded machines including the Xray. Kathrine did a great job cleaning my teeth with a gentle hand and explaining in detail as she cleaning. My husband also had a filling and wisdom teeth out and he was doing great within 12 hrs no discomfort at all. Going forward, I am recommending my family and friends

This is a great dental clinic. Their covid safety protocols are excellent and the dental care itself was gentle and painless. The dentist and hygienist are friendly and take their time to get to explain everything. Prices are fair and they are on top of booking you in for your next appointment and calling to remind you of it a few days before. I recommend this clinic to anyone looking in the area.

Amazing professional dentists, I have been to a lot of dentists and this is by far my favourite one. They took care of me in a professional and healthy manner I was anxious at first but was relaxed to see how they handle their patients. My x-rays were completely painless unlike my prior experiences. Their prices are the most affordable you will find out there. They give quick appointment dates and operate every day and take all precautions to make sure you're safe and in perfect condition when you leave out of there! 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing a dentist. They welcome new patients as well!

Service was impeccable. They made my two kids one 6 and one 4 feel very comfortable. Zara, Tracey and two others (so sorry I can't remember their names) were super friendly. I'd definitely recommend them. And they did a great job providing the service we went for.

Love Pickering Dental and my dentist Dr. Joe Malayil! I been going there for over 10+ years and received the best of care. Joe is my favourite dentist ever, and although I’ve moved several times, (am now 1 1/2 + hours away) I have no plans to go elsewhere. Joe is personable, caring and and an awesome dentist. For me, he is worth the drive to Pickering!

Saw Dr. Malayil for years and had a really pleasant experience each time. I'm usually pretty nervous about dental appointments and feel anxious sometimes but I found Dr. Malayil to be very reassuring and comforting, while still being professional, and always felt at ease with him. Rare to find a dentist like that!

I had an extraction done here. The dentist Dr. Malayil did an excellent job, I didn't feel a thing.

Horrible place. I missed my appointment and she sent me a bill for $30 which I'm not going to pay. I never will go to this place. Christine is very rude. I found myself a better dentist. Seeing the reviews I'm happy that I didn't go.
