Lovely place for group dinner with friends or as a couple with/without kids.
Very friendly staff, clean and fresh.

Food is generally very good, with some exceptions (like any other place).

The good: Portions are fair, and reasonably priced. It's why I don't go to chains anymore that "Jack" up the prices and reduce portions.

Their pastas in particular are generally really good - and the Lobster Lover's pasta - you won't find a shrimp pasta with a whole rock lobster tail anywhere else for $22.

The bad:

UPDATE (November 2023) :

They have since changed the salad croutons in the French Onion soup to bread. However, they just break up the same sliced down the middle mini-baguette-style bread they use for the garlic toast shards you get when you order pasta. It just doesn't work as they are chewy (as they're sliced down the middle - chewy flat crust on the bottom not edges). This may be even worse actually - but at least it isn't seasoned. It just doesn't work and as a result I'll still continue to avoid the French Onion soup. Remember, this is $8 for a small bowl.

The veg sides are horrible plain, flavourless boiled vegetables. And they seem to come with every non-pasta dish. How much of these are you throwing away every day that people won't eat? Throw some cheese sauce on these - I'll pay the 10 cents it'll cost you. At least butter and season them.

Just wow.
My best friend has her baby shower here today and I am just blown away by the service we got. Our server Brendan was funny, very fast and super attentive. I got the Maui wowie burger which was top 3 burgers I have ever had. It was so huge I could only finish half of it. The waffle fries were ok, but probably the best onion rings I have ever had in my life. My daughter for the fish with steamed veggies. Veggies were generous and perfect. Our fish was over cooked and dry unfortunately, but she's 2 so, she didn't care.
All the staff was super kind about my toddler running around the restaurant while we waited for our party to settle. We ended the night with toddler hugs and high fives for all.
I hope to return with my family to share this experience with them as well soon. Thank-you!

Maybe the best value for pub type food in all of Burlington. I walked in to pick up my order and no fewer than 3 employees asked if they could help me within 5 minutes. Beautiful space but I’m most impressed with the prices and value. Good food and probably 5-6$ cheaper per item than anywhere else- that’s why it’s always busy! Great job Piper Arms

Nice atmosphere for watching sports at the bar but would not recommend the food. The food is good if you grew up eating TV dinners. Tried 3 times now and not worth it for a meal.

Servers are amazing, very attentive, and always try to meet your needs. The food is good and has a home cooked meal feel but the portions vary and aren’t consistent. Great low key place to come watch basketball, hockey, UFC, and everything else with friends and family if you aren’t a fan of loud places and want to hear the company you came with.

The only reason I didn’t give this establishment 4-5 stars is because our server ruined the experience for me. Food was a great price but just decent quality. Atmosphere was really nice. Main issue was our server blaming one of us for not ordering the daily special and bringing a regular menu item instead. When we explained it was supposed to be the special (as a server, I’d admit if it was ordered wrong) she told us that my gf would be upcharged even though the server put in the wrong order. Very poorly handled but I don’t blame the restaurant, unless they made the server do this.

My sister and I went out for dinner there last night. She had never been there before. I’ve been there a few times and have never been disappointed. Their food is fantastic and the service was amazing. My sister was very happy with it and will definitely be going back again as will I. Thank you for a great evening Piper arms!

I came here for the first time and to start they gave me a dirty fork… I should have walked out then but I understand things can happen! I ordered my food a BLT and I got 1 piece of bacon! Wow piper arms don’t hurt yourself! As I was finishing my drink i realized my glass was the dirtiest thing I have EVER drank from! I just wanna puke! This place is very unclean and if I could give it ZERO stars I would! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING do they even use soap to wash dishes? Or just water! The waitress didn’t seem to care she said it was normal for them

We had a fantastic meal, all of our tables food was great. Max, our server was very attentive, friendly and polite. Great experience and I will be back!

Great experience with our group of 12! The food was served hot, serving sizes were great, the drinks were excellent and the service was very efficient and friendly. Thanks for putting up with us! Will certainly be back again!

