CHICK-FA LAI chewing week old gum they fond under a table.this place is so good it will be my death bed meal and my child's first meal.if u see anyone disrespecting my favorite restaurant I will find you and feed you soup and a smoothy

My brocoli was iffy the tast was their but it definatley was not piping or even hot i should have asked the homless guy that was heating his can of soup if wanted to trade then they would get a 5* rating good day

I’ve been ordering from here for years, I always get the same thing and never had a problem until recently. Ordered a family size jambalaya with no rice, it came with about 75% rice (which was very hard and undercooked) and 25% soup. Paid a lot for very little. Also got a mochaccino and it was terrible, bitter and cup wasn’t full. I used to love ordering from here but the service and quality has gone downhill, will probably try to find a new soup spot.

I dropped in last week to pick up soup and buns for a group. I ordered 4 family sized soup and asked if I could have a dozen buns in a bag.well that set off an interesting chain of events! I got to watch a staff member go red faced and proceed to throw 12 buns in bags. As a side benefit, we got her thumbholes in most of the buns as she grabbed them in anger. As she dropped the buns in the counter she said with an insincere smile. "next time give us advanced notice". Really? ! To put 12 buns in a bag? ! I should have walked out or at least asked for 12 buns that were not crushed in a fit of anger, but I was experiencing a loss in the family and just needed to move on with the day. I will pass on this experience and I certainly won't be back.

Very friendly staff, always polite and will go the extra mile to make sure the customer is happy. So nice to feel appreciated. I hope they have a great day!

This place is usually really good. However, I believe they should stick to soups and not change them everyday (idk if this is weekly) I by accidentally Misclicked on Uber and got the cream of 5 onion it just tasted awful. I will say usually this place is very good and they make amazing sandwiches and soups most of the time but that just ruined my experience.just wanted to give some feedback because that was not tasty at all.

I live nearby and go all the time. My daughter loves their broccoli cheddar soup. They have so many different soups and it changes daily. Staff are always so sweet. Also I listened to the one young ladies recommendation of their pickle pasta salad and I too recommend it, if you love pickles be sure to give it a try.

The environment inside is very cozy, amazing soups, sandwiches AND smoothies! They have a spiced apple one right now which is sooo yummy! The staff is always very friendly and reasonable prices as well! Highly recommend!

Today I ordered here off of skip the dishes, I just got my wisdom teeth removed and can only eat one of the soups on their menu that was a bisque because I can't eat solid food yet, they unfortunately ran out of the bisque after my order went through but an amazing staff members at the restaurant went above and beyond and called me and happily offerd to go out of their way to blend one of the other soups on the menu for me. 11/10 on customer service!

The cheddar dill pasta salad needs to alwayyyysssss be in stock. Stuff seriously has no right being so tasty. I wish also there was coleslaw to add as a topping to the pulled pork sandwich.

I asked specifically what soup was seafood free as I have an allergy, I got the beef coconut Thai and even after asking several times, the staff assured me it didn't have seafood. One bite in and it didnt feel right, so I called to speak to the chef and they told me it did have seafood and to not eat it. I would give zero stars, because thats how many cares the staff showed about the mishap. Do better, it is actually important.

The broccoli cheddar and chicken noodle soups were great! Sandwiches were good too, and decently priced as a small sandwich and large soup combo was under $10 per person. I like that they had around 8 different soup options too, and some vegetarian options!
There was no proper dine in restaurant option, just takeout but you did have the option to sit at the tables there and eat with your takeout.my only complaint was that the girl working was not friendly or welcoming.description = white, brunette hair in bun, white shirt and tattoo on right arm.she was training another girl.this employee was not wearing a name tag.simply put she seemed grumpy and unimpressed which definitely altered our experience here.i think i’ll be doing doordash in the future but will still be ordering soups for delivery

We ordered the chicken noodle soup. My 6 yr old daughter almost choked on a small piece of chicken bone. This is unacceptable and I’m very disappointed with the quality.

I usually not a huge type of person who is into soup. I do not eat at Piping Kettle that often but a few times at their Covent Garden of their downtown London, Ontario location. They have more options of their soup or sandwiches at this location. Besides giving big cooperations my dollar such as McDonald’s, KFC or Subway. I will support them as a local soup and sandwich place in London, Ontario. You get a lot of portion with your money. However, I went to their Huron and Highbury Avenue location. Their sandwich bread is not like the baguette ones or the sandwiches you see at Subway at their downtown location. It is just a 2.5 centimetre thick size bread that is cut from the loaf, and the size is the same just more portion added just more than a 100 grams of it. The pulled pork is a bit cold and the bread is started to get harden. But it is still okay though, and I had their pulled pork sandwich at their downtown location. I am surprise to spend $10 just a sandwich itself, and inflation is so high but make your pricing reasonable. Petrol is $1.71 per litre the average, and I got a ride here all the way from Masonville hence if it was a poor experience. I would have gone to Subway for a 30 centimetre size meatball sandwich or stay at Masonville Mall to eat at their food court even it is not the best hence not wasting time and gas just a few kilometres to get here for a sandwich. I would have eat at Cinnabon or anything (Arby’s, Rec Room, Cineplex, New York Fries, Dairy Queen, etc) inside Masonville Mall. Lucky, this a decent experience. I would rather starve next time than having poor experience. I might as well enjoy the food court at Masonville Mall next time. They have sandwiches at Arby’s or restaurants across from the mall. Not worth driving driving far, but better pulled pork than anywhere. At least it is a closer Piping Kettle; if you came from the Masonville area.

Overpriced and not tasty at all. "Family size" I ate for 1 time. You can cook on your own much better.

This place is the amazing. I eat here regularly and the staff is always pleasant. The food is great. Never had anything but a great experience!

Ordered online tonight and was dissatisfied with my order. I didn't receive my drink, there were no crackers with the order, and I asked for honey mustard and received yellow mustard. I understand these are small things, but I'm not mad.just disappointed.

The Piping Kettle is absolutely the place for daily, made in store soups. The flavours are delicious, and the ingredients are fresh. As well, the sandwiches are very decently proportioned.

Very unprofessional, walked away from us when we were trying to order multiple times. Leaving our sandwich on the grill unintended while it overcooked. Then left it sitting getting cold without wrapping it.

I asked for my sandwich to be cut in half and the same cloth they wiped the counter down with he used to wipe off the knife that cut the sandwich.

We ordered lunch through their website, which apparently uses Doordash. When it was delivered one of the soups was missing even though it showed up on the receipt. When we called the store they basically said our only options were store credit or a refund through the app. We have been customers of this store for a while and even navigated issues like this in the past and have never had such terrible service. I guess you can't rely on your whole lunch showing up.

The broccoli and cheddar soup is delicious but the sandwich was a large dry bun with one slice of meat on it. Not much of a sandwich and very much overpriced. I will come back for soup though.
