Pine Knot Golf & Country Club

Place is very outdated, food is below average and too over priced, had chiken fingers took and felt really bad after it.

Sorry but I am not coming back!

Great condition, and pretty challenging. Plays pretty narrow and can be difficult to score well. Good price on the twilight rounds especially, but you can definitely lose some balls out there.

Had a small family tournament, and the team at Pine Know was absolutely awesome. They made everyone feel like they were more than special, and the course, as always, was in truly great shape.

Course was in good shape, but the bunkers were horrible! Rocks throughout the sand, some bigger than a golf ball… crazy…I hate using a new Vokey wedge in that crap…felt like throwing a few of the rocks into the rough, so their equipment gets treated like my clubs.

Good golf club for early access to golf.open most of the year in some capacity and well-maintained course for it being early spring.

We went to there for play of golf in this year at first. Even though remain ice and some snow, u can play of golf as we did.

Not overly long but some very challenging holes and always well maintained. Greens are some of the best around. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. One of my favorite courses to play.

First time at Mulligan's Pub. Nice reception and friendly staff. Only ordered appetizer but was very good. Would like to go back and try some entree's. Stoner

Great experience!
We had small group rounding this Saturday. Dean and their amazing staffs set up the game for us!
Their fairway and green are always in perfect condition.

Great couse. May need to space people out a bit more though, everytime we finished a whole the group ahead of us usually hadnt tee'd off yet as they were waiting for the goup ahead of them but for the weekend prices and as Im not the best myself i didnt mind as much as the group behind us.

Went for lunch today with my sister. The view was wonderful! She had the turkey club and I the Tuscan wrap. The food was delicious and the service was stellar. We will go again!

Family tournament here and I cannot tell how great the customer service was. Thumbs up especially to the starter and the gentleman helping with the carts as we got started

The course is well kept. Went out right after a dry spell of a few weeks and the whole course was still green and lush. The clubhouse is aging, but is nice enough.

New tee time booking system is brutal in my opinion and I don’t think I’m alone on this one.

For me it’s a deal breaker and I like playing here which is a shame.

The fact that you have to pay for your entire foursome before hand doesn’t sit well with me I understand holding a spot like most golf courses with a credit card but paying for 4 straight up is unfair. As soon as I see that I have to pay for my entire group I look for a new place to play first and I bet I’m not alone. My friends are the type to say I’ll get you later and I’d rather just not deal with that.

I’m going to miss this place.

I played this course last week and the course was rough, greens were cut too low and the course was filled with weeds. Then when you hit holes 5-10 the mosquitoes are horrific. Bring plenty of off or else you’ll have no time to take a practice swing.

Not sure what’s happened. I’ve always enjoyed playing this course. As rough as the course was the staff and service is first class.

We had our wedding at the Pine Knot Golf and Country Club. Our experience working with Eric Kirkpatrick, the owner and his staff can best be described as fantastic. Our wedding was scheduled for June 2020, but when the COVID-19 lockdowns were put in place, we decided to postpone. Eric displayed remarkable understanding and flexibility in providing us with a couple of alternate dates in 2021.

We got married on August 8,2021 and we were pleased beyond expectations with how everything worked out. The outdoor spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were spacious and immaculately groomed. The covered pavilion, that was provided for the outdoor reception, was remarkably comfortable once it was decorated. The staff were quite pleasant, friendly, organized, and helpful. The feedback we received from our wedding guests helped us confirm that using Pine Knot as our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we have made so far.

We have been highly recommending Pine Knot to our friends and family as a reasonably priced, extremely beautiful wedding venue with an amazing owner and great staff, and we will continue to do so. We have absolutely no reservations in making this recommendation.

Course has multiple tee blocks so is very playable by most levels. Course was in good shape even after a long stretch of no rain. Friendly staff very accomodating

Excellent venue for a wedding. Everything was first class. The staff were superb. Every request we had, the staff were only too willing to accommodate. Friendly, efficient, professional. Well done Pine Knot. Beautiful memories for Greg and Krista's wedding.

Nice course, too bad pace of play is so slow that you have to spend over 5 hours to finish a round. Also after reading some other reviews, I can confirm that starter working for your course is an angry d bag that mutters rude things about the people coming onto the course.

First time in, with friends. Great patio, lovely view, away from the road and quiet, just what we were looking for. Pretty usual pub food, well presented. Attentive server who showed initiative spotting a couple of issues he discounted us for without a mention from us, which was a nice surprise. Not fancy, but a decent spot for a date night dinner. Takes reservations.

The start guy told me we are busy if you don't like go back and get refund and live, when he put me with 3 old women to play with them and I refused,

Outstanding experience. The starters and Marshall’s are great and the course is in tip top shape. For the price, I don’t think there’s a course in Ontario that can beat it.

Never played here before. First day back from the golf lockout and the course was immaculate. Felt great to be back. Grounds guys were friendly and even when we slowed the pace of the day we were greeted by the Marshall very courteously and very nicely asked us to speed up the play a bit.
I promise I want won't be as rusty next time.

