Pickering Urgent Care Walk In Clinic

Only visited a few times over the years, but the staff is always courteous. I didn't have to wait very long. The doctor was very insightful and gave good advice.

When you call them, the automated msg says they're open Mon-Sat but online it says they're closed all those days.as well the operating hours aren't the same as online but it was updated 4 days ago. I called again to hit the number to speak to the receptionist and double check but the automated msg changed and didn't give me the option to do so. Can someone please clear this up? I'm supposed to go in at 2 on Monday but wanna make sure they'll be open.

Walked in at 3pm they state they open at 2pm was told they aren’t accepting anymore patients as the line was wrapped out the door (there was no line and only 2 people in the waiting room) absolutely useless place don’t go here go else where avoid this place like Covid

On Monday evening I had a virtual appointment with a doctor from this clinic who went absolutely above and beyond for us. After frantically explaining how ill my 4 year old son was and saying that I thought he had an ear infection with a mound of other symptoms she asked if there was a walk-in around us that could examine his ear before prescribing medication without knowing. I told her that none of the clinics would even touch him as he also had flu symptoms (but tested negative for covid) she instantly asked for him to come in to her clinic even though she was already running a virtual clinic of her own just so that she could ensure our baby boy was being treated properly. I absolutely hail this doctor for going above and beyond in a world where your just thrown medication in hope that it fixes the potential issue especially dealing with our child. She was so thorough and so kind for taking him on-on top of her already over filled plate. I do not know her name but if someone at the clinic could let me know so I can add it to my review. She definitely deserves the recognition. I believe she’s Trinidadian and my sons name is Anand.

Entered at 3: 47 on Tuesday when they are open until 7, the latest time of the 3 days they are open, only to be greeted by a sign that they were not taking any more patients for the day. There were only 3 people in the waiting room. How on earth is any employed person expected to see anyone here?

The staff and doctor were so lovely and helpful. Took my toddler in to check his ear and he was very being difficult, but the doctor was so patient and kind. I’m very glad I visited this urgent care clinic. Highly recommend.

Took my daugther here for an ear infestion. Was seen right away and the Doctor was amazing with her.

They stop people from walking in an hour before close.
Also doctors dont tend to arrive until a half hour after open. But there will already be a line up. Best time to go is when they first open. Bring a book to read. U will be waiting a bit.

Dr Tirmizi is an amazing Dr. Very reasonable wait time, Very friendly staff. Be kind to your health care workers. They are doing the best they can with what they are given and mandated to do. Take it out on the government not the Heath care workers.

While the clinic is by no means "large, " they're very efficient in how they operate. Add the fact that the doctor who attended to me was quite professional and knowledgeable; and it's easy to see why so many people go there.

I usually try to go without any prescriptions, unless absolutely necessary. This turned out to be one of the necessary moments; and it was exactly what I needed.

Terrible. You book appointments and when you go there is no record of it. Terrible admin staff. Not organized.

Anna the secretary was amazing, I was able to see Dr. Abdallah she was so attentive to my situation great service & great Drfeel alot better the next day

The wait was a little longer than I would have liked but the doctor was thorough and followed up after my ultrasound very quickly.
Wish they were accepting patients.

Hello my dad says he is happy with the treatment he is getting, and he is thankful he has the help he needs. I thank you as well for helping my dad.

Relatively long wait when I went which isn't uncommon on a Saturday. The registration desk was friendly and efficient, and the doctor who saw me was very thorough and kind - I'll take the wait for the great staff here!

Went in to get my eye looked at as I had something in it, Dr. K tried and tried to get it out but he couldn't get it. He then refered me to an optometrist, long story short I had to go to another specialist who finally got the embedded piece of metal out of my eye. But the most surprising thing of all was that the day after my visit I received a call from Dr. K who was checking to see how everything worked out, simply amazing service!

Very appreciative, Doctor Abdallah has done more for me in 3-4 visits than other family doctor's I've had in the last 15 years. I've been signed up with a diabetes center, a nutritionist, physiotherapist and back with a sleep clinic. And yes it's been a busy year. Wish she was a family physician as my one retired but outside of that she and the clinic has been great during this pandemic.

Dr krishavji late on a Saturday morning by 1 hour. Why would you say that the clinic opens at 9 am when the Drs. Like late mornings.

The receptionist always takes the white ppl first. And then says they registered and left but while I saw them register right in front of my eyes.

Been going here for 10+ yrs, everyone is friendly and helpful to the best of their ability. Occasionally, the wait times are ridiculous but after registering, you can leave and come back without fear of losing your place in line.

Does not care that they stop taking patients 3 + hrs before they actually close. (her words)

Lazy woman at intake desk let me stand there for 5 minutes before putting her cell phone down and coming over to tell me they are closed (6: 50 pm, close at 8: 00pm and waiting room was empty.

She said she “doesn’t care “. When I told her how this may inconvenience people coming here and I would leave a review.

That is TWICE this has happened to me there. (Same woman “working”)
Never going again.

First visit I waited 2.5 hours because only one dr was working. They called me back for test results. Said come between 10-4 on friday.so I got there at about 10: 30. The place was PACKED. The receptionist ignored me at the front desk for about 10 minutes before rudely saying "hi". I replied politely, "hi how are you? " I then said I am just here for results to which I was told I would be waiting. I said, ok how long and she couldn't tell me, just in a rude tone informed me there are 20 people ahead of me. I will never come back here! Who waits 2-4 hours for results when they called ME back!

This is the worst doctor's office. It's closest to my house so I was desperate with two little ones. I would rather drive to Scarborough anyday before going here again. After I left their office in total confusion that my son have asthma? I took him to a pediatrician. Never in his life had he ever had problems breathing. He just had tight airways from the flu. These doctors are lazy! Go somewhere else don't waste an hour waiting for useless info and treatment.