This restaurant is so consistently hit and miss that we go with trepidation and never invite people to join anymore. If you're there on a day with experienced staff and kitchen people you can have a great time. Unfortunately that's a rare occurrence. They have completely forgotten entrees TWICE. Without the server noticing. Whenever we have gone with more than the two of us they have forgotten an entree, or delivered the wrong one and not noticed. Burgers and fish and chips are terrible, which is inexcusable in a pub. The menu is too large, too diverse to be executed consistently. Choose a theme and stick with it. My husband ordered a Thai dish, which I ordered two days later. It was forgotten, lol. When it finally arrived it bore little resemblance to what my husband had been served two days earlier. And the other 5 people at our table had finished eating by the time it was delivered. Go at your own risk; it's a toss up whether you'll get a good day or a bad one. I know there are shortages, but most of the waitstaff are clueless here.

This was our 1st time here, and certainly won't be our last, great value, big lots of meat dishes, great beer prices but service was a little slow.but that's ok

Tried this place on a whim for a take out order and I’m hooked. Constantly fresh delicious food I look forward to trying something new on the menu burgers and wraps are my go to

Here's an edit. Ordered 2 tallboys of Corona and Spring rolls for $31.18. Received 2 bottles of corona and 5 spring rolls that have been clearly drenched in grease or who knows what. The driver said it was ridiculous that they were sending two bottles at $7 a piece when two tallboys were ordered. Tried to call the restaurant? No answer. This place is garbage.

Never eat here.had a Skip order go wrong, nearly an hour wait to boot. Simply ordered Asiago dip and two lagers. Called the restaurant, the manager said they forgot the drink portion of the order in the kitchen-this has nothing to do with the delivery guy. The manager recommended we contact Skip the Dishes to get a refund. Over one hour later and talking to four different people they hav⁸e given us a $15 refund. We ordered three items and 1/3 showed up. If they fail this abysmally to get their delivery orders at least *somewhat right* on a slow Monday night, I hate to imagine what is going on that kitchen. The one food item that we ordered and the only thing we received-clearly old and prepared days back as the chips were soggy and the dip was surrounded by an inch of seeped old liquid. Get it together.

Found this place by accident one day trying to avoid traffic and I’ve been back several times. My favourite beer on tap, really good wings (pineapple curry!) and $12 lunches are sure to bring anyone back.
Service has always been spot on, even by staff new to the place. And they treat my kids well which is very important to me. Including Dinosaur nuggets on the kids menu. Try the chicken curry if you wanna sweat.

Brought my father here at his request for his 80th Bday. I think we had a new waitress as she could not answer any questions about the menu including the soup of the day.my vegetables were served cold. I would not be a repeat customer.staff was friendly enough and polite but food was so so. Soip was delivered after the main course and same with my wife's salad.very strange.

We've hosted our corporate year-end party at Pipers Arms the past 3 years, and every year it has been a great success! Pipers Arms offers a great variety of food, great environment and amazing service. Highly recommend Pipers Arms for corporate events!

We ordered wings, chicken strips and ribs. I was told the food would be ready in 30 minutes. I arrived 10 minutes early.

All of the food was soggy and miserable. The strips were half sauced in some coagulated red nonsense. Some of the bites were very hot. Some were flavourless. All were soft; no crisp.

The wings were pathetic, insanely breaded, moist, flavourless lumps of disappointed chicken, who didn’t make the team. These chickens must have all been rejects.

The ribs were over cooked, half sauced, meat disintegrating as you picked them up.

100% would not recommend. I’d give 0 stars if I could. This is not “pub fare. ” Its over produced, over commercialized, garbage that the Burlington faithful will repeatedly recommend. The only reason I refuse to complain is that aside from a refund, I don’t want a credit to this trash compactor of a restaurant.

I feel attacked.

Lively place. See the people with happy faces (lunch or evening), you are lightened up. Good foods and services. If they say it is spicy, they mean it. They are not doing it less. So many regulars of this place.

Went on a Sat evening in a group of 5. We didn't have a reservation but got a table promptly. Ordering went fairly well, but then that is where the star rating stops. Had to ask for refills, table not even cleared after meals were done. Bills arrived but no one asked about desert of coffee.
Almost as if they just wanted everyone out after the dinner rush yet it wasn't all too busy and there seemed to be adequate staffing.

