Pita Pit

I ordered a chicken shawarma close to their closing time and they gave me a wrap without any chicken. It’s too bad because I recently started ordering from this and liked it but I will never order from here again.

I went to get a salad made, and I paid for a large salad and got as much as a small. The service was super poor and next to nothing was on my salad even though I asked for almost all items… when she put a pinch of everything including lettuce I asked for a bit more bean sprouts and I got an eye roll. I will not be back due to paying 15.00 for a salad that as litterly a pinch of everything on it and it still being less amount then a small, when I use to not be able to open the lid with the old owners. I work in the plaza so I went here a lot, not sure if new owners are trailing like that or it’s just that young ladie but I’m sure many people have this issue as I know a few at my work place have! Awful customer service!

Slowest service ever and most dry and bland food you'll eat even with the sauces. Good thing was the amount of fresh veggies available that you don't typically get at a Subway or Mr.sub i.e. Sprouts.

Terrible. Pita is always filled with 80% lettuce and 20% meat. Tried this location a few weeks ago, thought maybe it was just an off day… today went again and same thing. Avoid this location

I come all the time to get the same thing every time and look forward to it every time. Today I came to order a pita and got caesar dressing. It tasted absolutely horrible and nothing like caesar dressing. If they are changing the sauces at their restaurant they should be informing customers it does not taste the same what so ever.

The service has been terrible lately.
They intentionally skip the steps like asking for sautéed mushrooms, peppers & onions so that they can cheap out on the toppings.
With the staff changes, they don’t even ask the customer for any toppings and it feels like they’re doing a huge favor to the customer by adding a topping.
I have been to Pita Pit in various locations but this has been the worst of all.
The staff is rude to the customers and they ignore them when they ask to add a topping.
It used to be my favorite place to grab a pita but now I would rather go to Whitby location than coming here.

Good pitas and the service was all nice. Amazing sauces and a great variety. No downside except the prices! Solid 4/5.

Looks like new owners took over and none of the original staff is there. Service and food quality have both gone way down.
Will never be back to this location since theyre so cheap and stingy with EVERYthing!
No longer a good Pita Pit location at all!

Favorite Pita Pit location in Durham!

The harmony/taunton location has absolutely gone down hill. Save yourself your money and do not go here. New owners/ all new staff. They barely cook the meat on the grill. The lady was shoving my veggies in the pita and the portions are so stingy now. My pita was still cold when I bit into it. The "grilled" veggies were hard still and not cooked. Absolutely do not come here.

Seriously the worst pita I've ever had. I'm sure the owner must tell them to be cheap with the toppings to save money. They didn't ask about veggies on the grill. Then they left them on for like 60 seconds so they weren't even cooked. I had to beg for enough of everything! I go to pita pit all the time and can't believe the difference at this location. It was dry because she wouldn't give me enough sauce. They put one TINY strip of cheese and said I have to pay extra for more. It was barely full. Lettuce was brown.just awful. I hope this location changes ownership soon.
