Love love love the staff at pinnacle animal hospital they have been my vet for at least 10 years and they are great I would recommend them to all my friends and family this is our fur baby and they are really great with him they treat you like family

This was Nikko first vet appointment with Pinnacle he did very well he didn't even notice he got his needle, always friendly people and the That techs and Dr are amazing been with this vet for years and it's a great vet.

Wonderful compassionate staff who answer all your questions or addresses any situation that arises. They are prompt, courteous and always gentle with your pet. Ozzie and I would recommend to all!

Everytime we come here with our pet we wait at least 30mins, sometimes more than an hour after our appointed time just to get into a room. It's frustrating because they know we drive nearly an hour each way just to get here and it turns into a half day affair with an elderly pet. The last time we were in we only saw the vet tech for a vaccine booster and this still took more than an hour. My advice to them would be to stop taking new clients, the ones you currently have are receiving suboptimal care.

My family and I always have a positive experience at Pinnacle! The staff are very kind and caring, attentive to detail, and thorough in their care of animals. Our dog Winston had TPLO rehabilitation and dental surgery, and continues to have his regular veterinary visits at Pinnacle and we are never disappointed. We are so thankful to have such a great vet available to us in our community:) Highly recommend!

My Nash (very anxious 3yr old mini aussipoo) and I have a tremendous amount of respect for the staff at Pinnacle on our last visit September 1st we met Doctor Marianne for the first time and like other vets and techniciens there gave us sound advice and recommendations, they never push just tell us like it is, always recommend what's affordable for u first being retired on a pension makes it so much less stressful, office staff very caring also and if u are like me they can answer any question I forgot to ask so I definitely recommend Pinnacle to anyone not sure which animal hospital to go too.

Despite living in Ottawa, I am more than willing to make the drive to Renfrew because I know that the quality of care I receive at Pinnacle is unmatched. The professionalism and expertise of their team make it well worth the trip.

Doctor Sarah Seguin very adequately explained in detail what Brandy would be having done, liked that. I am sure they took good care of him and he is coming along very well. Aftercare was thoroughly explained by her assistant. This is the second day and all is well. Thank you everyone. Price was a little more than I expected but guess it had to be.

So grateful to have a place to take Gypsy for rehab, including an underwater treadmill. The cost is fair and I appreciate the care Sarah gives her and the results she gets.
The add to calendar appointments and reminders emailed to me are helpful too.

As owner of a stray cat my daughter in law has undertake the vet visits for me. Re veterinarian services I can not complement there services enough. Being a farmer and knowing animal health should be a priority for owners these are one of the best

Completely rude, not helpful, useless front end worker at the vet. They are taking in huge batches of puppies and then refusing to see them once they're rehomed.

If you're not going to take them in for their boosters, and follow ups, you shouldn't be taking them in from the breeders.

You can either deal with the volume or you can't. It's bad practice to use it as a cash grab sale like you're doing.

Worst veterinary service in the Ottawa Valley! My cat is dying and in grave condition and needs an emergency appointment and wwe were denied any appointments until November. Its October 11th.its sad that a veterinary doctor doesn't care about animals in our community. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

I've had two recent experiences with Pinnacle. The first was an initial checkup for a new puppy. Front office staff are rude: I stood waiting to pay for services while one was on the phone (understandable), and the other just sat there staring at the computer. After the one was on the phone was off, she was able to help me pay, however I was taken aback by the lack of professionalism, and manners by the one staring at the computer.
The vets themselves are condescending and like to talk down to you. Verney or however her name is spelled, had no bedside manners, and I wouldn't advise anyone to bring their animal to her. She cared little about the issue with my dog, and was more concerned with getting out of the room. My dog's illness has not been cured, and will have to find a different vet to do so. I would not recommend this vet to anyone, and will be taking my business elsewhere.

