Steven is amazing. I used to go to an expensive salon in Yorkville, but a friend suggested I try Steven at Pin Ups & Pompadours. The staff and the service is top notch. Have referred my friends and family who all love it there as well.

My entire family gets multiple services from Pin Ups on a regular basis and I can’t say enough praise about how professional they all are and always with excellent results. Michelle is our stylist and she is fantastic. She always does an incredible job and takes such care. She is the type who will always make sure her clients are happy with her work or she makes it right. Come to her and you won’t be disappointed. She will make you feel and look like a million bucks! She is an exceptional person who works in an exceptional salon.

I was very disappointed with Michelle I chose to get a haircut because I saw a lot of positive reviews. When I went to dinner after the haircut, first my husband noticed that a small section of hair was longer than the rest. Of course I said it should be the angle problem, but continue to have other friends told me the same problem, I found that it was really irregular. I felt very helpless at the time. Why did this happen? That’s why sometimes the reviewers get confused with the actual results.

It all began with my teenage twin boys, who had heard positive reviews from their friends and cousins. As they transitioned out of First Choice and were looking for a salon to meet their expectations, Michelle and Tieran both stepped up to provide the right suggestions, helpful advice, and amazing cuts that kept them coming back in their chair. Tieran and Michelle are so kind and professional to my sons; always going above and beyond. As a busy mom, I loved having the convenience of booking appointments online, and with the boys’ hectic schedules, it is great to be able to find convenient times that work for them. Because of the excellent service my sons receive during each visit, I decided it was time for me to make an appointment. Wow! You can tell the staff genuinely care and are extremely passionate about what they do. Michelle treats her clients with individualized attention - and through personal consultation, she helped me achieve a look that is right for me, while respecting my wishes of “not wanting to go too short”. I have always been insecure about how fine my hair is, but with a few of Michelle’s tips, tricks and techniques, I left the salon feeling confident and extremely happy. Also, I think it is important for me to mention how Pin Ups & Pompadours came to the rescue during a recent dilemma I encountered, after ordering two human hair clips from a company in the U. K. The colours online did not resemble the actual products I received, so I was unable to wear them. With a no return policy and after calling over a dozen hair salons, asking if they could colour match the hair, they all refused stating, “Sorry, we don’t do that here! ” That’s when Pin Ups & Pompadours stepped in to save the day. Marion worked with Michelle and Cindy to precisely match the hair. I was in awe; feeling even greater respect for Pin Ups & Pompadours, who were up for the challenge, while their competitors blatantly refused to help. I could go on forever about my 5-star experience; from the Keune Care Satin Oil and hot towel treatment, to how amazing my hair looks and feels now. But, you need to experience Pin Ups & Pompadours for yourself. Hands down, the best salon you will ever go to!

I had such a pleasant experience here! The girls were just so nice, and I felt so comfortable instantly! Not only that, but I was happiest with my nails I've ever been, and won't go anywhere else!

I moved to the Whitby area last summer & couldn't manage the idea of running back to Toronto just for a cut. Then there was Steven. It took me long enough to find my last stylist, so expected a bit of a journey - but when I was in a pinch, Steven was there to take care of things & even made sure everything was perfectly to my liking before we were done. Haven't looked back since.

Booked an appointment online for next day slot with Michelle. Had an idea of what I was looking for and Michelle was able to more than deliver! She is a goddess! She took what I wanted and my lifestyle and skill level (none!) and created a cut that I LOVE! As a busy Mom, I always throw my hair in a bun, but now I want to wear my hair down and show off Michelle's awesome work! Thank you Michelle for helping this Mom feel more like herself again!

When I went here to get my nails done for the first time, I had a wonderful experience. The staff was very kind, and I ended up leaving with new acrylics that I’m very happy with. 10/10 recommended going to this salon!

We bring our 4 year old son here to see Cindy. She does an amazing job and is so patient with him. His hair always looks great and we've never had a bad experience. Definitely recommend!

This was the only place I could find that does childrens hair and nails. My daughter had a wonderful experience with Cindy and Sarah and we even got to meet a dog! Will be coming back again.

Another great visit to Pinups and Pompadours! Friendly and welcoming. A terrific haircut and style and a first time mani/pedi for my daughter. Both Sarah and Cindy engaged with her to determine what was right for her and make her feel special.
