Dr. Musaji is excellent! I have been a patient of his for 10 + years. Today I had an urgent matter. His receptionist was able to give me a cancellation appt. The area of his practice at the end of Liverpool is a nice area where parking is complimentary 2hrs.where you scan in
easily from your cell phone. I would not hesitate to recommend him as he is always consistent with giving thorough exams and takes care in the best way. I am truly grateful to have him as my eye Dr. Thank you Dr. Musaji

Receptionist was incredibly rude. Doctor refused to provide PD (even though they took the measurement), withholding the information because I was honest and transparent about my interest to buy glasses online. Doctors should be a doctor first, not a salesperson.

All I can say is wow, what a caring and plesent man Dr. Musaji is. My wife got an exam for her 1st ever pair of correcrtive glasses. When Dr. Musaji heard my wife has epilepsy he recomended a peripheral video test. After we got her progressive lenses she could only see out of one eye to read. Dr. Musaji re-tested her eyes, checked the lenses, everything was correct but! My wife has some vision loss in one eye from her epilepsy and it happens to be just in the spot where she would read with progressives. Recomemded a single field of view lenses instead for reading and desk work. The whole time he patiently explained what he we doing and how to adjust to using glasses for a first timer. Thanks so much.

The doctor is thorough and fantastic. HOWEVER the old receptionist there is incredibly rude, I needed a voucher to be reviewed for my glasses and she rudely denied the voucher in a condescending way so that other patients heard my confidential information.

This is NOT the first run in I've had with her, I've been coming to Dr. Musaji for over 5 years and when she was hired she tainted my experiences. I beg she's not in went I visit the doctor. Horrible, rude, unprofessional, highly stressed Receptionist. She's the older receptionist. The young ladies there are great. Others have noticed this as well, customers don't need to be treated like this. She should be fired!

Please be weary of this when making a visit.

My husband and I switched to Dr Musaji a few years ago and are so happy. He is soooooo kind and caring and thorough in his examinations and explanations. My mom and many other friends have switched as well and we all appreciate the professionalism and kindness of Dr M and his staff. Sorry this review is not regarding the doctor. I did not even get a chance to see the doctor. Called after 10: 30 in the morning, someone picked up the call and dropped the receiver right away. Called back again, responded with a sleepy voice that the doctor is on vacation and will be back next week. While asking for availability, I was put on hold right after saying I am just turning on my computer. This is so unprofessional from a front desk staff.

I hung up, called another place and booked an appointment for the same day. FYI - Front desk is the face of the company.

3: 00pm on a Saturday afternoon, we have company over for a pool/BBQ day and my husband is miserable. He's has had something in his eye all day and flushing just wasn't working! He can't go any longer. He needs to see someone ASAP. I work for an Optometrist but it's downtown and we're in Pickering. So our friends recommend Pickering Eye Care and thankfully they agreed to see him right away. My husband was really impressed. The doctor had to freeze his eye (I think) and he was able to remove a piece of plastic that was really embedded. Hubby was back home to join our company within an hour. We are super grateful and wanted to say a big thank-you to everyone at this office.

Been going to Dr. Musaji's for years. He's very polite and explains things clearly and thoroughly. Never had a problem with other staff members. Highly recommended.

I currently play soccer for the Canadian Womens National Team and I've been going to see Dr. Musaji since I was 4 years old. I must say that I have never found an optometrist that cares more about his craft and what his patients have to say. I currently just qualified for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo this summer, and recently just went for my annual check up at his new office on Glenanna, down by the water front. Dr. Musaji and the Pickering Eye Care family is always so welcoming and constantly provides me with the best care possible. I appreciate everything he has done for me and definitely recommend him!

I've never had an optometrist like Dr. Musaji. He took time to answer my questions and explained it all clearly (get it!). I accidentally came in to order frames 2 minutes to closing one night and the staff still accommodated me, which I appreciate.

My family and I have been going here for 15+ years. It used to be a really good clinic in the past, but the service has really deteriorated recently. Here's some observations based on my most recent visits:
- The new receptionists are not nearly as organized, competent or personable as the old days. They are cold, distant, rude and interact with you as if it's a burden or hassle. They don't really seem to know anything either. Almost everything is, "You talk to Dr Musaji"
- Appointments are sparsely available and the appointment time doesn't seem to mean anything. My wait time the last few visits has been over 1.5 hours after the scheduled time - meaning I had to wait over 1.5 hours after my scheduled appointment time.
- Appointment booking process seems way unorganized. I'm booked for appointments that are forgotten. I've gotten reminder calls for appointments that I had cancelled. I've gotten appointment reminder calls for an appointment I made just earlier the same day.
- Consistency of follow up and management of contact orders is sloppy. Orders made aren't really followed up on. The receptionist incorrectly ordered contacts and a sample when she was supposed to order only samples - then to add insult to injury tried to pressure me and guilt me into buying the contacts before I had a chance to try the samples.
- Dr Musaji is polite and personable as usual, but is burning out. He's managing way too much. He seems to be doing majority of the appointments himself and is trying to train the staff himself also.

I really hope they take this review in a constructive sense and try to make changes before they lose the loyal customers who have been coming here for years.

I have been going to Dr. Musaji for years. He is an excellent optometrist. Takes his time and listens to all of my concerns. I highly recommend him!

My family has been going to Dr Musaji for almost 15 years. I find Dr Musaji a very personable and a caring Doctor. He goes above and beyond to care for his patients. In mine and my family’s 15 years of interacting with Dr Musaji, I can confidently say that Dr Musaji is a very professional and caring Optometrist. He has always been kind. My parents don’t speak English very well, Dr Musaji has always been patient with them. He endeavors to explain his findings to them in a way that they understand. As I stated, he is one of the few Doctors who goes above and beyond his call of duty. He is great with my children, and has been seeing them since they were 3 years old. Thank you Dr Musaji for all you do. I would absolutely and confidently recommend Dr Musaji in a heartbeat! If you are looking for a good eye doctor, Dr Musaji is the one you want to go to. He is the best Optometrist, in my opinion and experience. The absolute best!