The food cannot get any better! Best wings in Burlington! Great atmosphere and service. Our favourite pub for a night out or with the kids.

It was nice to feel the back to restaurant welcome and the waitress was wonderful. Food was great and so the drinks. Thank you All.

The parking lot and dining areas were packed on a Wednesday lunchtime. Quite a popular place. Their lunch specials are a good price. Food was very good as was the service. Would definitely go again.

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! The food is absolutely delicious and always made to perfection. Not your typical “restaurant made” food - it’s like the most wonderful homemade cooking you’ve ever had…. That will keep making you come back for more! Not to mention, the daily deals are amazing and even without any deals, their prices are fantastic. Their menu has something for everyone and I LOVE that! Lastly, they have the most delicious drinks - I find it’s so hard to find a restaurant with a decent drink menu… and they have the most delicious frozen, blended drinks (Daiquiri, pina colada) which is near impossible to find at so many places now a days.

All in all - this place is fantastic. Amazing staff and management as well.

Excellent liver and onions. Friendly staff. Large selection for lunch specials. Usually very busy so not the best place if you are in a rush. Enjoyed the atmosphere.

I ordered mozzarella sticks and antojitos off skip the dishes and got a wicked case of food poisoning. Missed Canada Day celebrations. I’ve ordered from Piper Arms before with no problems. It was likely a one off, but safe to say I’ll never order from here again.

We ordered various plates for a 10-ppl group. I liked the sea foods (shrimps & mussels), properly marinated and cooked.
But I didn't really like the steak which was my main food. If I was the chef, I would have put asparagus instead all those vegies. Taste of steak was weak, I've had so many better before. But, try their sea food if you go there. Drink menu wasn't good enough either. I'd add some stout and porter beer apart from Guinness.

Was our day off and we wanted a few Vizzy beverages to enjoy the evening so ordered from here as I’ve ordered before and like the food. Ordered through Skip. Order was delivered and the food was good as always. Opened the bag of beverages and they were white claw. Contacted skip and they were useless so I called the bar. Got the manager and explained what happened, they had tried calling which I appreciated but we were in the yard and missed the call. Being in the industry myself I asked why not just have them refunded instead of sending 4 claws we won’t touch? The mgr said they have been sold out of Vizzy for a year!? It only was launched this spring. She said she’s just the monday evening manager and couldn’t do anything. That’s fair, she took my info and the proper manager was to call me today to resolve this. It’s 6pm now the day after and no call. Waste of $28 dollars or overall $50! Plus delivery to skip and drivers tip. Will never order from this place again. A simple call from the manager could have resolved this as I’m understanding and wanted to move past this over site.

The service at this place is disgusting. I drive for UBER and have picked up multiple orders from here. When I walk in the servers will look at me and not even ask me what I need or tell me that someone will be with me. I have to go out of my way to get their attention to let them know I'm there to pick up an order, even though my delivery bag makes it pretty obvious. Unless the delivery is close by, I try to avoid going here and I'll never pick this as a place to dine.

I had enjoyed many visits to Piper Arms but my latest visit was very disappointing. We were a group of four men looking for some great food and few drinks. Two of our group were visiting from the U. S. Our food was cold, our appetizer arrived as a desert and our server offered a few so sorries but we have a large group to serve as well as you. One of my U. S.visitors shared his disappointment with the manager. The manager apologized and was sorry but they are dealing with a large group. My visitor told him that he was not impressed with the service and their response to our disappointment. He told the manager that he would not recommend Piper Arms whereupon the manager responded that he is entitled to his opinion!

