It is unacceptable that this franchise cannot adhere to their store hours. The store hours say it opens at 11: 00 a.m. On sundays, but I waited outside the store until 11: 27 a.m. That is 27 minutes late that is completely unacceptable
The slowest worker I’ve ever met. The guy with the 5%er tattoo on his neck. It literally took him 25 minutes to make one pita. He couldn’t even open up the pita bread he threw 3 of them out by messing them up. I think it’s time to reevaluate your workers shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes to make a pita.
Visited this location right after lunch rush hour. Expect long wait times, was there for at least an hour. I ordered a gluten free pita and was asked 3 times if I wanted white or whole wheat and had to reiterate it was gluten free. The tables and eating spaces were not clean, in addition to “tired” vegetables. The lettuce was brown and when asked if there was fresh lettuce available (on two different occasions), the two female employees abruptly dismissed my request. As myself and 3 people sat there enjoying our pitas, they brought out fresh lettuce. Overall it was a fine lunch, however we felt the staff members were rather rude and didn’t care about our experience.
I always love going to the Pita Pit. They have amazing food that is healthy for you that you can have wrapped up into some pita bread! If you are fully vaccined you can even be able to eat at the place. I definitely recommend.
Edit: Still love coming here, love the food and the prices as well! Always nice to go and grab a large pita wrap for around $11, and its healthy!
I was given a note saying they were outta certain items but I don’t care I’m not picky. I am giving five stars because they didn’t leave me in the dark about a substitute they picked. They have excellent workers here.
I came into this store during what I’m assuming was the high school lunch time, there was two girls working at the time one was occupied doing what seemed to be a large order for another customer while the other one took on all of the high school students by herself and kept a smile on her face getting mine and all what seemed to be 20 kids orders! I was very impressed by how fast and professional everything was done and how well the two women managed to get everything done looking so stress free! I just had to get her name to do a review so she hopefully gets noticed for all her hard work! Thank you so much Jess for always having a smile and making the best pitas! I will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends and family!
Hey pita sub. Lol. So my review is for a worker. Jen. She made my first ever pita and its was amazing. And her high energy to care for what i was going too eat was too. Jen. Your amazing and I will always come for more.
Super Small portion for a large ceasar wrap. Paid 20 dollars for a large wrap water and chips. Way smaller then other pita pits.super disappointed.even the staff agree the owners portion sizes are too small
Horrible owner, great employees. Equipment in this restaurant failed years ago and they still won't spend the money to update it. Workers are still expected to work even with a failed AC. This could easily affect the quality of the toppings all sitting out. I'd give it one star bit I snuck in a second star just because of how great the employees are. The owner needs to walk into the Pita Pit by Costco and see how it should be run. (And if you own both, shame on you because that makes it worse)
Im so happy i found this place in Grimsby! Their rice bowls are really good! I went today for the first time and the lady provided excellent service! She was fast and nice. She asked me many times if i wanted other ingredients added to my bowl:)! It wasn’t the typical service you receive at other food locations. I will be definitely be going back
If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. Since I was hired, we were extremely short staffed, the manager would ask for your availability and totally disregard it. There was no calling in due to sickness because no one could or would take shifts which meant you were going in no matter what. At this location we were expected to close alone and get everything done by 9: 20 since after that we didn't get paid for it. When clocking in and out, it is written on a piece of paper which seems very unprofessional and sketchy. No employees at this location did their job either, everything was left for the closers to do no matter how much it was. The manager at this location is an extreme unprofessional child and should not be doing management when she acts as she does and can't keep supplies stocked up. The owner fails to pay you the correct amount and even didn't pay me for my last shift even though the manager came in that day when I was working. Overall do NOT recommend this place especially as a minimum wage job, all you're going to be doing is screwing yourself over!
Fantastic vibes and super attentive service. The meals were fresh and delicious. Will definitely recommend this place to friends. Fair rates and generous portions. Great job.
I love Pita Pit! Great pitas. Great customer service. Only issue tonight was their debit was down, so had to get cash at bank and come back.but these things happen!
Worse location every visited gone many times and terrible experience. Never have full ingredients now and before covid-19. Management needs to step up and deliver better serve.
This is the first time ordering from this location and will be the last time. I ordered three 9" pitas (2 steak, 1 chicken) we received 7". Ingredients in the first steak one was correct, the second steak pita had ingredients for the chicken pita and also were wrong (missing sauces and cheese). The third pita (chicken) had ingredients from the second steak pita. I understand mistakes happens and normally would of been okay. But not like this.
Food was ok. Place looked pretty dirty. The man who made our food was to busy looking out the window to put the right meat in the right wrap. Order was just a mess. After picking threw my wrap and changing out the meat. Then the food was ok. Not too impressed
Would’ve given half a star but wasn’t able to. Went here yesterday Sunday May 10th around 1pm and the guy behind the counter couldn’t have been any more rude if he had tried, huffing and rolling his eyes at us for asking a simple question about what meat was in a pita to acting like we ruined his life for showing up to make him work for his money when the entire place was dead. Also we couldn’t even finish our order because he cut us off while we were talking and gave us the total, will never go back to this location ever!
The prices are a little steep and they don't really give you great portions for the price. It's good food but a tad pricey. The staff is often grumpy and short with you. Even if the place is empty it feels like they're trying to rush you out of there as fast as possible.
