Do yourself a favor and stop by Pita on the Run while you’re in Niagara. Food was great with excellent flavor and only bested by the kind service. We were only in town for one night but came here twice. Ps. The Masala Chai is amazing. Be prepared to wait as they make it for you from scratch.
The only place in niagara region should have the 5 stars, i recommed it so strong.the food was delicious and the service was excellent, generous in the portions and freshly cooked.see you soon guys, God Bless You
We discovered "Pita on the Run" in Niagara Falls, Canada, during our visit from Virginia through Google. We ordered the "Beef Shawarma, " "Chicken Shawarma, " and "Nihari, " and they were all delicious. The customer service was excellent, and we'll definitely return on our next Canada trip. Highly recommended!
I was really wanting to try the shawarma here due to all the good reviews. Unfortunately they don't have a home made or real spicy hot sauce. Because of this, I did not order, shawarma without spice just isn't right.
Tried this restaurant today and we thoroughly enjoyed the chicken shawarma platters and the Zinger burgers. The chicken shawarma is more of a desi style than an arabic shawarma style but it still tastes flavourful and is tender. The white sauce and hot sauce added some good complimentary flavour as well. The rice tasted good and the hummus was fresh and topped with olive oil and we ate that with the pita. The salad consisted of chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, celery and cucumber and the dressing was a Caesar I believe. Overall the platter was well portioned, fresh and tasty.
The kids liked the Zingers alot and I was happy to see the lady followed my Uber notes and made 1 plain as requested.
Also, the staff was nice and pleasant. They asked my 9 year old his name and gave him some candy.
Had one of the best beef shawarma wraps I have had and I have traveled all over North America. The owner was extremely nice and very helpful. We got them to go and they were still nice and warm when we got back to the hotel. Thoroughly impressed and will be suggesting to everyone!
If you haven't tried this place, go now! The food was absolutely amazing, fresh made to order, delicious and the service was even better! So happy we found this place! ️
Wow! Excellent shawarma in Niagara Fall, I tried many available halal options of shawarma in NF, so far this is the best one. Owner (Asif) is very welcoming, lots of food options to choose from and great price considering the serving portion. Worth the money.
A really good place to have halal food if you are really hungry and on a budget. We tried their chicken biriyani and butter chicken, and the chicken samosa to start with. The chicken samosa is a bit oily, but the butter chicken has plenty of gravy and the biriyani is really flavourful. Service is really nice, however, they dont have seating arrangements for a large group.
Good and yummy tasty food with good customer service … helpful staff! Well me and my family ordered mix platter on bored wer it taste yum with good aroma and flavored with mixture of spice … recommend this restaurant for tasty and hygiene Food!
The Hakka style chicken lollipops are a must try. I haven't eaten such in Niagara or anywhere else. The food otherwise is also the best quality and delicious
Order chicken skewers plate and it was so delicious that it makes me feel to go back. Place was nice and clean. Good prices. They have zinger burger which is also one of fav. They also do catering. Highly recommended for Halal foods.
We had recently tried their biryani, sheesh kabob, butter chicken and chicken shawarma and samosas. Everything was so great. I heard that they are adding a dine in option soon as well. Can't wait to order again. Keep up the good food guys.
Got the sheesh tawook and all I can say is this is the best meal I have had in a long time. Very flavourful and tasty. This restaurant is a must try for everyone
If you’re looking for authentic shawarma this is not the place. Highly recommend going to Iskender instead went here because they were unfortunately closed. Big mistake.
Fam and I were visiting from New York to see the falls from the Canadian side. Checked this little gem out. We ordered rolls- super yum! Definitely recommend️
I just moved to Niagara Falls and was looking for my new shawarma spot. Finally found it. Very tasteful, great and friendly service, will definitely returning soon. Thank you!
One of the pathetic garbage Shawarma plater i have ever with curry chicken topping. Rice was not fresh heated up in microwave. In 15$ you can have best shawarma plate from any Good real Arabic Shawarma’s place.
Ordered chicken shawarma combos. Dine in was close. Small place to take out. They don’t have see through screen to see the ingredients of the shawarma. I asked the guy to skip onions in all shawarma but he forgot to do it. Taste was not authentic as the guy was Indian not Arabic. Not sure if owners are Arabic or not as they were offering Indian and Pakistani food too.
The foods are so good. My family love the taste. One of the best halal food in Niagara. Definitely it will become our first list to get food whenever we visit Niagara Falls.
Took lot of time to prepare food Zinger was average Nihari was good Chanay pori was good Pita on the run mix is there speciality but unfortunately the taste was below average the kababs are bit hard to chew
I ordered the chicken shawarma Plate and this is not Authentic shawarma. The chicken had a texture of tuna. Garlic sauce was barely there. Salad was soggy. Definitely disappointed. The hummus and the pita was the best thing on the plate. The service was also good, greeted upon entry but overall would not visit again.
Tried the Zinger as he recommended it as well as beef schwarma. Was really good, better than a lot of places, location is great too! Close to Niagara falls
This was my second visit. The first time I ordered their kebab platter which was great so I tried their chicken biryani. Sorry to say, total disaster. I hope this is just a one off. I was expecting the biryani to have garlic, ginger, onion, green chili, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom but there was only ghee, food color and a little black pepper. Zero flavor, disappointingly spiceless and "soul-less". The portion was generous and the chicken breast was moist - but again, zero flavor.
