Overpriced, no sauce in the shawarma, the workers put two pieces of every topping you ask for.

This is my go-to Shawarma place when I'm downtown. The staff is very friendly and they get my chicken shawarma going as soon as I walk in. When we dine-in, sometimes they throw in a falafel piece or a side of soup. That's a nice touch.

Place was super stingy about portion and gave less food. When asked for extra sauce they looked shocked. For $17 you could get a large that’s super filling in osmos and food wasn’t even that good. Definitely not worth

Pathetic food store. Serving stale chicken shawarma from previous days and beef and lamb is not freshly prepared. Provide way less portions size and overpriced menu. Little amount Garlic Sauce served on the side.

Whenever I’m in downtown this is my go to place! The food is delicious, the customer service is top notch, the portions are very filling! It’s an amazing location and the little patio in the summer has an amazing view of the CN tower! I always leave satisfied and excited for my next visit!

We stopped in here on the way to a concert and noticed how clean it was. The Sharma and falafel were good. A little pricy though this shouldn't be surprising given the location - still cheaper than eating in the arena.

One huge dussapoint was there was no identifiable recycling bin and one one of the dishes was served to us in styrofoam. In 2022 you can DO BETTER. There is no excuse not to offer recycling and still be serving cold dishes in styrofoam.

Worst. EMPLOYEES WERE SELLING BAD ATTITUDES over food. They don’t listen to you and ignore you regardless what you say. Food is not worth the cost. Awful and disrespectful.

Dry meat, small portion, totally over priced. Much better Pita/shwarma options in the city. Not a good spot

I spend more than $100 on my order, and when you ask for extra sauce they will charge you. Bring your own sauce if you can.

Order a gyros lamb and beef for 11.99$ But to my big surprise i receive a pita lettuce sandwich with one slice of dog meat in it with some special sauce avoid this place at ALL COST

Place is close to Roger's Centre and that's the only reason we ventured for a shawrma sandwich. The lady was literally weighing the garlic sauce when I asked for more. Meat (beef) was stringy and overall a subpar shawerma for 12 dollars. Anyhow won't be coming here again.toppings were not much and asking for more just won't work here.

Horrible service, staff are so unprofessional and are showing angry attitude. They give one napkin for 4 orders of food for 4 people. You ask for more and they stare at you. They won't give pita bread that comes with the order, when asked they show attitude.

Ordered a Chicken Shwarma sandwich but it felt like I ate a lettuce wrap, hardly any chicken. Usually I really enjoy Pita & Grill, especially Mississauga location but this place was very disappointing.

Customer service was terrible and food portions were ridiculous and overpriced.not worth it go to the Mexican place beside it and have their nachos instead

Overpriced like hell for the smallest portions. They don't follow your instructions & will mess up your order.
Stay away you'll waste your time money & health going here.

Very cozy place, love the beef shawarma wrap and the location (close to union station) makes it perfect for a quick lunch break. All of the staff are amazingly polite and helpful as well.

Got chance to taste the CHICKEN SHaWARMA at PIta AND GRILL located at toronto. I swear you will not regret for that. Have the best quality and quantity.

Stingy and pricey. A small container of fries, chicken, sauce is $15. No way in hell am I coming back.

Pretty dissapointed there was barely any toppings available and the garlic sauce was watery. The worst shawarma place I've been to, I think the location is the only thing keeping this place alive.

This is a platter for 20$. Not worth it at all!
Asked for 2 platters: mixed and one chicken only. He gave both chicken platters not mixed. Not only that, the food was really bad. I was physically sick after eating it and so was my son.
Avoid this place. Would not recommend.

Awful. Had no toppings for my shwarma wrap and wouldn’t let customers use the washroom. Go anywhere else.

The rice is bad quality from its taste you can feel it's old. The food quantity is little doesn't match with the high price of each order very little meat and the quality was bad as well. In general it was really bad experience to have my meal in this restaurant I don't recommended find somewhere else to have your food it is very bad restaurant.

Staff need more training. Arrived there around 8 PM staff is very rude they lack customer service experience.

The Chicken shawarma is so tasty. It's super close to union Station. Staff is so professional and place is clean and tidy. Most importantly it's the only Halal option nearest to the union Station.

Barely put any chicken on my plate and when i asked to add more she hit me with a "it will be $5 more". You could tell the turnips were old and not fresh.

