Bro this was 18$ for the two and was like the worst pierogis I’ve ever had. They were bland and had no taste, it was also like half raw and doughy. THEY WERE ALSO SOGGY AND WERE OVERALL SAD. I would not recommend this place, its a scam.: (
The food is amazing but I wish there was some sort of Lunch Combo that had a bit of everything instead of committing to just Pierogis, Schnitzel, or Sausage. A meal with 2 perogies, 1 Schnitzel, 1 Sausage, 1 salad would be perfect.
Delicious, well-prepared food, at great value. The staff are very friendly and perform great service. I've tried many restaurants in Waterloo and Pierogi House is in the top 5. Tastes and feels like you're having a home cooked meal.
My family always enjoys the great food from Pierogi House, and the customer service makes it a top notch experience. Our favourite is always the potato and cheddar pierogies, and the sides are also high quality. Pickles, beet salad, and cole slaw are all in our regular rotation.
We’ve always gotten our food quickly and with a smile, and when a recent order had a minor mistake the management went above and to make sure we were satisfied. We will be back again soon!
I ordered from Uber Eats & everytime I order they always give me these cute thank you notes & this time they even gave a little cream fudge! They just have sweet service & generous with their servings/toppings! ️
Stopped her for dinner a little while back and got a dozen pierogis with beet salad and coleslaw. Everything was great and very tasty. The price was fair. Great alternative for a quick dinner instead or usual fast food fare. Would recommend checking it out.
The food was awesome. Had different types of pierogi's and they were to die for. Would definitely recommend this place if you love great food. The staff were excellent.
Pierogi house is the greatest dinning experience I’ve had in years. The worker I believe she said her name was Camila was a delight and served us with the best attitude ever. The pierogis themselves were indescribable we had the Pulled Pork Pierogi. I fell in love with pierogis. I am definitely going back soon. If I were the boss I would give that girl a raise she was fantastic.
They say home made Pierogis but they sure don't taste home made.the fillings are blend.could use some more seasoning in the potatoe and cheddar ones. I prefer to buy the frozen bag ones they got more taste and when fried they get that nice crispy outside with the delicious potatoe and cheese. I don't personally don't recommend it.
Although it looks good in the photo, these were some of the worst pierogis I’ve eaten, the flavours were just bland. Also the staff was not friendly at all. We also thought we’d try the dessert pierogis and we were very disappointed. They were still frozen and inedible.
Their food is always great and service is nice, but its so noisy inside that you can barely hear what they're saying and they can barely hear you. Spent 20 minutes waiting for a refund after they overcharged me because of this.
These are the types of businesses we need to be supporting during this time. Quality food at a great price. I order from this location a few times a week while I'm at work. Never, ever have I had a bad dish. Thank you guys and girls! Keep doing what you're doing. Because what you're doing, is amazing.
Such an authentic spot! The Pierogis are heavenly delicious! I believe it is so far best comfy food i had. Their salads are also very unique and delicious.
The number of high reviews is surprising to me. I went once and left because the attendent was so unbearably slow. I did end up going back, and the perogies were FINE but were not really anything special (like the price would suggest). In fact, they all kind of tasted the same (we got 4 different kinds). Not worth the price when there are huge burritos two doors down.
My friend and I were happy that we could meet up here and sit outside to eat now. Service was fast and friendly. I went with 3 cheddar potato, and 3 broccoli feta perogies. Love their side salads, too. We left full and satisfied!
First time visiting this location. Nice and clean, super helpful and friendly server, and food was delicious. Even better that I could bring some soup home.
They were out of a couple toppings when I went (bacon! How can you have pierogies without bacon?). Food was decent quality. I'd say portions/quantities are a bit smaller than I'd expect for the price, but not bad. Maybe 1 more pierogi in a combo would be perfect? Other than that, a good place to stop in for dinner.
The service was great, the location was clean. I was underwhelmed with the selection of sides and toppings. I would love if the cheese was browned on top - and other options for sides.
I opted for the snack pack - 4 for $5.99 because a meal with 6 was over $10.it was definitely not good value.there was almost no filling which was disappointing.
Between my boyfriend and I we got almost everything on the menu and it was all delicious! We didn't even know that pierogies could be this good. The homemade sauerkraut, coleslaw, and other salads were also amazing. Definitely check this place out!
Way over priced. I've made hand made pierogis before and these tasted worse than the frozen ones at the grocery store. They were soaked with oil which was really the only flavour you could taste other than the toppings of bacon and onions. The sourkraut was horrible and other "salads" are basically just different pickled assortments. Too bad because I love hand made pierogis and would pay the 20$ a dozen if they were actually good.