Well organized to be sent off the first tee. We had an early round so play was steady and no waiting. Will return again soon.

Course was in decent shape for so early in the year. Bar staff which consisted of one person Amanda was fantastic considering she handled the bar, kitchen, simulator and patio outside. Made the 19th hole experience perfect for the day.

Course was In decent shape for being March. So I gave it a 2. Pace of play is terrible. No Marshall came around at all if they even have one. When you have a guy who can't drive the ball 150 yards on a GOOD drive, you shouldn't be playing the gold tees. When you are on your triple bogey shot and not even at the green yet, you should be moving to the front tees. Frustrating waiting 5-10 minutes to hit everyshot.

Played my first round here in mid-March, expectations weren't too high, when you're golfing in March you take what you can get. Was pleasantly surprised by the course condition and the speed of the greens. Kudos to the super!

Pine Knot has been an absolute pleasure to work with. They were our wedding venue for our 2020 wedding. When Covid lockdowns started, they were happy and flexible in rescheduling our wedding. Despite all of the challenges surrounding Covid, they have remained very, understanding, communicative with us, flexible, and overall just an extremely honourable business.
We have always recommended Pine Knot to our friends and family.whether it be a day on the golf course, an excellent meal, or in consideration as a wedding venue, and after our experience with them, we will continue to do so.

Love the course and the staff. Had many tournaments here and they always are run very well. On time and great food from the restaurant. Course is always in great shape and its pretty challenging as well.

Had a great Saturday here! Staff was nice and booking online was easy and makes things quick and safe once we arrived. Nice beverage cart staff especially. Will return!

Golf course was in good shape greens were definitely the nicest part of the course. Golf etiquette was a little lacking (repair marks on the green, let faster people through, repair divots). But thats more a knock on the people golfing the course. The staff were all fantastic and I definitely felt welcomed even though it was my first time at the course. I recommend this course to the beginners and veterans of the sport alike. The white and red tee boxes are forgiving for newer players and as a 11 hadicap the gold tees provided more than enough challenge for me on most holes.

Great fish and chips, buffalo chicken wrap with ceasar salad! Great option for order and go option turning this hard time

Course is in great shape for this early in the year. The GPS on the cart didn't work once the the whole round

Played here for the first time this year during a solo outing. Staff was welcoming and got me out right away. Awesome course and great conditions. Have played multiple more times since and enjoyed every round, even the ones in January! Updated carts are great for riders, but course can be walked easily as well. Indoor sim is a great experience and a great value compared to competition. Great staff, and facilities make this a top place to visit. Will be back.

This is a great course with lots of space. Great for events and parties such as weddings and meetings. The staff are excellent and friendly.

Played the simulator almost like real golf. Staff was awesome. They were very accommodating! They even let us play pine knot the same day. Conditions great. Coming back for sure and I live in TORONTO.

I enjoyed it here much more in the past. Horrible experience this year. They were over focused on the security of their carts and not the quality of play on their course (huge backups on first holes and no ranger).

Great layout and fantastic greens. Clubhouse had good food with reasonable prices. Great value here.

Its a ok course but pricy compared to other top notch golf courses around with coupons this course hardly have any promotion beside golfnow, pretty narrow fairways fast small and slopy greens

I've been out to Pine Knot a few times so far this year and I don't doubt I will be going back. This course is absolutely beautiful. Nice fairways, consistent greens, one of the best courses around, I highly recommend playing here if you haven't.

Hats off to pine knot for making my daughters wedding a memorable one for her. Rachel, you are great at your job. You made everything run soooo smooth for the day. For the chef, wow isnt the word for the food. Never heard so much good things about the food from the guests. I would recommend this place to everyone. Driving range is kind of lame, the ball dispenser has seen better days, you need to go to the main shop to buy tokens for it because the part of the machine that accepts cash is broken. When i went the putting green was in poor condition, not even worth practicing on, ill try another place next time.

The food is very good, the course is nice as well. The reason we keep coming back is solely based on Amanda (who runs the weddings and tournaments) she makes our meals that much more enjoyable.

Great staff, service, quality. Beautiful venue to sit on the pub patio and watch the sunset while having a drink. 9 n' dine is incredible with live music. Friendliest staff, always wanting to make your day better.

I’ve worked at Pine knot for 8 consecutive summers now in various departments and have loved almost every moment of it. I take pride in being a part of the Pine Knot family. Good food, good staff good vibes. The grounds crew is passionate about what they do, and the clubhouse/pro shop staff passionate about what they do. That’s what makes a great work environment.

Great experience. Perfect balance of golf for everyone from challenge to play-ability. Conditions are top shelf, best public greens you can play that rival private clubs. The best drainage I have ever witnessed make it the first choice summer, spring, fall and winter. Welcoming staff and a great hang out and restaurant before and after the round. Always improving.

I love this golf course it's in awesome shape its groomed real nice the greens are quick the layout is awesome as well & when we get the new carts in 2019 this course will be 1 of the best public courses around this area if not 1 of the best in ontario. All you golf ppl have to play this course the staff is awesome & a real pleasure to deal with.
