Pita lite Shawarma

I was there couple of days ago. I had amazing experience with customer service. The guy (Dishant- who was serving) was so friendly and poliet. I would love to revisit this place.

Best place on Eglinton by far! I have been going there almost every day since changing job locations and the guys there are the sweetest, most friendly people I’ve encountered in the service industry. The food is amazing, the quality topnotch and portions are huge. Thank you soo much to Milin, Kaumil and Dishant for making my day

I would like to give thumbs up to this place and as specially to the staff member (Milin and Kaumil). They are grating the guest very well and doing the best for the restaurant. The best dish is chicken shawarma on the rice. Must try it out.

Chicken Shawarma and falafel are amazing! Ingredients are fresh, and service is great! Great value and would recommend.

This place is very near where I work. I ate there several times hoping it would be different each time but no. They burn, literally burn the meat. They put very little meat and charge you unfairly considering the amount they serve and comparing it to other shwarma places. I paid nearly 20 for shwarma on fries and there was no salad, no side, no pickle, nothing beside, not even the drink. But more importantly, it always tastes bad, burnt, etc. And I am not sure if they are washing the parsley before they prepare tabule.

I recently visited Pita lite, to my dismay the flies were all around the food, when. I objected this, they expressed their helplessness, the staffs are not co-operative n sounded rude

Excellent food even though uber eats is a cruel mistress it was delivered hot still and crispy and tasty falafel 100% times infinity million. Give these employees a raise right now! Says me, the customer. Love you

The food is OK but it is pointless to order takeout in advance the staff is mostly asleep and the order is never ready. Avoid if you are using Ritual.

Basically the same as Maybe's except portion size is at most 1/2 of what you used to get for the same price. When you open up a chicken on the rice it just looks sad.

Wow, now they know how to make falafel. I took a chance on them and it was definitely worth it. Get the deluxe wrap, for a dollar more, you get delicious toppings. With the cost of takeout at the moment, you might think they are probably expensive. Not at all. Well worth the trip and the hours are amazing, they stay open late.
Best part was they make the falafel balls on the spot. Not like some other places which simply throw pre-made falafel into the fryer and heat it up. A huge portion, will fill you up.
This place is all about the food. If you love falafel, you must try it here.

It was the first time we ordered their meal through Ubereat. They sometimes have great deals on the app.

We ordered two chicken shawarma plates (BOGO free deal), samosas and some sweets. Their chicken shawarma, salad and rice were very delicious. I also like their samosa and sweet very much!
But I wish they could give more sauce because, at the end of the meal, the rice and chicken were a bit too dry.

Overall, I was delighted, mainly because their delicious food and BOGO were the best.

I am vegetarian so can't review all the options. But very limited veggie options, decent taste and value for money. Easy on the pocket, service is a bit on the slower side. Good for lunch, I go there at least once a week.

Dear Pita Lite,

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent experience at your establishment. As a regular customer of shawarma restaurants, I was excited to try out your restaurant, but unfortunately, my visit was a complete disaster.

Firstly, the food was not up to the mark. The shawarma I ordered was dry, bland, and lacked the authentic flavors I expected. Moreover, the hygiene standards were unacceptable. The food looked old and unappetizing, and it was clear that it had been sitting out for too long.

Secondly, the customer service was appalling. The staff was rude, unhelpful, and seemed disinterested in their job. They didn't apologize for the poor quality of the food and didn't offer any solutions or compensation.

Overall, my experience at your restaurant was horrible, and I would not recommend it to anyone. I was expecting a pleasant and enjoyable meal, but instead, I got terrible food and terrible service. I hope you take my feedback seriously and make the necessary changes to improve your standards.

I really love this food, I like the sauce and the best part was they got my shawarma for FREE because I was allergic too my brothers wrap.

Definitely worth coming here for the daily special! Words can’t describe how good of a shawarma they make here! It’s definitely one of the best I’ve ever had!

The staff is always nice and courteous. Prices are decent, and I pick the chicken shawarma wrap most of the time.

Pita lite review:
The restaurant has deteriorated across the board as far as food quality and preparation is concerned. Even the staff are abit confused. They used to have 2-3 people working at this location which was formerly known as Maybe's but now has gone to the dumpster unfortunately.

