My friends and I had an exceptional dining experience at Pig & Chick!

We ordered honey butter fries, cheese sticks, original and spicy jokbal, original tteokbokki, and a boneless half & half featuring soya garlic and a new spicy/sweet flavor. The portions were generous and reasonably priced, easily satisfying the six of us. The jokbal and fried chicken were definite highlights - they were both fresh, tender and juicy, complemented by a delicious array of banchan.

The classic soy garlic chicken is a fail-safe choice, while the other flavor we ordered, a sweet/spicy BBQ blend, was equally yummy.

Our server, a knowledgeable and attentive lady, ensured our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. Our friend loved their house-made pickled radish, so she was happily refilling our table with them. When it got busy, she still came around to our table asking if we wanted more refills on the radish, hehe.

We had a great time here - great food and impeccable service. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

All my family loved the food and the staff at Pig & Chicken. I recommended you order onion rings and bibimbap, but everything is super delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Ordered original golden fried chicken (half, bone in) and the jokbal combo (half original half spicy). Food was delicious! Kids enjoyed the original jokbal while the parents had the spicy version. The fried chicken was a bit dry in a few pieces but flavour was good.

Service was very attentive and the owner (I think) was very nice. She had cartoon themed cups for the kids, which they enjoyed (as we all know, water tastes better in a Frozen cup!).

Hubby and I have dined at this Korean restaurant on a handful of occasions and have never been disappointed. The owner/chef used to own a restaurant in Itaewon specializing in jokbal (made with pork hocks). They also specializes in Korean fried chicken with house made sauces. Hence their name: Pig and Chick.

Portion sizes are good, and prices are reasonable. The Jokbal on rice was a nice shareable portion for hubby and I, along with fried mandu during our first visit. Hubby (who normally is averse to any meat with fat on it) really enjoys their jokbal as it's not oily and they have rendered down most of the fat from the pork hocks.

We ordered the jokbal platter (original, and half spicy/half original were both delicious) on subsequent visits with family and friends. They provided a number of house made banchan including pickled radish (they added yuzu juice which was a refreshing touch!), and lettuce to wrap around the jokbal pieces. We also tried the boneless fried chicken in spicy/ sweet, as well as soy garlic flavours, and both were really good.

The staff are genuine and helpful. Parking is available behind the restaurant. I love that Pig and Chick is located along Main Street Unionville, giving visitors more ethnically diverse food options.

Loved the honey butter fried chicken! The prices were good for the amount of food you get, especially the side fries. Our order came a bit late due to some mix-up but waiting was ok. There was a photo booth inside for $10 which also cute and fun.

Authentic Korean cuisine, with a relaxed atmosphere. Really enjoyed the Korean fried chicken- both crispy and juicy at the same time. We also used pickup service and everything was packed nicely

This was a nice surprise on Unionville Main Street! Food was great, ordered the chicken wings, ramen and tteokbboki. Was a great comfort meal. The restaurant itself isn't so special decor-wise, but food makes it worth it.

Personally for me, it's rare to find Korean restaurants ran by Korean owners until pig and chick showed up. I've had multiple items on their menu and they're amazing as always. My favourite go to is the boneless chicken in honey butter flavour with a can of coke.
I much prefer the chicken here over other places I've been too because the honey butter is honestly to die for but the customer service is definetly an added bonus, the owner is such a sweet lady and everytime I'm there, she takes time out just to chat with me.
They also sell little snacks and knick knacks, very handy place to grab pocky on the go, there's also a photo booth with cute hats and costumes, a nice little souvenir to take home.
All in all, this is one of my favourite regular Korean restaurants and definetly my regular restaurant for fried chicken. I've brought many friends over and they enjoy it as much as I do.

Come by on Wednesday for their $1 wing special:) ($1.10 for flavour), definetly worth it. Happy eating fellas

Had the lunch special, it was a perfect amount of food for myself, chicken was cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside juicy on the inside, service was very good offering recommendations and telling me about the business. Overall I would recommend to anyone and I will be back soon!

I’ve only ever had fried chicken for takeout but it runs on the dry side although the taste is good. The pickled radish today tastes like detergent and rancid at the same time - like when soapy water goes bad? Might be worth it to check the batch.

We only ordered fried chicken, so this rating is only for the chicken.
I didn’t like their fried chicken because the inside is tasteless. We had soy garlic and honey butter flavours and the outside of the chicken pieces are actually not bad. Overall, I’ve had better KFC at most other Korean restaurants.

Cute little restaurant at the end of the alleyway. Was able to call ahead of time for a large group, well worth the visit. Fried chicken was crispy, ramen was flavourful, appetizers were tasty and meat was tender. Parking, if you can find is right next to the place although it's used by other establishments in the area as well.

While touring Unionville, I saw a Korean restaurant, so I went there.and it tasted just like Korean pig's feet. No, I think it tastes better than Korea.

Literally the best chicken bowl I’ve ever had! Chicken is usually very dry at other restaurants but this was some of the most tender and well seasoned chicken I’ve had so far!

The food is delicious and the service is good. I missed delicious Korean food while sightseeing, but the chicken was really delicious and the service was good. Must go

Food was amazing. Their chicken is dryer then other Korean places. Not a knock, in fact I enjoyed it more because of that, but want to level expectations if you go in expecting a juicer chicken. I Want to come again so I can try their other food. Great place!

Pretty bad fried chicken, tasted super sweet and was stringy.frozen costco fried starters. Had to ask for hot sauce three times. Many better Korean places in Markham.
