BEWARE Overpriced and terrible customer service. Bought a part for a dryer and found out they are double the price you can get it for elsewhere. But I asked what if this does not fix problem he said EXACT WORDS “try it and bring it back if it doesn’t work”. The part was never used only rotated by hand and it did not fix problem. Went to return it and same person said now it’s used and he won’t return it. Then he just walked away and went into back room leaving me a counter. Save your money and compare prices at least with AMZ I could have returned it. I try to support local business but experiences like this make it hard. Their customer service was just totally awful. Lots of places to shop for stuff like this so again check around for fair pricing and also look for quality service.

Called Pirie as a local business to fix a leak in my fridge. Huge mistake! The tech who came chipped away some ice buildup, which I had to point out to him, charged me for a service call and very quickly left in his service van. A couple of days later we figured out why he was in a rush to leave. Should not have wandered too far from him while he was in our house. Thankfully a family friend fixed the issue in a matter of minutes but the Pirie experience, with this one particular tech, was simply horrible. Look elsewhere!

Pirie is the best in St. Catharines for all appliance needs. They're service and expertise shines well above the bigger stores like Goeman's or big box stores. The fact that they service what they sell makes life so much easier for the consumer, and they keep track of warranties and are always smiling and willing to help! Highly recommend - don't bother looking anywhere else!

I’ve been going to Pirie for years for all of my appliance needs and every time I go I remember why. My overhead range microwave died this past week and I took it to Pirie Wednesday afternoon and they had diagnosed and fixed the problem by Friday Night. You’ll never find that level of service at a big box store!

Went to Pirie to find a handle for my brothers fridge. Brad was an excellent help at tracking down the only handle in Ontario available and sorting out the proper parts numbers. The part came in next day which was unexpected. The staff at Pirie was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend them

Wow! What service. I just called two days ago because my gas stove wasn’t working and this morning a service man came from Pirie and replaced the igniter. I’m really sorry I didn’t get his name. He was very professional and efficient. The service charge was very reasonable. Thank you.

We've only dealt with Pirie a handful of times, but each time it's been a very painless experience.

We've walked in for replacement parts for stuff we could DIY, and they always had stock, never tried to upsell an inperson repair or service.

We've also had home visits for both our washer and dishwasher, both times the servicemen were exceptionally professional and had fair prices.

Even if we've phoned about a brand they don't service, they're quick to suggest other places or servicemen.

Wonderful service! Had the best experience getting all our appliances for a new build in the start of Covid. Highly recommend!