Fresh and healthy chicken shawarma made with love. Our order took 15 minutes to be prepared but worth the wait.
We also ordered sheesh tawook platter which had chicken skewer, rice, fatoush salad, hummus, and pita. It too was delicious and fresh. We wished there was twice as much salad.
We will definitely go again.
Thank you Gagan and Amin for your courteous service and preparing delicious food for your clients.

Ordered Halwa Puri from here. It’s just like home made food. Quantity and taste both were good. Food was prepared only after I placed an order. Do try their breakfast combo menu. (Puri, Chana, Potato curry and Halwa)
The restaurant has a great portion for the price and the hummus and rice were good. I ordered the shawarma platter but if you are from Ottawa and are expecting authentic- tasting Ottawa-level shawarma, you will be disappointed. It seems like good shawarma is hard to find in Niagara.
There were no turnips, pickles, hot peppers, or that fluffy garlic sauce you find in Ottawa included and the chicken tasted like it was made in a pan, not a rotisserie. It also has a somewhat sweet taste to it which I was not a fan of. I'm sure if you've never had authentic shawarma, you wouldn't mind it (if you don't mind sweet flavours) as it is by no means disgusting. It is simply not the taste I was looking for
Great restaurant, food was well cook but the employee didn't have a mask on but understood the reason (medical exemption, mask exemption). I really recommend to go to this fantastic restaurant.
We had amazing food at this restaurant close to Niagra Falls. It was homestyle cooking that was made fresh to order. We ordered chicken shawarma wraps and chicken burgers with fries. Our family loved the food, especially the burgers! The best part was that it was halal! Thank you!
Niagara Falls does not have a lot of halal options, so It is nice to have a family owned halal restaurant in the area. I have tired the desi dishes here and some are great and some are average but I cant really complain because Niagara is not like the GTA where competition is high. The halwa is amazing on the weekend. I always call in advance and whenever I get there my order is never ready even after 20-30 mins. It would be great if the staff could move faster the taste of some foods improve like Biryani.
Delicious food with love. Good customer service and staff behaviour is so polite, specially the girl working at front. I’m vegetarian so, I love their veggie burger which is too delicious.
I never write these but I am so heated rn.im A returning customer left very upset. I’ve ordered here quite a few times. Always had such a pleasant experience but today was complete opposite. I ordered mobile pick up which is what I usually do, and asked for sauce on the side. We ordered quite a lot because we were eating at the park as a family. Utensils are usually included. I asked beforehand on phone. They weren’t this time for some reason they prob forgot and forgot alll the sauces (asked for them on the side) and chutney. So I had to take a whole trip back to pick some up. By this time our food was cold. A waste of money basically 90$ 3 platters grape leaves, samosas poutine all cold. I know mistakes happen but it was still irritating to make this trip back for them. I was however fine with it all until coming back to a very rude worker who tried to charge me 1$ for each sauce? You were not doing me a favour. It was supposed to be included. So disappointed in the service I received a sorry would’ve sufficed instead of giving me attitude. Will be making sure friends and family know
Very soggy salad and it’s not chicken shawarma. Shawarma comes on a rotisserie spit. This chicken sits in a pan in Indian juices. As far as Mediterranean/Indian/Pita goes, this is pretty low grade if you’ve had it from decent places before.
I am really disappointed that I didnt come across this restaurant earlier. There is no other indian/pakistani restaurant in Niagara Falls/Thorold/St. Catherines that comes close to the taste and quantity of this restaurant! The Nihari was fabulous! The biryani was the best I have eaten in the last while.
Best food in Niagara Falls I spent three days in Niagara Falls, I tried several restaurants in the area, this one was the best among all of them in terms of quality and price. I highly advise people to visit this restaurant and they will not regret it at all. But try to make it for launch or early dinner as they close so early at 8: 00 PM.
Good food and excellent service. Ordered chicken shawarma and chicken wings. Very well prepared. I will certainly recommend friends to try out their menu.
Best restaurant for veggies also as i love to eat falafal, samosa chat, platter. Taste is very delicious also employees are treating nicely. Customer service is awesome
Best falafel ever, super fresh and all homemade! Owners are super sweet every time I come in and make you feel welcomed and comfortable. I highly recommend!
Not sure if its was time of day cause I went there right after 11. But there was nothing being cooked fresh. I got a chicken shawarma plate. The chicken clearly had not been on a rotisserie cause there were no crisp ends to it. It appeared to be made in a slow cooker. The rice was not heated in a frying pan as almost all other shawarma places do. The Salad wasn't cold either and the hummus was gross. It tasted like a watery ground chickpea. I've made my own and know the difference. There was no tahini or garlic in it.
First time here and very disappointed that nothing was fresh. You pay for fresh food it should be cooked fresh each time, especially the chicken.
If I could I would give it 0 stars. The chicken shawarma was anything but good. Disgusting and it has no taste! The rice was the kind you would get on a low cost airline. The chicken was tasteless and tasted nothing like chicken. The only good thing was that the people working there were nice and funny. Worst restaurant I've ever been too, would NEVER recommend or come here again! This restuarant is a disgrace to arabic and cuisine.
Very good and economical halal option in Niagara region. Took a while to get the biryani order filled so call an hour ahead. Rotisserie was very dry. Humor was condescending and nit-picky, we all (4 people) felt uncomfortable. Simply being pleasant instead of nit-picking customers' questions would have earned the 5th star. Will I go here again? Probably yes due to lack of options but will avoid small talk
