Pickering Village Ice Cream Shoppe

I use a walker so use entrance through the courtyard. Unfortunately the door is hard to open on my own.

There is entrance way I have to step up/down in height quite a bit without assistance with walker going in/out of business.

Variety of flavours. Prices are fair. I think its under new management, which means the personnel has changed and not in a friendly happy way.

Went in today and met with an older male behind the counter. I am not sure if he's the owner as there is always teenagers working there. He was RUDE. I was sad I had to leave without buying ice cream.

Went there for the first time in over a year. Not sure if ownership has changed but the size sure has. Smaller portions now served with no love. Not worth the money.

Always used to go to this place back in the day. From what I remember it was nice and pleasant to go for ice cream. But going now the place itself feels outdated and needs to come into the present with the decor. (They are selling random decor for some reason by the way) But the ice cream is very good just wish they modernized the place!

What a nice I've cream shop in a quaint little village. Was nice to try some different flavors like grapenut. And to sit outside and just enjoy. Definitely recommend this hidden gem.

Not the place I remember it used to be. The ice cream portion sizes have gone down while the prices have gone way up. No more free samples either to try out a new flavour. Also I found it bizarre that all the employees were still wearing masks while well past the pandemic and mandatory masking. Makes me think they’re either sick or have something to hide.

Very yummy ice cream. They have a wide variety of flavours, some of which are very unique. They also carry some Kawartha ice cream. There’s also a courtyard where you can sit outside and relax.

The owner is rude and this will be the second time he's shown attitude to customers. Why? I wonder too! Not returning here.

Despite the large crowd on Saturday, the atmosphere was calm and inviting; the court yard feels homely. The ice cream shop have your taste buds going long before you start eating. Just delicious. I will be visiting very frequently this summer. Check it out!

What a cute little shop! There are so many flavors, but nothing beats regular chocolate and sprinkles for me. Loved it!

Quaint little ice cream shop, nestled in Pickering Village. The ice cream was fresh and delicious. Reasonably priced, a little on the high side but worth it for the ice cream and to support a small local business. Good selection and a variety of options so you don't have to break the bank on ice cream if all you want is a small taste. Be prepared to spend a minimum of $5 a person but if you're into special cones and more than 1 scoop it will add up fast.

Lots of flavour options! I always struggle to decide what to get, even though I’ve tried them all! So good!

Note: Due to covid, you’ll need to enter from the back entrance and exit from the front.

I am no longer living in Ajax, ON. I now live in Toronto and I still travel to Pickering to get the bets Ice Cream. I only when I have extra cash and my Wonderful Nephew George takes me, Usually walk out with 6 tubs of my favorite GRAPENUT the only place you can get it. 3 scoops in a tub for $11.00 Good deal.and the Ice Cream Does Not Taste Like Powdered Milk.
For me this is in ONE sitting, this is me pampering myself before and during COVID-19, I would clean and change my bed linen, get myself a MANI/PEDI and binge watch my favorite Movie/TV shows.
You can get 3 different flavor in the same tub.the ONLY thing I don't like is that they OPEN at 1400hrs 2PM.
But what the Hay it's worth it.
If you live in the area even if you don't please try it. We don't want these Small MOM/POP businesses CLOSING so HELP when you can.

Very disappointed that this store doesn't have sugar free icecream. One flavor? Not good enough

Great place to go and treat your self some ice cream, they have various flavours to choose from. I Really liked that they have Kiddie scoops from 1-3, and your regular 1-3 scoops which are pretty decent in size, even if you are gettting a single scoop. There's a great patio outside, back of the store if you're wanting to stick around and enjoy your dessert.

Love this little gem. Great selection which includes Kawartha Dairy ice creams. (There's also a freezer with small tubs of Kawartha to go!) You can also get a milkshake of any flavour of ice cream:).

It's got some wild hours. When I saw it was open I had to turn around for it. It was worth it. Great ice cream

Very expensive.
Was extremely grossed out last time I was in there, guy that was working was sitting at the cash, on his phone and picking his nose.
