Pita Bell Kabab

One of the best Kabab places in Ottawa. Their quality is always consistent and prices are good for the amount of food you get. Our number 1 destination to celebrate special events in my family.

We ordered a family platter, and even though we said half spicy and half non-spicy skewers, they all came as spicy. Our child couldn’t eat and ordered a meat pie (Turkish pide) but it was overcooked and wasn’t delicious.
We also ordered a teapot which was not hot enough, and the tea wasn’t good, it didn’t taste like a fresh one.
The music was arabesque and the ambiance definitely is zero.

Long wait for a good Shishtaouk wrap (3.7/5). It was not my favorite overall flavor and had too much liquid, which made it drip everywhere as I ate it, but it did have a fair amount of meat.

We use to go there i was always satisfied, but now the meal portion is 40% reduced, they give you small portion of rice then they use to give and the price is still the same very disappointing, that's why i give you 3 Stars

Food was delicious I never seen my kids love their dishes at a restaurant before, workers were so nice to the point where when we asked for wifi they offer Us their personal hotspot! Food was beyond delicious

The kabab platter was delicious and was well presented with garlic and hummus. Staff were professional and friendly, provided us extra fries and garlic on request. Have enjoyed my family event.

My friend ordered chicken sandwich visiting the restaurant. Firstly to note, they have a note stuck right on your face that reads - No tolerance to agressive and abusive behaviour. That just gave a thought not every restaurant sticks this to customers face. Girl on counter took the order as quick as possible and continued with her talks with another girl on counter like we interrupted them in between their discussion.

After 25mins she hands over 2 beef sandwiches. We walked out without checking and when opened it, turns out its beef. Called her, she says she goofed up orders, come back to pick yours.

She took back the one we opened and had a bite from and gave my friend her sandwich. My friend said what are you going to do about the goof up. Lady at counter with no-blink wide open-eyed stare says, I said I'm sorry, nothing more we can do for it.

Looking at our yesterday experience at another restaurant where they offered just another side dish just to keep us wait. This is what customer service is and that's why not every restaurant has to put a note to customers face about aggressive behaviour. If we want, we should be sueing this girl to make us eat something which is even against our religion. But that shameless stare was enough to explain that she won't care a bit!

Used to be a lot better, food was extremely dry. Missing items. Very sad to see nice restaurants go down hill

Amazing food. Really nice staff. Fresh and clean always. Only complaint is that I’ve been there multiple times and expressed I have a peanut/nut allergy and a nut alwsys finds it’s way on my plate. I guess many of the meals have nuts so it’s hard to avoid… and luckily my allergy is not that severe. Outside of the definitely recommend but if you have a nut allergy, even if you express your concern still check, as I’ve expressed 2 separate occasions and have had nuts in my rice. Food, staff, cleanliness all 10/10 otherwise!

Very bad customer service today I’m not satisfied
although I always come with my family to your restaurant! And you have a good food but a bad customers service! We wait me and my friend more than 30 min and we get the table in the middle I told the girl there I don't like to sit in the middle I want to set in the corner and she said Ok! Just when someone leaves the corner table you can set there she told us that! But two tables in the corner the people leave and I asked her Can I move there she said no sorry we have another customer waiting she was dishonest and careless! With us! She should be honest and respected with us

Customer service was very good. They were all very kind and responsive eventhough it was super busy. The food was cooked to perfection and meat was absolutley tender. I would definitely go back again.

Amazing BBQ and Arabic Food. They’re meats are all clean and halal. Been going there for more than 5 years now and was never disappointed. Portions are big and enough. Homemade Ayran tastes extremely good. Would recommend if looking Middle Eastern/ Arabic foods.

To be honest, i give them 1 star just for the part of the food order that we had the chanse to taste. The customer service is horrible, we've been told on the phone that no reservations are allowed but when we went there and asked to sit on an empty booth table, as there were 4 empty booth tables (more comfortable with a toddler) they said they are all reserved. When i complained they were so unprofessional and rude. In addition to the 1 hour of wait for our order to be served, they forgot to serve it all, although we asked for the missing order 2 times. We left without having all of or order, they were like ok will just remove it from the bill. So frustrating, horrible experience, so disappointing they don't deserve any star.

Absolutely one of the best kabab places in Ottawa. It’s a must try if you haven’t tried it. Service and the delicious food just make you wanting to come back again.

Worst customer service! Im not happy with this service yesterday, i came with my friend there waited over 30 min the girl there called us to come in she was very rude, disrespectable we asked her in the begin before entry we wanted to sit booth table she told us there's none available right now but if someone leave from the table you can move there two tables got empty we asked her respect way if we can move she is said NO you can't because there's people waiting she can say nice way in the beginning to us i don't have any booth table they all fully The staff at this restaurant needs to further improve their customer service!

Excellent food, generous quantity and great authentic tasting food. Presented nicely and affordable prices. Can't be beat.

Their assorted meat platter is wonderful. Meats are cooked just right and tender.

We had the feta cheese bread and it was enormous and freshly baked and awesome.

The service was a bit spotty that they didn't give us enough serving spoons but it's a minor issue really.

It's is not a 5 five star restaurant but the food is.

This is the best kabab house of Ottawa. This place reminds me of home. I highly recommend this place. My only complain is that I wish this place was available in Ubereats/delivery services.

Love. Delicious Turkish kebab - their filet mignon is amazing: we order the steak and spicy shish taok (chicken) everytime, and both are cooked to perfection almost everytime.
The staff (especially the sisters) is/are amazing. They run the place like clockwork; and I appreciate that they always take the time to acknowledge their customers, and package the food with care (even when it's crazy busy).