2yrs ago, our cat Lilo got sick. She wasn't eating, drinking or using her litter box and she kept vomiting. After this going on for a day with no improvement, we took her to a local emergency vet. (We live in Sudbury). After getting the run around, being told that Lilo had issues that she DIDN'T have, and paying a TON of money for basically nothing, I decided to contact Dr. Verney at Pinnacle Animal Hospital in Renfrew. (Dr. Verney is the vet of a friend of ours who lives in that area.) After getting the information about our issues with the emergency vet and how our Lilo was doing, Dr. Verney contacted the vet in Sudbury and got Lilo's file. Dr. Verney determined, after reading over Lilo's file and from what I had told her, that Lilo needed bloodwork and possibly another xray. So, I called our regular vet (not the emergency vet) to see what they could do. Our vet said that she needed to be hospitalized. Bloodwork, fluids, abdominal ultrasound and overnight stay = over $1200! (This would be ON TOP of what we already paid at the emergency vet.)
Told Dr. Verney. She asked if my hubby could bring Lilo to Renfrew and if he could get there before 5pm. (This was at the beginning of the very first lockdown). She told us she would be able to do what Lilo needed for a FRACTION of the price our local vet was going to charge. At this point we were very worried we would lose Lilo, who wasn't even 1yr old, at the time. So, let's just say it was a no brainer. So, my hubby drove the 3-4hrs to Renfrew with Lilo. When he got there, Dr. Verney and the staff at Pinnacle Animal Hospital did bloodwork and an xray. The bloodwork took and xrays took minutes to complete and the results were just as quick. Unfortunately, Lilo had to stay because she was so dehydrated, so, because of the lockdown, my hubby had to drive home.
I am happy to report that under the care of Dr. Verney and the staff at Pinnacle, Lilo made a full recovery. Because we were so far away, Dr. Verney sent me videos and pictures throughout the time Lilo was there, which made me so happy. The only thing that we were worried about was ending up with the wrong kitty because Lilo was working her charm on the staff so much that they wanted to keep her. (They didn't, of course. Our Lilo is the right one.)
To conclude this story, I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Verney and the staff at Pinnacle Animal Hospital. Without them, we would have lost Lilo. We are forever thankful and will bring our pets there, again, if the need arises.

I really love this vet clinic. The rooms are oversized to suit my clan of fur babies. The reception and vet have always been great to deal with. I'm really bummed at the moment, because I am no longer able to take my pets to this awesome vet clinic as I have procrastinated too long about their vaccines and they are no longer accepting new clients. Hoping this is temporary and I can again someday recieve the great services this veterinary clinic has to offer. It would also be great if they offered some form of a waiting list as all vets in Renfrew County seem to be experiencing the same issues with overflowing clients.

Been with this clinic for over 18 years. Their staff are super helpful and friendly. Very informative and knowledgeable. They explain everything thoroughly and are such amazing people to talk to.
They're all for helping their clients and the animals. They're willing to work with you the best they can. Which makes them an incredible animal clinic. Highly recommended! By far my most favorite vet clinic in the Ottawa Valley!
Was fun time taking my 9 puppies to their first vet visit! Lots of jokes and laughs! Wonderful people there! So refreshing to see people with a sense of humour! Definitely brightened my day.

Amazing vet office! We switched to Pinnacle after hearing numerous recommendations. Since then we have been blown away with the quality of care for our two labs Lucy and Lola. The vets are extremely thorough and knowledgeable. The vet techs and receptionists are always very professional and kind. We have not had one experience or appointment that has been anything but positive.

I have always appreciated the care and professionalism I have experienced at Pinnacle Animal Hospital. Dr. Verney respects and is open to different approaches and her chiropractic care of my little pug has been very helpful. Her sensitivity and empathy when we have had to say goodbye to our fur babies over the years has seemed quite genuine and comforting. We highly recommend this Animal Hospital.

Completely heartless staff doesnt allow me to take my pet in for an emergency. The sad part is im not even a new client, they just closed my file because I hadn't been there in a long time. Turns out if you're not giving them cash regularly you're not a client worth keeping their animal friend alive.

For a year they are not accepting new patients. I moved from Ottawa to Cobden and still have to take my 2 pupps to Ottawa. 100km one way. I wonder is it my heavy accent they don't want us or?
