I have been a Pikto customer for over 18 years and it's time I leave a review because this company continues to impress me at every opportunity. Not only the print quality is excellent, the online ordering system keeps improving and is very straightforward, but also the customer service is friendly, accommodating and definitely focused on customer satisfaction as proved today on the phone after missing a savings opportunity. Thank you Pikto, I sure am not taking my prints anywhere else!

Just received our 11”x14” Premium Layflat Hardcover-Portrait coffee table book. We used professionally taken photos and the pikto printing did a beautiful job with them. The coffee table book is beautiful quality! I highly recommend!

Once you’ve experienced the quality of Pikto, you cannot go back! I have done multiple photo books and prints. I find their website user friendly. I enjoy the selection of products they offer. They always have sales too! Pikto also has great customer service. They have always gone above and beyond to support me with my questions and orders. I will continue to use Pikto first as my printing service before anything else! And their Canadian too! Eh!

I've been using Pikto the last couple years to create annual photobooks of my son. My first reason for choosing Pikto, is the print quality is very good and the advanced online editor easy to use. All my family and friends think highly of the photobooks.

The second reason is the ability to customize the photobooks. It's great to be able to select the photo layout, paper, ink, inside cover colour, and cover finish. They also support FTP submissions, so I'm looking forward to try that out too.

I decided to make photo book for a birthday and didn't leave myself much time. Pikto customer service was excellent - they were able to print out the book in a few days and even arranged for delivery day of (my initial plan was to pick up thinking it would be faster, when it fact, they made my life SO much easier). They were so so helpful. The quality was also amazing and most importantly, it was a great birthday hit. Thank you Pikto!

I'm so impressed with the layflat album, thank-you cards, and prints I ordered from Pikto. The photos all turned out beautifully, the binding on the album *actually* allows the pages to lay flat, the linen fabric on the album colour is awesome, and it was all packaged SO carefully to ensure they would ship safely. Very happy with our experience. Ordered a last minute Father’s Day gift and it arrived ahead of schedule. Pixto’s customer service reps got in touch with me immediately and let me know how I could upgrade my shipping to make sure it arrived in time. They also went through the book with a fine tooth comb and pointed out any typos/errors to be approved by me before printing. The book is even more beautiful than I imagined. The hard cover is soft, almost rubberized. Feels like a very expensive fine art book. Pictures are beautifully printed. Very, very happy. Will order more ASAP

I couldn't go home for the holidays due to COVID, so I decided to get holiday cards made for the first time and I am extremely happy with how they turned out! The print quality was crisp and clean, even though my photos were taken on my phone. I believe the cards look better compared to the huge stationary companies like Shutterfly. I will definitely be using Pikto again in the future.

I just received my photobook from Pikto, I have been trying to find a Canadian company to order from and was happy to discover them during a Holiday sale. I ordered a Premium Hardcover-Landscape-8.5x11, with the Satin paper and a Matte finish cover. I am honestly stunned by the results, it is absolutely beautiful. It can't even be compared to anything I have ordered elsewhere. It looks very professional, and each page is high enough quality to frame and hang on a wall. I am so, so pleased and will definitely be ordering from them again. I did use their print profiles through Lightroom and am quite happy with the results. Thanks Pikto:)
PS - there isn't a blemish on the cover, that was just a weird reflection in the photo of it.

We purchased a IRO hardcover linen photo album of our wedding and are delighted with the heirloom quality. Our only comment is that it would have been nice to choose from different font styles for the embossing. Thank you for your craftsmanship!

After spending months researching where to print our wedding album, I found Pikto! I cannot stress how happy I am that I did. Using a combination of the easy and advanced album editing choices, I designed our dream album that turned out incredible! The print quality is great (colour and clarity), the pages thick, and the lay flat/album cover feels luxurious. I would not hesitate to use Pikto again or to recommend them to anybody!

BG: Professional graphic designer, have worked in professional printing company, and have been photographer for around 10-15 years. Also have experience in web development/coding.

Wife and I ordered 2 copies of a photobook, 1 as a gift and 1 for ourselves. After opening the editor, I was disappointed to find a very clunky online editor. Finding imported photos was an absolute pain where you had to scroll through your entire photo bank one photo at a time and peer at tiny little thumbnails. There was an extremely limited amount of preset layouts. I hoped to have a collage of about 5-7 photos on each page, but the presets only allowed for a very boring grid pattern. I decided that I would lay out the collages manually. From there, the editor was frustrating to use at best. Photos would snap to align with center or outer edges of each other (and still be a pixel or two off), but there was no way to evenly space the photos, which I'm sure you understand would be important. I spent about 5 hours over a few nights placing each photo manually, more or less guessing if they were aligned properly.