Issues arise and how those issues are resolved is so very important particularly in the restaurant business! Good Luck, Piper Arms

Service was ok food was cold. My girlfriends was better took 40 min to get average chicken tenders garlic bread was really good

My wife & I just came back from a pleasant first time visit for dinner and we both enjoyed our night there. My wife had the Chicken fajita and a glass of wine and I had the seafood linguine and a tall boy. There was plenty of food for our dinner in fact my wife brought half of her's home and I finished mine but left feeling full. Next time I'll try the Lobster Lovers. Staff was very pleasant and dinner price was fair in my opinion of everything else climbing in this crazy time. Glad we stopped,

There were very few people in there at this point and it took an HOUR for our food! We only ordered apps and a wrap! Maybe there was only one cook in the kitchen or something but we were pretty shocked it took THAT long

Don’t get SkipTheDishes from this place. Cold…1.5 hrs to deliver and the order is missing items. Everyone is entitled to a bad day. This is the 3rd time we have been disappointed. Best yet…. The driver took the order out of his front seat and walked to the trunk to put it in a thermal bag. Nice work.

We always go when we are in the area. Great food efficient and friendly servers, prices are great specials every day, check it out.

Our waiter was great! The food was really good and good amount. It has a bar vibe but that’s what we were looking for. We’ll go back in the summer to try their patio.

Interior is OK if you like giant TV screens in every direction you look. Server was nice but I think he had a lot of tables to cover on his own. Burger and fries was ok I guess, nothing special, fries where the ones that are made from extruded potato.beer prices were good. One of our party got a totally cold meal. Would I go again? Probably not.

My co-workers and I go here fairly often and Lori is our server all the time. She is amazing - she greets us and brings our drinks without asking what we need as she already knows what everyone gets.
The bar/restaurant is constantly busy during lunch hour but Lori makes it a point to check on us regularly.
By far my favourite server at any bar/restaurant.

I was there with a group. The service was painfully slow, despite the fact that there were only 2 other tables in the bar. Those 2 tables also left shortly after we arrived, so not sure why it was so slow. One person got their meal so late that a few people in the group were almost done their meals already! The server got our orders wrong. My food was not fully cooked. Then to top it off the server brought the bill, without me asking for it, before she brought the cutlery for my dessert! I would not reccomend going here.

Great spot. Lots of offers for lunch at a reasonable price. Restaurant noice is minimal. You can actually carry on a normal conversation. Highly recommend the experience.

Huge menu with no vegan options. I know it’s just a local pub, but seriously.
When my food came it wasn’t hot and my order was incorrect. The staff was very slow and not at all personable. Definitely won’t be going back.

Love it! Great patio as always but the food is fantastic and great value. Lobster mac n cheese was amazing, chicken carbonara fantastic, Wings great! Missed Local / Dymonds when the closed but these guys have it spot on so far!

We were pleased with our first meals here, the $10 lunch specials. We had the chicken curry and Greek chicken kebab. The portion size was fine for a senior lunch. We will certainly try eating here again, although I am always wary of any restaurant's ability to execute such a large and varied menu.

Drink prices seemed reasonable. Service was OK.

It will be important for the management to focus on the details - my coffee was lukewarm and had obviously been in the pot for a while.

Fantastic “over and above” service. Our Uber eats was missing some dips and the manager rectified the situation immediately. Very kind of him. Happy customers, would absolutely recommend!

We really enjoy coming here. The food is always great, the menu has something for everyone, the staff are friendly. We can also watch the game and listen to live music on a Saturday night. Definitely will be back.

Usually I give this place a 4-star rating but tonight's repast was a huge disappointment. I had ordered a BLT that purported to have loads of bacon (which turned out to only be two skinny slices of bacon) ; an anemic tomato slice and lettuce that looked like it was from the outside of the plant. There was no butter on the toast or mayonnaise so the bread was the consistency of a crouton. The fries that accompanied were very tasty.
Make sure to look at the menu before you order because there are nightly specials. When my partner tried to change his order to the special, it was too late even though we were not given time to even look at the menu before she took our drink order.

The worst service going! Took over 40 mins to get luke warm food and went to the bar to refill drinks cause our waitress was MIA. THEN NO ONE WAS AT THE BAR.

Really big menu selection. I love supporting small business. Great value for you if you like pasta on Mondays and wings on Tuesdays. Clean and nicely decorated for a great pub atmosphere. Service was terrific. I will be back several times. Menu looks really good.