Best grilled chicken on charcoal in town. Prices are reasonable and quality is beyond expectations.

This is by far the best kabob shop in Ottawa. The grilled meats and chicken are tender and juicy. I ordered ahead and picked up family platters. They come with skewers of filet mignon, chicken chunks and/or ground beef, seasoned rice with raisins, grilled pita bread, salad with delicious hand crafted dressing and containers of garlic sauce and humus. The staff were friendly and responsive and the meal was well packed for carrying home. My only suggestion would be to provide for delivery to other parts of Ottawa. It is a real gem in the heart of Nepean.

Noticed inconsistent price being charged for past couple of times. Food serving is getting smaller and smaller at each visit. Really not happy with the customer service and food is not worth the price charged. I will find another Turkish restaurant as I have already advised them and they don't seems to care

One of Ottawas finest restaurants. Great customer service and food. Adana Kabab and the Filet Minion are our go to.
Pro tip: Try their fries. They go great with the garlic dip and the seasoning is soooo good!

A coworker of mine chose this place for a our team lunch of the month. We were 12 people and all of us where satisfied.

The majority of us took the Thursday dinner buffet. Fresh food kept coming out of the kitchen no problem.

Personally, I had one of those Pita-Pies. It can be distressful for me to try foreign food because of my ARFID (eating-disorder) but I ended liking it. Enough that I will consider getting some again.

We all shared a massive Kanafeh (Middle-Eastern cheese desert) and it was sooooo delicious.

We always liked the food in Pita Bell as a family. Our ast experience was even better. Regular kebab was definitely much more Turkish style, rice was great. Sides are very good as always. Servers are helpful and kind. Keep in mind that it is very busy and service is slower than many restaurants. However food in Pita Bell is unique to us. If they add Iskender again to the menu it will be even better.

Food awesome and dessert (Konafa) is great. I tried Konafa in so many places, but not as great as Pita Bell

Great food, generous portions, excellent service. The meat is flavourful, the rice is great too! My son loves their spicy bread, and their salad dressing is to die for. They’re quite busy for pickup, so wait times can be long but their food is worth the wait. Can’t wait to dine again at their restaurant once things get back to normal!

This is a wonderful take on its traditional taste even for Western population. Really good rice comparable and authentic to its competitors of other fine cuisines. The meat cooking and taste is distinct as it stands out in flavor and taste. The added topping on each item served from salad to fries to rice to pita bread and other condiments gives an extra richness and class. The prices are wonderful as I got a high quality meal of a good portion with a great taste and overall satisfaction. There are meat pies that are not cheap but huge and different that is worth a try for certain. Pace urself as u won't finish a meat pie with a meal by urself just to compare the size of meat pie being a portion for one on its own. The place is always busy so understand the weight if you are dining in or ordered on the spot. The place is clean and also traditionally unique in its set up and the vibe and presentation in general. I have been to this location many times and I have tried many items.
One problem was that the full chicken is difficult to cook and there was always small parts that did not cook well. This point is not to make this restaurant look bad.they always tried their best or maybe I'm just picky. Overall I highly recommend this place. From the reviews you can tell that I'm not the only one who liked the food even if I'm picky.

I'd give 5 stars rating but I had to to wait for the food then the grilled chicken was not well done. However, waitress proposed a compensation.

Very delicious food we enjoyed our meals prices aren't too expensive and portions are good this was our first visit we surely will visit again.

I don’t know how I didn’t know of this place before but, I was missing out big time and if you haven’t been yet, so are you. There is no place else that you will find food like theirs. The taste is indescribable with generous portions. Let me explain what the most important part of this all is, I have severe allergies to nuts and sesame. So wherever I go whether it’s a Shawarma place or any other Middle Eastern restaurant, they never take it seriously. I’ve had many reactions and even as far as having hummus in a sandwich when I specifically mentioned a severe allergy. At Pita Bell, I have not gotten that experience once. Fatima is the kindest soul out there, she took my allergies seriously even with how hectic and busy things are and her running around. She would come check making sure everything is okay and it made me feel so happy to have someone finally care and it’s what made me trust to keep going back. Sometimes cross contamination can happen and that’s at my own risk but I know that here they are trying their best. They are always very busy and of course it’s reasonable to why that is. Fatima and all the other staff run around all day back and forth and I don’t know how they do it. I swear they deserve very extreme recognition because I’ve witnessed many rude customers and they are overwhelmed and still do a mind blowing job. If I was in their place, I’d collapse and I hope the owner of the restaurant is very proud of them. Thank you for your work, it’s not gone unrecognized and I really truly appreciate you. Fatima, YOU deserve the kindest people in your life in return for your kindness.

There is everything to love about Pita Bell. They give humongous portions with just the right amount of seasoning. Their dine-in service is fast and they have proper dividers set up for COVID. Overall, it was one of the most satsifying kebab experiences I've had in the city.

One of my favourite Arab cuisine. The family and the staff who run this restaurant are wonderful and amazing. The food is superb, the location is very clean, and the location has a good parking area. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Amazing food and excellent quality. Fresh also. I would highly recommend trying their kababs - both regular and adana kababs. Adana kababs are a bit spicy so you can always have the non spicy one when u order regular ones

This was my favourite restaurant. This time I was disappointed. I picked up my order went home and found box of French fries half empty. Rice served is not as good as it used to be. Kebab skewers are getting smaller. Please fix it before it's too late.

I was visiting Toronto and I heard about Pita Bell Kabab so I went to try it and I could tell you that I didn't regret trying it one bit. I highly recommend this place to people, families and friends wanting to have a good time and a nice full belly. But seriously you should go and try it for yourself.