I drove from Arizona with my family, past many states, and stopped at many restaurants. Never have I ever had such a good experience like in Pita and Grill. The service was very fast and friendly, the food was excellent and restrooms were clean. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. I wish we had more places like this in the states.

Overrated. Small portion of meat on lamb shawarma, also does not taste fresh. Server taking order was not very friendly.

Grabbed a tasty falafel from this conveniently located shawarma place next to the Scotia Bank Arena, CN tower, Rogers centre, Metro Can Center, etc. Service was quick, nice and efficient. Will go again!

I came in with my family to eat, the people were very friendly. I live in Toronto and I come here everyday at lunch, no other place can beat this! The food is very good, I reccomend to others. This place makes me feel like home with all the nice staff.

Only shawarma place that does not give hummus with a Sharmarma chicken plate.
Very poor service - have to ask for garlic, hot sauce and pita for a $14 plate! On top of that, the guy at the cash wonders why people don’t tip them.
Word of advice - Never too late to up your customer skills before the customers stop coming!

This was my first time visiting Toronto. I have been in other places but everything costs a lot and the food isn't that good, but this place is very good. A nice atmosphere, friendly staff, big portions, and is inexpensive. I would recommend this to others!

I drove here for the second time and this is the one place where there’s something good to eat. I know in this place you can eat good food in a nice and clean atmosphere. Fresh food and good size food for next to nothing.

Today I was there, this was my first time. I tried there Chicken Wrap with all the vegis the had.
Along with a Canada Dry tinpack.
It costs around 12$ which is reasonable but still the taste was very bad.
Chicken smell like it burnt.
Highly unrecomended.

The food was good, no other place could get it right. I would recommend this place! The portions are good sizes, they offered free soup too which was delicious.

They serve Shawarma.its a middle eastern plate. Yet if you ask for any extras.they will give you the dirtiest look. Stingy owners.stingy business and If you don't understand Arabic food.why are you offering it to your customers? There is this one guy there, he seems to be the owners son.pretty sure he is from India. He will watch others make plates and whisper to them about the portions. So unprofessional. I argued with him once and he had the nerve to basically say "take your money and go else where". You just earned yourself a nice Review and 0 stars for your snobby dirty attitude. Next time you want to deal with customers, learn some manners at home and then present yourself well in public.

I really want to like Pita & Grill since it’s a short walk from my place, but it just comes short of what I expect from a shawarma joint, especially at their prices. Over the years I’ve been a handful of times when I’m realllly craving shawarma. Most recently I got a chicken shawarma plate, which was basically just rice and chicken with garden salad on the side and a small cup of garlic sauce. No seasoned potatoes, no option for hot sauce, no choice of fattoush instead of garden salad. Not sure how much of this is restaurant policy vs the staff who struggle with English. Anyway, if you’re new to Middle Eastern food, I’d ask that you check out a higher rated place that puts a lot more love into their food. If you’re just craving shawarma and don’t care about price, this will do. Ending on a bright note, the rice was surprisingly good.:)

The extra star is only because the food was rather good. Otherwise, this establishment does not deserve a star, after the shockingly atrocious service. We ordered three plates-or platters-along with several drinks. We asked for extra tahini sauce, each serving of which is barely a teaspoon, if that much. The server-Diana-told us that there is a charge of $. 50 for extra tahini. Appalled, we said, "Forget it. " We've already given them over $50, and they care about an extra $. 50. Yet, at the end of our meal, we looked at the menu overhead and realized that our food was supposed to be served with bread. When we approached Diana, now that our meal was finished, she unapologetically said, "I can give you the bread now, if you'd like. It is NOT my job to offer you the bread with the meal; you have to ask for it. " What a welcome to Toronto. Never returning to this joint.

We went there to grab a quick bite during lunch time. Despite being busy, the service was quick and the food was tasty. The staff here is friendly and look happy that you can see they enjoy working in that place.

Not just the food or the staff, the interior of this restaurant is pretty cool too. They have a wall which is decorated with frame of funny quotes that once you start reading one, you'll find yourself reading more and more quotes there.

All in all, this is a very good place if you wish to grab a quick bite.

Expensive, small portion yet ordinary taste/quality. Paying 15$ for a bit of rice, meat and salad is too much (even you wont get full). The actual price should be around 7 or 8 box. There are tons of other restaurants nearby with higher quality food at more reasonable price. Avoid it as much as I can unless balance their price.
