Everyone had so much fun. The staff were wonderful. I was really impressed. Totally worth it!

Actors do amazing job! Kids have real adventures and lots of fun.
Highly recommend for kids 5-10 years.
Also it is a great idea to take own pirate accessories since kids really want to have something and you may need to buy there.
Also nearby is a great park where you can have a picnic and let children play after the pirate adventure

Our girls soccer team had the pleasure of coasting along the Rideau River with pirates Peg-Leg Pete and Muscles Russell while visiting Ottawa for a recent soccer festival. The activity was the right mix of fun and cheesy-ness as all the girls had a wonderful time. The performers were genuinely invested and put on a great show. If a picture says a thousand words, then I think by the expressions on the faces you can agree that the experience was well worth the investment.

It was fantastic. The kids had a great time, and it is entertaining for the adults as well.

This adventure was so enchanting! I loved how the whole experience was set up. Once checked in, a pirate creatively gifted us a "crew name" based on our own. I was "Letasha Lanceflamme (Flamethrower) " (we were there for the French show). Then, we were offered a pirate tattoo to add to our character:) The greeting station also had various pirate costume-wear for sale, mostly under $20 which I thought was really fun and affordable.

We were then taught some pirate shanties and away we went looking for treasure! The actors onboard were so entertaining and involved various members of the audience to take part of the storyline, which was complete with a battle on deck!

This experience is one of my favourites in Ottawa; definitely recommend!

After seeing Pirate Life at the Toronto Waterfront over the years, I had wanted to try it for a long time and was waiting till my kids were the right age. This summer they are 7.5 and 3.5 years old and so the time was right! Along with my two kids and their grandmother, we booked tickets for a Friday morning booking. As suggested in the wonderful email that comes in after your booking, we decided to go all out and dress up - it really added to the fun!

From the moment we arrived, the staff at Pirate Life were wonderful and in character. We got pirate 'tattoos' while we waited to board the pirate ship. We sailed around, totally immersed in the story being told and had the best time (even though it was a tad rainy/windy). The children LOVED firing the water cannons, and really loved it when Mom and grandma got pulled into some of the skits with the pirates.

A 10/10, a must-do for sure! We will do this again next year and I'm looking into taking a group as we loved it so much.

It was lots of fun for my 3 year old. The length of the activity was just right and it was a good spend of time and money. Great job Pirate crew!

Unique interactive fun for the kids and great city line views for the adults. The kids were entertained and the pirates put on a great show. They were also lovely to all the children before, during and after the show. Gold treasure coin was a nice touch. We loved it!

Had a great time sailing the high seas with Barbara the Terror, Captain Kraken, and Peg Leg Pete! A fun local experience, family friendly, and inclusive. We really appreciate that they took extra time to engage our young one too!

Great experience for the whole family. I really can't say enough good things about this. The actors are amazing and all the staff is so friendly snd so much fun!

My family and I had a blast watching an evening performance of Grey Ghost: Prisoners of Souls and Masts by Paper Picture Productions Inc. Watching a live play on a pirate ship while sailing on the Rideau River was heaps of fun. I would definitely recommend seeing this show if you have the time.

So much fun for pirates of all ages! I particularly liked Capitain Bucket. She is soooo funny. ;-)

Our party was comprised of adults and children under 3. Everyone loved the friendly and energetic pirate experience. Safety and fun were top priority.

I went with my 2 boys under 7 and it was amazing. Great acting and fun for the kids. Exceeded my expectations. 5/5. I'm a Liberal, non-religious, and was just a tiny bit annoyed to hear social justice buzz words like 'vegan shark' and 'gender studies' thrown out during the acting. Vegan shark makes no sense as they cannot reach the bottom of the ocean to eat plants and it's ok for them to each other fish. My 5 years, like many 5 years olds, has a lot going on in his life and doesn't need to hear subtle comments about gender studies:) Thank you.

So good guys. We are still talking about it a week later. Clearly these pirates love what they do and it shows. Fun for all ages.
Will be back and maybe even do a tour aroud ontario at every pirate ship!

What a memorable experience. This adventure was full of surprises. I was a bit concerned about feeling motion sick on the boat but the ship was well captained and I was totally fine. Loved everything about this experience - HIGHLY recommend!

I went on a pirate ship ride with my mermaid friends, and we had an AWESOME time. The pirates were hilarious and so entertaining. We all felt like we were part of the show, since mermaids and pirates go together! I would love to do this again sometime.