My review when this was Maybe's:
I've ordered upwards of 50x from Maybe's and have never been disappointed. Their menu's are simple and perhaps why their options are all incredible.
-Excellent tasting and fresh food
-Very clean restaurant
-Super friendly and respectful staff
-Very fairly priced

The worst shawerma, I ever had, they do not use fresh meat, the meat portion was so small and they call it large meal, you waste your money if you go there. Also they charge 19$ for a low quality shawerma plate. ITS A RIP OFF.

Over good. Just one small thing. Seedless olives would be great. It's annoying to spit out those olive seeds.

Great food, friendly servers. Flies crawling on all the food and at least 10 flies flying around and landing on customers. If you love pita but don't care about hygiene, this is the place for you.

What a RIP OFF! Anyone thinking to order UberEats from here think again. These liars serve you a child's sized portion of food. False advertising by Pita Lite.

Sad to see what Pita Lite (one of the worst shawarmas i’ve ever tried) ruined this place. Funny how the glowing reviews come from people that have previously given 5 stars to a Pita Lite in Woodbridge. Fake reviews will only get you so far with terrible food and service.

Guy who took my order must’ve been on his first day of the job with no idea how to make or wrap a shawarma. My shawarma was very loosely wrapped in a flour tortilla and looked like it had been barely on the grill. Don’t know if this is the new normal or they ran out of saj that day. My review isn’t on that one guy who made my shawarma but that nobody seemingly cares about running a business at this location. If the owners pay for management of any kind, they’re being had because there apparently isn’t any.

Had chicken salad bowl. Was greeted right away with a smile. Amazing staff. Good portion size. Now is my go to place for dinner.

I wish I could give 0 stars, I placed an order for chicken shawarma over rice and this is what I got, just rice. When I contacted them they said come to there store and show the pic and take your replacement. I don't have a car so I am supposed to take an uber spend 30 bucks for this kind of non sense. These guys are running a scam. DO NOT ORDER from here.

Best food and best customer service?

They used to be called Maybe's Shawarma and they were pretty great. But I visited after they be and Pita lite. The food was good but I wish they didn't have flies flying about in the restaurant.

I love Pita Lite Shawarma but my experience at this location was not good. They put too much hot sauce that make food uneatable.

It’s a buy one get one Shawarma Rice order. The server fill up the full quantity in one box and half quantity in another box. It’s a cheating with the customer. If you can’t afford to give equal full quantity in both boxes then please don’t give such offer.
Also, no customer parking available at 188 Eglinton Ave E location.

Bunch of liars! Whats advertised and what they give are totally different. A falafel combo as advertised shows many falafels. In reality, they only give you three (photos attached). Bloody liars. Whats the address of the ethical business watchdogs in Ontario?

It aint the same as the previous owners but its still good eats. Ordered a gyro plate which was good. Ample veggies and tasty beef gyro. My biggest concern is how these guys dont wear any beard nets. Health and safety i guess isnt the priority. If you want a little bit of hair, this is your restaurant.

Formally known as Maybes Restaurant, Pita Lite Shawarma is a Mediterranean restaurant one-must-eat. The location from where I ate and took this photo is in the heart of midtown Toronto (Yonge-Eglinton) ; its address is 188 Eglinton Ave E Unit 102, Toronto, ON, M4P 2X7. I have been dining inside and outside this Mediterranean restaurant for five years and will continue doing so—a must-try eatery.

Shiv was amazing and so sweet. He was a pleasure and I'll def come back just because of him.

Worst food ever! Me and my partner both got very sick from this place! The costumer service was unprofessional and the food is not even cooked properly. Portions are very small. Rice was very oily and tasteless.the chicken shawarma was not cooked at all! We both got very sick right after eating it. I do not recommend this place! Never stopping by again

They charge for one chicken shawarma 7.95 and wrap full of the veggies there’s no chicken, this restaurant doesn’t deserve to be in eglinton area

Since this location has changed from Maybes to Pitalite the quailty of both the food and service has decreased significantly. Chicken is much worse that previously. There is still not beef or Gyro option like there was in the past. Prices are slightly better but do not make up for the drop in quailty at all. The staff are clearly undertrained and were left to fend for themselves. Really unfortunate that a really good business has had such an unfortunate downturn.

The staff at Pita Lite were really nice, kind and attentive. I like the rice they use because it's a longer grain like Indian Basmati. Their potatoes are a weak point they should improve upon, because if they do a good roasted potato side, they can be even more popular. The shwarma chicken can be a bit so-so and that needs improvement too.