Upon finishing the layout, I did a page-by-page look through of the book to make sure that I didn't miss any photos and that everything was aligned. During my first pass, I saw a few photos misaligned by pixels, and adjusted them accordingly. Some of them fixed, some of them refused to align. I cut my loss and continued on. At the end of my first pass, I saved the document. I then did a second pass and called my wife over to sit beside me and together we flipped through the book. She loved it, so we sat together and flipped through it AGAIN. This is 4 passes where nothing was wrong or missing. After we confirming together that everything looked good, we sent the order through and paid.

Upon receiving the books, my wife and I were confused to find one of the pages missing 3 photos from both books! I checked the Pikto website and sure enough, the 3 photos were missing from that page in the digital spread. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and figured it was a system error, so I sent customer service an email outlining the issue and asking kindly for the book to be reprinted since it wasn't an issue on user end. Their response? They wouldn't reprint it free of charge because the spread online was missing the photos.

I told them about my process and my professional experience, and also about the witness I had sitting next to me when we sent the order through, and they still they wouldn't reprint it. They offered a discount on reprinting, but you can understand why that's not good enough. They also said that they could give me a full refund if I sent the book back, but why should I have to cover the cost for shipping back THEIR mistake? There was an error with their system and that should not be the customer's responsibility to make up for that.

I tried to reason with them and said If they can agree that their staff are professionals, and I can agree that I am a professional, then that means we have both done our utmost to make sure the photobook was as desired and to spec before completing our parts. That means that the error is left up to an digital system that does have a chance of failing, like any app or computer program does. But if it's Pikto's system that fails, then they are responsible for compensate for the error, NOT the customer.

Pikto has falsely promised quality and professional service when they can't even be bothered to check their spreads before sending documents to the press, and are not willing to make up for their errors. To sum it up, the quality of the books is okay at best. Their online editor is frustrating as all hell, and you'll spend hours doing manual alignments. They don't send you a proof before print, so if you make a mistake, or even if they do, you're gonna have to pay for that. There are much better companies around for your photobook needs.

At the time of writing this, it's been more than a week with no response from customer support regarding my reply that was similar to this review.

I am over the moon about my experience with this company. I had been planning a special gift for my husband but my photoshoot had to be delayed due to Covid. They were able to provide a rush job with the highest level of professionalism and a quick turn around for a reasonable charge. So great to support a local company and I will use them again. A real first class company.

It took several days to create and the pikto team was very responsive. They reviewed and guided me to make sure the project was a success.

During the most stressful time for a lot of people with COVID-19, I have to say that the professionalism, quality, and ease of use creating these albums was absolutely spectacular. I gifted all of them for Mother's Day and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. I made a wedding album using Pikto's services and the book turned out amazing. I ended up trying a few different websites and Pikto was my favourite. The tool is easy to use and by far the most customizable I have seen online and the quality is amazing. I will also mention that their prices were nearly half the cost of some of their competitors. Ordered a hardcover iro photobook for my husband's and my wedding anniversary - 58 pages, turned out really beautiful! The quality, clarity, and colour of the photos are amazing!

I placed my order Apr 2 and received it Apr 23, while it states on their website it takes about 5 business days to process and ship time, I would advise to leave yourself a little more time, as it was a little delayed. The company was very easy to call into and was able to provide updates about my order, however I am not sure why they would use Canada Post to ship when they know there are delays.

Although I had a longer wait to receive my product from PikTO, I am very happy with the overall product and would highly recommend using them again!

My wife and I chose to use Pikto to make up wedding albums for our parents as a Christmas present. The experience we had was terrible. When the albums arrived, both were completely mixed up, with photos meant for one album scattered between both. This of course meant that we didn't have the correct albums in time for Christmas. When we contacted Pikto to rectify the mistake, it was like pulling teeth. We had to constantly hound them, the process was unclear, and only after submitting multiple photos of the issue did we get anywhere close to a solution. Giving them a 1 star because in the end we finally got our product, but we will never be using their services again.

I compiled a hard cover book of family photos. The program was easy to use. The quality of the book was amazing - the colour and clarity of photos is true to the original photos, I was so impressed with the way the album turned out.
