The portions are HUGE and falafel just heavenly DELICIOUS!

I tried many Shawarma Places in Vaughan and Richmond Hill and Pita Golden-Pocket beats them all by a long shot! 1) the meat is delicious 2) the ingredients are fresh 3) the portions are plentiful (very much so!) 4) the owners cheerful and welcoming attitude makes you leave this restaurant not only full but with a smile on your face.

The shawarma sandwich are the best, very generous portions, very tasty and fresh. During the hours place is very busy, but it's worth the wait.

Was there yesterday. I had falafel with humus and a Shawama wrap. First I asked for 5 falafel balls (they gave me 10 and French fries on the house). The taste was great, not too spicy and very fresh. The humus and the sauce with the falafel was just perfect. The shawarma wrap that my partner had was delicious and with so much chicken THEY ARE SO GENEROUS WITH THE PORTIONS - consistent with the reviews. The portions are so big. Great service, very friendly and high quality and a the quantity that you will seldom find in a fast food type location. Don’t let the line up scare you. They move fast. I guess this location does not need a marketing specialist the quality of the food will bring the customers back.

First time to this place. A friend recommended it to me and came with me for lunch. Owners were very friendly and welcoming and didnt put any spicy sauce in for me which was great. The portion sizes were huge. And owner put some rips in the wrapper to make it easier to eat. Was fantastic. Thank you

I had to use the washroom afterwards, that is a good thing. The mango curry sauce leaked all the way down to my a$$

In all seriousness, this pita is so big I cannot eat it without falling apart. I needed to use utensils for my wrap by the end.

My husband has been going to this place for years. He introduced me to it about 4 years ago, and I can definitely understand his obsession with it. Their food is always made to order and is quite tasty. Their toppings are always fresh. This father-son duo is doing an incredible job! They're always in a good mood and accommodating to requests. Their house sauces are all delicious and unique, the mango is our favourite. The meat/protein and toppings are stacked generously, regardless of whether you get a wrap or a dinner. They tear part of the wrapper so that it can be opened easily. Once the dad even cut up my shawarma into "sushi" for me, so it was easier to eat. Lovely little place. No complaints whatsoever. 5/5 highly recommend this hidden gem.

I always go to this place when I don’t have anything for lunch. The chicken shawarma was one of the best I ever had, also they give you a huge serving of it so tasty, delicious and worth the price. Highly recommended.

This place has been around for over 17 years, just found it recently and it's so good I'm now a regular. Bring your appetite the wraps are huge!

Hands down the best shawarma I've had in my life. Staff is friendly and accommodating. 10/10 would recommend.

Portions are amazing for the price and the flavours are great. Could easily be two meals, but I usually finish in one. Had both the falafel and chicken shawarma and they're amazing. I recommend this place constantly to people I know. If you want the shawarma then try to be there as early as possible. They usually sell out towards the end of the day and only have falafel, which is still very tasty.

Amazing people working there, very nice, happy guys. They're a great conversation and passionate about their food. I'd give them 6 stars out of 5 based on that. NOW, let's talk about the shwarma. Such huge portions, and you feel amazing afterward. The taste is incredible it deserves 7 stars out of 5. I recommend this place to everyone 6 out of 5 stars.

Shawarmas here are fantastic, paradise! $13 for a falafel/chicken shawarma wrap that is accompanied with generous portions. Fresh falafels/chicken, fresh salad selection and fresh homemade sauces too. I personally love the owner’s signature hot sauce and yellow sauce that wasn’t mustard but contributed to a very strong flavourful kick.

Mind you, the portions are very generous that you will very likely need to share it or bring your leftovers back home. The father & son duo here are extremely passionate about their food which are strongly evident in the high quality of the food served here.

A big added bonus is the cheerfulness and humour by the owners which brightens up your day during your quick lunch visit here. I can already see myself as a regular patron of this family run establishment.

Best shawarma iv ever had.ive been going here for years.everytime i go the owner and his family treat me like a king. Shawarma is stuffed with the most flavourful chicken and fresh ingredients and home made sauses.oh the mango sause and hot sause is to die for. LOVE IT. FANTASTIC!

I was going to take a photo but realized there was nothing left. Giant portions, got the plate and 5 falafals on side. I never ate a sharmama that filled me up like a buffet like this. 10/10

This place has true soul and you can feel the love as you walk up and witness the customer service and interaction with ownership. The things that other places lack Pita Golden Pocket provides from the quality of food, price point and portions (did I mention the potions!) If I am ever in the area it's a must go to lunch spot. Highly recommend

Best chicken shawarma in the GTA! Insanely generous amount of chicken, they even give you some to try sometimes. Best customer service, very friendly staff. Must try 5 star.

The service is exceptional (they provided a small plate of the chicken Shawarma meat for us to try, without us even asking), the food tastes great (the chicken shawarma was fantastic with meat that melted in your mouth) and they give you more food than you could possibly eat in one sitting.

The best shawarma in the gta hands down. The service is an 11/10 better than any other restaurant. And the portions are absolutely perfect, they also give you the right amount of toppings and sauces.

The shawarma here is life-changing. For $13, you get a huge wrap filled with meat cooked to perfection, veggies and delicious sauces. I was a bit skeptical of the mango sauce but it works. Mr.fantastic and his family exceed my expectations of customer service which is why I come here regularly when I am in the area!

OMG! That is the best tasting shawarma I've ever had! I will definitely go out of my way to have another.i would rate 6stars but there is only 5 star's the portions are large worth every penny.the shawarma wrap was so big I had to get help to carry it.

Honestly, Amazing service. You don't just make a connection with the staff but the shawarma is massive and incredible. Unlike other places definitely not stingy with the meat. Drove all the way from Mississauga for it and will do it again. Trust me is worth it.

Tried Chicken shwarama and Falafel sandwich and they were just so great. People at the store are so friendly and awesome.
Its a definite try and you will not regret.

Best shawarma hands down. I would drive out of my way to get it. Family run restaurant. Every time I'm amazed how he can put so much meat in one wrap. Super juicy and tasty. Be ready to get a bit messy and most likely you would want to take a nap after lunch hehe. You won't be disappointed

Worth the trip from anywhere if you're looking for the best falafel or chicken shawarma sandwiches (wraps) in the GTA and beyond. The freshest ingredients, great flavour, remarkably generous portions, and friendly service: it doesn't get any better than this.

OMG! This place is a gem! Staff is so nice and friendly, they even offered complementary pops, taste is the best out of all the shawarma’s i have tried yet, chicken is juicy and tender! Even Falafel is very tasty. Will visit again and recommend to all.

Food portions are huge. The seating gives feeling of 80s. The garlic sauce is not too strong which is good because you don't feel like as you have eaten a raw garlic.

Huge shawarmas at a price of $13. This shawarma place is alright, if only they had a choice of either Large shawarma or med/smaller size at a lower price point. I like to eat shawarmas often, with this price range and size, cannot have this on the daily.

Taste was great but not the best. I've had shawarmas way smaller than this but bursting with flavour.

We stopped there to celebrate my work colleague birthday. The food is excellent, very generous portions, fair price, very friendly owners. FANTASTIC experience, highly recommended!
