Pilot Coffee Roasters

A coffee shop located within shouting distance of a Starbucks, Le Gourmand, and Dark Horse Espresso. Seating capacity is very limited but service is quick and friendly while the drinks and pastries are competitively priced.

I wanted to go to a pilot coffee place because the smell of coffee is good from outside. However, it's an insanely lackluster place. Mediocre honey chai latte, super watery. The single espresso was decent but the service and 10 dollars spent on awful latte with the espresso made the experience disappointing.

Excellent staff was here on a business trip to toronto and wanted to try out the local coffee scene. Google told me about this location of pilot, walked in with a open smile, and was explained a full in depth informative scene about the range of coffee Pilot carrys. Highly recommended if your looking for friendly staff, and some delicious baked goodies.

Got the Cappuccino and it was really good. The beans were good. Might be my new spot for coffee during my visit to town.

And of course the staff was really welcoming!

So glad pilot opened this location. I've only visited during Covid but I assume it will only have a few bar stools when it can open for dine in. Coffee is always good, consistent.

The person who served me at this location wasn’t too friendly and the chai latte I ordered definitely did not make up for it. I’ve been to several Pilot locations and the drinks just aren’t to my liking and it doesn’t give me the caffeine that I need to keep me awake at work.

People there don't seem to be enjoy serving coffee. Been in there a few times, before I called it quits.

This spot is ideal. Not too large, not too big. Just concerning it might get really cramped up when it hits peak hours. There was only one barista working. Hoping they put more.
The hot drinks hold up to their other locations. And offer coffee beans, cemex, cold brew cans and coffee cups.
My question is, why was the barista so un-welcoming. Straight to the drink.
