Pinecroft

We’ve enjoyed going to the PineCroft after all these years and enjoyed the excellent food and atmosphere they have to offer.
Unfortunately during our visit to the PineCroft (Sunday, August 27th) we found the Greeter quite RUDE AND ABRUPT!

Lovely place amongst nature. Had the seafood crepes- to die for!
Nice little shop and we bought a few items.

Visited pinecroft this past weekend and it was delightful. Ordered the grilled salmon and shrimp with loaded potato soup. Was delicious and the service was phenomenal!

We were looked after by our young server Ethan. It was his first day. He was delightful. Good hire!

I visited this restaurant in late October. The first thing you notice is the cute little cabin it’s inside of, and the next is the view. They have a cute shop inside of the building just before you pass through to the restaurant. The food is pretty delicious too! I would come again.

Great service today as we had a fantastic waitress named Lisa and she has a great sense of humor.
Today was a very good day.

Not only is the scenery stunning but the atmosphere was warm and Inviting Which perfectly matched the beautiful scenery. The food was to die for, It was perfectly seasoned and great portions. I had the seafood crepe and one of the specialty teas and can honestly say I would recommend it to anyone. The green frog tea room is a true hidden gem. Keep up the great work!

5 star for taste, 5 star for amazing surroundings and 5 star for service.
A perfect place to have casual lunch among nature. It was my birthday so I went there with my wife and I loved this place. The only limitation is they don’t have options for vegetarian people. We could have only mushroom soup and tomato soup but both the soups were delicious and our server Hannah was awesome.

I will try to keep it short. Service, great no complaints, out of 10 I will give them an 11, yes 11.
Location, very nice especially if eating outdoors. They have a nice lake, quite a surprise we saw some turtles as well, kids had fun.

Meal wise, the food it is bad but also not great I have had better meals. The Lasagna I think was the best option as the salmon with shrimps was ok.

Would I recommend it to go for the first time. Yes. Will I come again? Probably not unless I have not found another place to spend the afternoon but I could.

This place is great for any early lunch or late lunch or really early dinner. We have been here many times. It is very quaint and succluded. You can also rent cabin and stay for a few days if you wish and they have a retail shop attached to the restaurant with a verity if products.

Had a wonderful time yesterday, lunch was delicious, our waitress was so sweet and our walk was spectacular. Loved the gift shop, Cynthia was so very helpful. We will be back for sure.

It used to be great place. The location is great, staff was always super nice and helpfully and the food was great. Unfortunately it is not a case anymore. First of all terrible waiters - we were waiting for water a half an hour! She throw the cutlery on the table with ignorance and did not bother to pick up dirty plates. The food was tasteless and the only thing that save the dishes was ketchup. I think due to COVID they lost their previous chef and stuff. Sorry to see such a dowfall, but looks like our fifth time was the last one there.

The server went around the table putting the coffee pot down on everyone’s mug! Just wondering how often the servers are trained on food safety!? The server should not touch the pot to the mug, as it transfers saliva containing bacteria to the next mug.great way to catch a infection:/

Hit or miss with the food. I have been a few times and have had really great food and other times where the food is pretty skimpy. Lunch today was skimpy. A sandwich with one piece of meat folded in half, a piece of cheese, and two pieces of lettuce. Not impressed.

I had a great time with my sister Darlene Irwin and her grand daughter Kenzie. Kenzie found the frog statue with numerous coins. We placed 2 coins. Love the food they prepare.

This place was the best! A little gem of a restaurant in a forest. The food was super hearty, fresh, and tasty. Most is made in house. I had the tuna melt with a tomato soup and it was to die for. Great service. Super cute little gift shop with their hand made pottery, and a few places to walk around and explore. Very unique dining experience

I actually saw a TikTok featuring the outdoor dining that was available
and mentioned it to a friend that we should have lunch there. Well today we had a beautiful lunch. It was very hard to choose an entree because everything on the menu was so appetizing. Rhonda, our server was fun and friendly and very helpful and was so happy when we enjoyed her suggestions. I will definitely be returning. Beautiful setting and delicious food!

Many Many Many years ago a friend took me to Pinecroft. I think it was maybe called the Green Frog tea room. Since that time i visit it at least yearly, The setting the atmosphere and the customer service is amazing and so friendly. Food is also excellent. Today i visited again with my 8th family or friend and introduced all of them to Pinecroft, that had never been there before. I don't have the name of the server but our reservation was for 1: 45 and we had table 15. This lady was wonderful to us as all of your staff are, We even joked how many people I had brought for the first time. Thankyou to you and your staff for the privilege of visitors to come take a walk and have a fabulous experience. Linda

First time being there and Loved it all the cabins and the water and of course thier gift shop was amazing

The food and service was good. Hope we can try the massage hut and pottery studio in the future.

The food here was really good. I had the salmon and shrimp which was amazing! I dined inside but next time I will probably want to be outside in the trees. Long wait times for service but it was worth it. Our cutlery came out after our food was already on the table which is why only 4 starts otherwise it would be 5.

Lovely setting! We were lucky enough to be seated for lunch without advance reservations. Great atmosphere! Great service! Recommended

Had salmon and shrimp. Really delicious. Hubby had chilli and loved it too. Went in gift shop afterwards. Delightful selection of clothing, pottery and artisan gifts.

What a BEAUTIFUL place. A must go. Staff friendly and good food and service. Also a little cabin store full of homemade things.

We went with a group of elderly people from our care home. We had ordered ahead.food was hot and delicious! Cake for dessert was amazing!

Based on the great reviews and beautiful scenery, we went for lunch July 31st and had the worst meal I've ever had. I had a pickerel meal, that once defrosted, arrived in tiny overly battered and burnt pieces. Each piece had barley any fish in them! My friends broccoli and chicken crepe had huge pieces of broccoli, and scant tiny pieces of chicken. The fries were also overcooked. Very disappointing.

My friend and i have waited 6 months to celebrate our birthdays at last the green frog was open. What a delight all things peach was perfect. The gift shop is a pleasure, everything was so orderly which made choosing a gift so easy. Thankyou for a wonderful experience.

Staff here was amazing. Lunch was great fast scenery was beautiful lots of trails. Places where you can just sit and enjoy the day.

A dreamy place! Coming in from the entrance, you enter a different space. You're surrounded by tall trees with outdoor dining. And the atmosphere and presentation of this place felt so magical to me.
Highly recommend making reservations to ensure your spot. There's a 90minute seating time to accommodate other guests.

Food was good. We tried the soup of the day which was French onion soup. Tried their chili meal and vegetarian pie. The best chili and onion soup I had so far. Food is seasoned well, not too salty. The pinecroft rolls were fantastic! The vegetarian pie is creamy, it tasted a lot better eating it with chili.
For dessert we got seasonal strawberry crepe, strawberry cheesecake, and colossal carrot cake (strawberries from Howe Farm). The strawberries were bit sour. The crepe itself was really good. The whipped cream they use is definitely not real whipping cream and we didn't enjoy it. The carrot cake was amazing. Really good cheese frosting and cake.

We were stuffed by the end, you can walk around in nature after and look around the gift shop. Amazing experience and overall good dining.

Cute little place to have lunch. The staff was super friendly and service was quick. The food was okay. We enjoyed our walk around the two small trails.

Realy nice place. We sat out doors under the pine trees, looking at the pond. Good food, a lovely afternoon.

Beautiful setting for a brunch with a date. Decent selections of foods with fresh ingredients that are locally sourced and hand made.

The are is very picturesque and peaceful. There are hiking trails nearby and a gift shop!
