Pita Pit

Five stars for the one person working during a busy lunch hour, zero stars for whatever cheap manager decided to only pay one person during a busy lunch hour. Not coming here again, not worth the wait.

Edit: I just saw a guy leave after ordering and paying because of how long this is taking.

My experiences here are always great: variety of options, food is fresh, space is clean. I like that they heat the meat on the grill to order.

I recently visited Pita Pit and had the pleasure of being served by Anmol and her amazing co-workers. The service was impeccable, and the food was simply outstanding. I highly recommend this Pita Pit for a delicious and healthy meal!

Services are quite fast and staff will always welcome you with a heartfelt smile on their face. A guy who works there can make your pita in couple of minutes so if a person want fast services they can probably visit this store.

Food is the same as any other Pita Pit (As it should be) and the service is always great, my partner has allergies and they always accommodate!

Absolutely fantastic experience! It was my first time in a pita pit and was not sure on what to order. The staff was so helpful and patient with me ordering. The food was delicious. Overall I will definitely be coming back, highly recommended coming here if you are in the Dundas area.

Food quality is fine. But the speed and service is horrible. Nearly half an hour to get my pita. And it wasn't busy.

Last Friday I visited a store, I ordered a falafal but the service is not good also one guy who served a food he is not properly answer to me.

The person who prepared both mine and a friends pitas was cordial and prepared our orders in a timely manner. The ingredients were fresh and to our choosing. The smoothie that was ordered was fresh and delicious as well.

Very friendly staffs at this place. There’s one guy that works there and he is so nice, also the food is fresh and tasty. I’ll definitely comeback again!

Absolutely unacceptable experience. I ordered a small 12oz smoothie, and was given a smoothie this size. This did not look right to me, so I asked if this was in fact 12oz. They said yes. I said this does not look right and asked if this was a kids size, and they said there is no kid size, the only difference between the two is that the kids smoothie does not have yogurt. The sign when I ordered had listed 3 different sizes. I let it go and left since the employee I was speaking to clearly was not willing to resolve this. After finishing my smoothie I checked the bottom of my cup and it says 9oz. Not only did this employee give me less than what I paid for, they lied to me when I asked them about it! This is ridiculous!

Overall good, I always order a southwest chicken, and It tastes great. Although it is pretty pricey.
I think the store changes owners a few years ago and it has always felt less friendly, service hasn't been the same.
The quality of the pita making doesn't seem as good anymore, last time my pita was ripped and it was stuck to the wrapping paper.
It is still a good place to get food, just not at the same level as it was a few years ago.

(UPDATE. Jan 20 2023) I had a review of 5 stars previously. New management has taken over and just like a few other businesses in town, they have gone down the drain. They only keep one person on in the evenings. And its usually a new person or someone who is so slow, more business leaves then stays around waiting for the attendant to get to them. This use to be an amazing shop, its really unfortunate that it went down this road. Portion sizes have shrunk. Prices seem to have gone up. They are very stingy with ingredients. All round shame.

Good staff. Nice guy I even asked him to help me with something and he did. I highly recommend on staff alone.

Great food even better staff. The staff is phenomenal they are super friendly, helpful and speedy with your food. I always can count on this location to provide me with a quality pita and a smile.

They put no meat in my pita. After one or two bites I noticed there was no meat. The girl behind the counter was quite snippy and said “yea that’s you ordered” without even checking the grill to see if my meat was still on there. I would only recommend this spot if you’re a vegan because they won’t give you the meat that you’ve paid for!