Worst clinic I've EVER been to. First visit: 5 patients in front of me and it took 2.5hrs to be seen. 2nd vist showed up at 830 for 9am opening and its now 10am and no doctor has even shown up to the clinic. What a joke.

Worst clinic 3 hour wait time is normal, it is messed up. Rather go to emergency. Never again in my life will waist 3 hours of my life here.

DON’T. BOTHER.would’ve rated 0. Website says they close at 1: 30 but if you’re not there before one they won’t see you. Worse, they referred us to a clinic up the street that also closes early, and isn’t an actual walk in.

Save your time and go elsewhere.

Always is busy, they don't care if you have a real emergency, they have a short schedule from 9: 30 to 11: 30 if you came after, forget about it, they won't give you attention, the doctor leaves at 2 pm it doesn't matter what.

This place shouldn’t even be functioning with how slow they are. There’s only one doctor that’s in most of the time and the weight times are RIDICULOUS. There should be a rating for 0 stars. Do not go here.

Dr gave me the wrong diagnosis with wrong medication! He made me suffer for many days until I went to see another doctor in other clinic. He did not wear gloves neither disinfect his hands before touching my eyes for his 2 seconds examination. He did not use any medical instruments for examinations. No wonder he gave the wrong diagnosis! With only 2 patients ahead of me, we all had more than 1 hr 15 minutes wait. Staff were not polite. Suggest not use this urgent care!

I came in with a terrible stomach pain, while one lady was telling me the doctor would not be able to see me until 3 PM, it was about 1PM, another angel lady came through and said they would have to call an ambulance and take care of me while waiting. The ambulance arrived in less than 10 minutes and I was examined and medicated by two extraordinary paramedics, Alex and Sara. I had pancreatitis, next day I had to have surgery and thankfully I am recovering from what it seems to be a pancreatitis due to gallstones.
That same angel lady called me a day later to follow up and see how I was doing. Thank you!

Lazy doctors who dont want to work. Place was EMPTY at 2pm and they refused me and said they're not accepting anyone else. This isnt the first time I've experienced this here. Will never come back and will never recommend anyone. We get it, you're rich and dont need to work. But some of us actually rely on caring doctors. This is the 3rd place in Pickering I've tried today, 5th since yesterday and cant get in anywhere.all Indian doctors, all the same results. Noticing a trend in this city. Time to move!

I have come twice in a span of 2 weeks and both times the doors are locked. I get hours may change without notice, however when speaking to the staff it is clear they do not really care about the people who need assistance.

Family run business without the family dynamics. Even if they are open, I would not trust them with my children!

Waited almost 3 hours while I watched the reception let new patients who just walked in go ahead of me. Grumpy receptionist. Not recommended.

I've come to this walk-in clinic several times over the last 10 years and have never had any complaints. Yes wait times are long if you go in the evening, I think that can be expected in any walk-in clinic, but I have always found the doctors to be friendly and thorough. I've been able to get in and out within 30 minutes every time that I have visited in the afternoon

This walk in clinic is an absolute disgrace to the public. The front desk staff and receptionists that work there are ALL absolutely rude and discourteous and show no level of professionalism and courtesy when dealing with patients. It is being alleged that this clinic is shutting down in February 2019 however, this clinic has put no transition plan in place for properly notifying patients of this closure and giving patients the proper notice and time to look for a new family practice should it shut down. When staff are asked about the potential closure and the implications of this on patient health care, they rudely communicate that they do not have any answers. You are potentially shutting down in less than a month and you have no answers to the public about the transition plan and what steps can be taken to get a new family doctor? To be honest, the Ministry of Health should shut this place down and find an entire new team of doctors, staff and office manager who actually care about the patients they serve and actually want to provide good quality health care to the public to run this clinic. This clinic is the reason why many sick people would rather stay home and be sick than go see a doctor because they experience such horrible treatment in health care.

If it was possible, I would give this location zero stars. I came in at 11: 45 am, requesting to see a walk-in doctor, and they promptly turned me away, saying "they weren't taking any more walk-in patients" for the day. It was 11: 45. They closed at 3 PM. Ridiculous. The lady at the desk was so rude, and didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. I'm definitely going to be switching my family doctor to a better practice with more individuals that are willing to treat their patients like people.

Walked in at 437pm when they’re closing at 6. Receptionist with a sour look on her face says they’re not registering any more patients for the day. 90 min before closing with like 10 people waiting?
I’ve been to this clinic a few times before, with more people waiting, never had this happen before.
And honestly, I’d have been less disappointed if it weren’t for the terrible service at the desk. Like wow - this is health care - if ever there was a situation that could use a little sweetness and kindness, it’s a clinic. *sigh*
Anyways, 2 stars cuz I’ve had a reasonably decent experience here in the past, but how you treat people is everything, and I’d say I won’t come back here anymore when there are numerous other walk ins nearby - will see next time I need a walk in.
For today I went over to the telemedicine walk in on Glenanna Road, like a minute away. I called ahead and the gal who answered the phone was super polite and they’re open later - so fingers crossed for better experience!

This practice claims to be open at 9am, but it’s not. I have been waiting for almost an hour (first ones here) and the doctor has not arrived yet. There no empathy here for having a young child waiting. Do not come here. Zero stars.

Nothing urgent about this place

They are nice and doctors are good, just waiting time is 2hrs in everage and sometimes they close at 6pm even is posted at 8pm or close at 2 and is posted at 3 or they dont even open at weekends and is posted they are open. My husband is coming from work at 6pm so I can take kid after 6pm but they are closed. The other way is to take all 3 of them and to wait for hour or so and there is no play area for kids either. I mean to bee seen by doctor there is very dificult and is always just one, so it goes very slow.
