The food is as good as the other pie wood fired pizza around.always good. The patio setting is pretty basic (nothing wrong with it but might need a little Reno in my opinion. The staff is super friendly!
I love Pie Wood Fired Pizza Joint. The service was amazing. All staff were kind and helped us immediately. The food was delicious - some of the best pizza I have ever had. There is a variety of options on the menu - something for everyone! Special shoutout to Mitchell, thanks for being a lovely host who was always entertaining and funny. We appreciate your friendliness.
Usually delicious sour dough bread. Unfortunately, a few slices into the latest loaf, I found that it had not baked all the way through, now no bread til Wednesday, when they open again
I personally love a good pizza and my boyfriend and I were going to pass by this place on the way back from Don's Bakery! This is how we ended up buying a pizza for each of us
The staff were very friendly and kind when we were there with regards to ordering takeout.
I'm docking a star because my pizza seemed overly salty at every point Not sure why especially because I already had the bacon on the side! The crust itself was probably really good had I not eaten the vast majority of it the next day.
My boyfriend really enjoyed his though and because I'm dumb, I didn't try any of his despite the fact that he offered me some I'll definitely be back to try more menu items though as the saltiness could potentially be a one-off experience!
Good pizza, salads were good too, meatball sandwich could use a bit more sauce- overall good food. Service was just ok, the waitress we had she was a bit rude/not friendly at all.
Amazing little place at the end of Southwood 13 road off hwy 11, motorcycles paradise for many years so when you get to the end of it at 169 right on your left will be just amazing pit stop for some good food, highly recommend
I couldn't have liked a pizza more than the one I had here. I inherently am a meat lover, however the Veggilante pizza was the best gastronomical experience my guts (pizza loving) have ever had. The pie was rich with flavor bombs going off with every chew. They had garden fresh veggies and the crust was heavenly. Since we were headed on a camping trip had to rein in my culinary desires of trying a meat topped pizza. But hey this will certainly make me want to come back for more. Good Job guys
Had my daughters 3rd birthday party at Pie last night and we invited 20 people. We went in not knowing what to expect, but Joanna really helped us out. We explained to her what we were envisioning (sit down dinner, pre-selected menu) and she explained to us 2 options on how we might want to organize our party. She did a price comparison with us and we ended up ordered a la carte. We also got the private room which worked out perfectly for us! On the actual day of our party, Amanda was our server and what we loved most about her was that she let us know, in her honest opinion, what we should get more of or what we should be fine with, in terms of quantity of food. We have no complaints, the food was EXCELLENT! Thank you ladies so much for making our daughters birthday so memorable! I apologize for all the plates we used up! =)
We visited this place today on our way to the Torrens Barrens with the idea to take the pizzas to go. I asked the lady who took our order if there was a picnic area at the Torrens Barrens. She said no. Whìch was correct. I paid and the payment included a 20% tip. Because she said there wasnt a place to eat at the TB we decided to eat at the restaurant. She came later and said we were not supposed to change our minds and eat at the restaurant. I am confused. And I wouldn't tell that to obvious new customers. The pizza is excellent. The attitude.not so much.
Pizzas were great. Tasty and fresh. I love actual wood oven since it adds a lot of flavor to a pizza. The dough was cooked perfectly and tasted great. White sauce pizza also was really good. They can definitely work on the service and their menu had some mistakes. The restaurant was super cold up to a point were we put on our jackets. There was only one server and she forgot could stuff. They are very nice and I will be back here. Highly recommended and hope to see they improve.
My friends and I just dropped by on our way back from Arrowhead. Until that time only catch was mention of wood fired pizzas. But what amazing food man. A must try place if you guys are into exploring new flavors.
Great place to get a great fire cooked pie. I found that it was closer aligned to more European style of pizza, which to mean was a thin base that was fully cooked and crunchy, just enough sauce to not overly salt the pie, good amount of cheese and veggies that wouldn't overload and fall off. The patio we sat on was right beside the road but it wasn't overly noisy with the passing cars. We did see a train pass by and that was a fun experience. The restaurant is adjacent to a brewery you can visit as well, but if you are looking for a good pie, that won't make you feel bloated and gross on a hot Muskoka day, then this is a great place to try out. I'm looking forward to returning.
I incorrectly posted a review for another restaurant for Pie and felt the need to go back on and rectify this! I love Pie and am heading there tomorrow.totally love their Pizza! My apologies to Pie owners/staff for previous wrong review.
Pizza was delicious and I squeezed 2 meals out of it. We did wait quite a long time for both pizzas to come out, if you're hungry NOW definitely don't go during dinner time.
Decent pizza, tried the margherita. Also tried the dough balls appetizer, which I prob wouldn't recommend (didn't have much flavor, was just fried dough).
Better than expected. I usually don't like thin-crust pizzas, but these were good. The toppings were ample and seemed nutritious (good for the kids). The servers were pleasant as well. FYI: There is a railroad track nearby and the trains make loud noise when passing by. Overall, I had a nice experience and would like to return.
This restaurant used to be amazing, but seems to have gone downhill a bit since last year really. Staff are still friendly, restaurant hasn't changed all too much, but something seems to have changed in the kitchen. I can't really describe what it is, but the food isn't the same anymore. I really love the pie Wood Fired joint franchises, so I visit every location I can find wherever I go, and this is the only one that seems to be obviously different in terms of food. But it wasn't always like that, so I'm not sure what changed. I travel to the Barrens area quite a bit, and this used to be my dinner stop every time, but not anymore. I'm still probably going to give it a shot next time I visit, but if I really really hope the kitchen goes back to the way it used to be. It would be such a shame otherwise, because this is one of the best restaurants you can find in Torrance (maybe even the best restaurant).
You will enjoy a phenomenally delicious pizza here! The crust is thin and tasty, the ingredients are fresh and you can always create your own version. When we order it to go, the pizza is ready in 7-10 minutes and it is always great to chat with people around while you wait.
