Pierogi House

I was very disappointed in the taste of the cheese pierogy they had no taste. I tried the blueberry ones and the test was better. Maybe I will try another flavourful. For the price I wasn't impressed.

First time ordering from here and it was delicious! Very filling and not a horrible price for what you get:) will definitely be returning and recommending this place to everyone i know!

After a very disappointing burger from a food truck on my way home from Brantford I decided I'd get Perogis and the new menu items (schnitzel and kolbasa) to make up for the burger that I took one bite of and rewrapped and set on my passenger seat. Perogies were good but could have used a bit more cooking.the bacon that was put on top tasted like boiled pork. Tasted as though it sat in the table insert for hours with no real bacon flavour. Schnitzel was alright but really thick and mostly just tasted of fryer oil, kolbasa was absolutely nasty. After taking my order the one worker said to the other " don't worry about the kolbasa we have some already made" tasted and looked like it sat in grease for a long time and looked nothing like the picture. I added sautéed onions to both the Perogies and kolbasa. Texture of slimey mush, again like they were cooked yesterday and left on warm.
I had high hopes for my $27 meal tonight as I have ordered from here before and really enjoyed it. Massive decline in quality since I last ate there. I really wish this wasn't the case since I'm eastern European and grew up on this type of food and loved the fact I could get these menu items for take out.
Sadly I won't return again.
It's also sad I spent over $50 in an hour just so I can get home and cook something edible.

The pierogis are delicious. My wife also loves the cheesecake, she thinks it's not too sweet like other cheesecakes out there and it has a unique texture and taste.

Nothing tastes better than fresh hand made food served by caring staff. Pierogi House in Kitchener is a great little place with the best pierogi's to amaze your taste buds. I was so impressed on my first visit I even took home two frozen bags with two different flavors. You will not be disappointed with this culinary experience and the ladies there can easily be mistaken for your family.

Generally I would rate it 5 stars, but the customer service, and overall demeanour displayed by the only staff working was different today. Usually you guys put a lot more care into my food, and it justifies the price, but I walked out a little disappointed today

Great pierogis as usual, but the cole slaw was a little dry this time. That won't stop me from returning!

Hands down one of the best restaurants in the area. The food is always great, the girls are always super friendly and the service is always fast!

Came here for lunch with a family member. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection, ordered the meat pierogi + cheese/potato pierogi with all the toppings. They were cooked perfectly, great flavour, and generous amount of toppings. Will definitely be back for more!

Went for a 1st time for takeout.wow, that was really good!
Had the 6 with 2sides x 2 to double share sides. Had it pierogos with everything - it was awesome! Thank you to Zee** (whom I spoke to) & the other kind woman from Kitchener!

I've tried this place three times. I don't get the appeal. It tastes like the frozen perogies I buy at the grocery store. Avoid the sauteed onions they're burnt to ****.

Stopped in for lunch since I wanted to try something different. The staff were very friendly and the food was great. I will definitely be going back!

Place is average and very pricy for the portion sizes provided. Wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

Pierogis are great here, but I was not impressed by the service. We went in at 7: 30 on a Friday. The older woman on the grill looked over as we entered and let out an audible sigh and rolled her eyes. And continued to do that for everyone else that came in, commenting rudely that there was a long wait for bacon, like we shouldn't even consider ordering it.

Last I checked, the store closes at 9. If you don't wanna work that late, change your hours. Doesn't build a very friendly atmosphere when your customers mood is ruined the second they walk in.

I ordered from the website and the food arrived 90 minutes later completely cold. Called the store and they told me to contact their delivery people that it was out of their hands. Very poor customer service.

Clean spot, fast service, tasty food. It hits the spot when you have a pierogi craving, which my daughter did for lunch today. The woman working here today was fantastic with me and the kids. Really appreciated it as we were all a little hangry when we rolled in there. The mushroom and sauerkraut pierogis are great.

Stumbled upon this amazing place during a visit to Cambridge. I had an assortment of pierogi flavours with all the toppings and they were absolutely delicious. I added on a side of the pickled beets and pickles and would highly recommend. You can also purchase bags of frozen pierogis to take home! Will definitely be back next time I’m in the area:)

The moment I walked in I was greeted with a friendly, welcoming smile. Layla was professional and went over the menu with me. The food was fresh and delicious. Restaurant is spotless clean. I highly recommend checking this place out! You won’t be disappointed.

Really good food! Ordered off skip the dishes. Was amazing! The coleslaw is so yummy and the beet salad! Everything is home made!
