Pinewood Orchard

Such a great hidden gem in the city! A smaller orchard but still enough trees that you're not on top of other people and have your own space. I found it especially good for young children as there were many branches with low hanging fruit for toddler hands to pick independently! There's a few trees too that you can walk under and sit down in, my daughter found this especially neat and spent half her time there! There were parking attendants showing you where to go which was helpful. There wasn't anything "extra" like firepit or animals which I actually thought was fantastic because the focus was the apples! Also helps to get people in and out quicker. Overall we spent an hour and a half walking around with our toddler which was much longer than we planned for!

Love going to pinewood for our Apple purchase every fall. Great place good service. But they only offer two types of apples, and the guys directing cars need to remember there needs to be space for cars coming and going.

Le verger est facilement accessible. Personnel courtois mais ne connaît pas les variétés de pommes.
Nous avons trouvé la majorité de pommes avec des défauts, piqués par des verts, ou bien des signes d'imperfection ou de maladies.
Quand même une expérience sympathique avec les enfants.

Really nice small orchard. Close to the city and fun thing to do with little kids as does not require a whole lot of walking.

It is a fun place for both adults and kids. They have two sizes of apple bags. The big one is $35 and the small one is $20 (2022). The big one is more than double of the small one. I got lots of apples even with the small one. They have a store selling apples and different vegetables like garlics, potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes. They also sell apple juice. All the prices are reasonable or good. I had a very good experience there.

They have a good variety of apples that taste fresh but there's a lot of nats. Some of the trees are worn down.

Great place to spend time with family. Kids loved it. The apples taste great. We liked the honey as well.