I came here for dinner tonight. Previous reviews had me a little nervous. All new businesses have their growing pains though. Welcoming atmosphere, comfortable seating, the staff are attentive and anxious to please. The food prices are very reasonable, the drinks are on par with every other restaurant. Daily weekday specials are a GREAT value. I had the buffalo chicken wrap (on wing night lol). It came as I ordered, with a modification, and was delicious. The chicken was still crispy! I will return for sure!

Awesome menu selections - something for everyone - beer and wine prices - probably the best in Burlington. Have been back now several times, and no complaints.

Food was excellent and definitely generous portions. Everything is reasonably priced as well. I thought the decor was great and the tv screens built into every booth were interesting.

My only complaint is that I requested for one of the TVs to be changed to the hockey game (that they had playing in the bar area) twice and it never happening despite them saying they could. Other than that the staff were amazing and very friendly.

I was surprised, especially with the extensive menu, how exceptional the food was. I was with three others. Between us we enjoyed the butternut squash ravioli, steak, chicken and the curry dish that is served inside a Yorkshire pudding. Everyone loved their food, although it was a good thing the curry dish was ordered by someone who likes it hot!

Our server Leah was attentive and was quick to sort out a beer not to one person's liking.

I have every intention of going again soon. Give it a try, you won't be sorry.

Was visiting family in Burlington and came in for a bite to eat around lunch time, what a treat this place is! Our server was Lori, she made sure our beer came out fast and cold. The menu is extensive, the beer selection is great, portion sizing is generous and the food was delicious. Great selection of $10 items. We had the calamari and it was cooked beautifully, the chicken wrap which was incredible and my children had some kids menu items which they loved. Friendly staff and great ambience. 10/10 would recommend

Food was tasty but clearly new staff that are not previous bar tenders. I waiting 15 minutes for my second Guinness and it wasn't even busy. Startup jitters I guess. Hopefully gets better with practice.

Waitress was awesome! Very friendly & easy to talk too. Food was good, ribs came out a little cold but was a good price for what I got. Patio was nice to sit on!

We tried this on a Friday for lunch. When you order off the quick menu because you have to go back to work, you expect it will be ready quick. We almost had to ask for it to go. Great food once we got it though

We went here when it first opened, the place seemed very disorganized. Many of the food and beer options listed on the menu weren’t even available. Service was slow and they got our orders wrong. When we finallly got our food it was decent enough, but unfortunately the experience turned us off this place. We will not be visiting again.there are so many other pub options in Burlington.

I’ve been here 3 times now and find the service, quality and value to be fantastic. A great addition to Burlington and walking distance for a homebody!

Service was good but the food took way to long and was cold when it arrived at the table. No management table check until we asked for him to come over to chat with us. Did nothing to resolve the issue. It is such a shame to see a new restaurant delivering a poor experience and with a management team that doesn't care.

We waited 45mins for food, served rolled her eyes when we told her the one entree was cold. Took another 20 mins to come back like warm. Not impressed

I really like piper arms! The food there was amazing but it did take quite a long time for me to receive the food. I heard that a staff got fired there and I truly feel sorry for her but some of her words are showing racist. She is also threatening the manager. If she has a problem with them she should file a complaint.

Went to Piper Arms on the weekend. Food was nothing to rave about. Typical GFS stuff. Service was slow. Kitchen seemed very disorganized. Overheard staff rudely talking to their employee.

Hardly any changes since BARQUE. Doesn’t feel very “pub like”

We were in search for a late meal and decided to drive by in the off chance it had opened. We were in luck - they officially opened yesterday (May 31) While I did not receive what I had ordered.what was set in front of me was simply delicious. Poutine with loads of curds and possibly the best gravy I have ever tasted. Top that with blackened chicken and you end up with a delicious mistake. I will go back to try the dish I ordered.curry poutine. The menu was extensive and reasonably priced.

Menu has anything and everything. Haven’t seen a menu with so many options yet. The wings were massive and delicious. Their pina colada is worth trying! Watched raptors here, many screens all around. Super clean place, friendly staff, easily accessible off the highway. Patio looks amazing will be returning to check it out!
