Pita Pit

I love getting pitas from here, and I decided to switch it up and try one of their rice bowls. The amount of food was really good and the chicken/ toppings were great. However the rice was so mushy and sticky at the bottom, I barely ate any of it. For the price it was upsetting that half my meal was wasted. If the rice had been better I would definitely order this again. For the future I’ll have to only stick to pitas.
Pita pit please get a better rice cooker!

This place never disappoints. Staff are friendly and efficient. Food is always tasty and well prepared. Location is clean and well run.

Worst food experience of my entire life. For $42 and 2 pitas, you could at least put dressing on the entire thing. I’m not a hamster.

By the far the worst pita pit place i have ever come across. It should take nearly 60 minutes to wait for a bowl. Please close this place down horrible employees and horribly ran. Extremely unsafe food as well no food safety

This location sucks. Go to the one on George Street. 1000x better. Staff are fast, ingredients are fresh, and they don't mess up your order.

Horrible staff. The amount of times I've paid for double meat and I have to watch them like a hawk or else they'll screw it up. Today, the incompetent staff tried to argue with me and refused to give me the extra meat I paid for. They always rip the wrap open making it impossible to eat tidily and spray the sauce so it goes all over their aprons then drips back onto my food. The value here is God awful, only reason I gave them another chance today was because it's low calorie but I won't be back

We went in for a pita on the way to the cottage. The gluten free pita was so stale it cracked in half when she tried to roll it and she tried to give it to me like that anyway. She then tossed it in a bowl and considered that to be acceptable. Will never go back poor quality and no customer service.

Good option for those looking for healthier alternatives for lunch. It was pretty busy when I went. Once the entire staff came back from break, the orders were done swiftly.

March 19,2022. Had to wait for quite a while, only one staff on a Saturday night. Ordered a vegan option and my pita was dragged through a very dirty prep station, both contaminated as well as just dirty. Server never changed gloves, even after dealing cash! Never asked if I wanted grilled veg, pita grill was so dirty I waited until I got home to heat. I think this is my last pita from this location. I love Pita Pit but honestly, it's time for HQ to take a look at this location.

Came through during the lunch period. Very clean, staff are friendly and things moved quickly, which is great when you want to be in and out.

Came in with my grand-daughter today, staff was very short and rude, Felt very un-welcomed and rushed. $20 for frozen yogurt. Could at-least be nice!

Horrible food. Sovlaki Pita comes with maybe 2 tablespoons of chicken chopped up so fine it might as well be minced. Didn't get tsziki, onions or dressing and was refused another spoon of feta. Husband's buffalo chicken was all breading. $27 for about $5 worth of food. Go to Extreme Pita for better value and taste. Pita Pit is a real pit.

Today we went to this location to grab two Flafal wraps small size, when the girl started making the wraps, firstly it could not properly open, the wrap was torn apart, but still she started putting veggies into it and then sauces, when she started wrapping it, it fell apart, all the veggies came out, she asked if its ok to give me the large size wrap instead of small, i said ok but i saw she took the veggies from the old wrap and put it into the large on, i asked her if i can get more veggies because obviously it was large wrap, but she refused to give me extra veggies and moreover that was not our fault that their steamer was not working, they could have told us before that they do not have small size wraps, i asked her for the refund she also refused to give me the refund. Today was horrible experience with this location, never going back to this location. I left the food over there and came back withoud getting a refund. I would like to get my refund as i do not want to deal with the lady working at that time

We took a halt at Peterborough while on our way to east. The place is easy to see once you there. Very clean and well staffed. Staff was courteous and prompt. Ordered a falafel wrap and a rice bowl. Toppings were really fresh, great sauce choices although the falafel itself was very dry.

Never get to enjoy a pita from here as they close so early, I use to grab a pita on my way home from work once a week but I can never make it in time before they close now. Very disappointing. I wish they would stay open till atleast 7 or 8 pm

Bad experience. New person was on I believe and they ripped the wrap/ took a very long time and it fell apart as they were making it. I asked if it was ok for them to make a new one, they were very rude about it and threw everything that was in it in a bowl and then threw it into a new wrap which was all a mess and nothing was even. Very rude staff, will not be going back to this location and use to go very often.

I’m so frustrated that I cannot get a pita after 6pm, it doesn’t make sense? 7pm is a much better time to stay open too, based on the dinner hour time frame. I work until 5: 30-6pm so it does not allow me to eat at you restaurant, and I’m sure that is a feeling for many people that enjoy your Pita’s and more. I understand that COVID has been challenging, but you need to consider, to stay open to 7pm. I’ve rated it low, because the new closing time does not make sense. The restaurant has great service, they offer gluten free pitas, and fresh ingredients. Just stay open to 7pm please.

Times change and this is why I have to review my review. One year ago I loved this place but over a few occasions I've had my order wrong. In one case I received a breakfast wrap instead of my usual southwest chicken. Yesterday I went in to revisit to order a small southwest chicken wrap with one spoonful of extra cheese and as it looks like one strip of bacon. No drink and No chips my small chicken wrap the size of a regular hotdog came to almost $13! If the owners are wondering why business is declining then maybe be more present and run the business like it should be running. Between this place and Freshii you get WAY MORE FOOD at Freshii than the Pits. Sorry guys looks like I won't be returning for the lack of food for the price. 2 sm wraps would equal to two medium pizzas for the same price. So 16 slices vs 2 small pitas hmmm let me think about NAH I'll take the pizzas!

This location has a few polite staff. However the owner has some arrogance to him. The last visit two of us get sick aftee eating at this location. Will not be back.

Very good service & friendly. They are following the rules of Covid 19, making me feel comfortable eating here.

I am blown away from the service and kindness from this pita pit location. I made a large order from skip the dishes which never showed up at the office and the staff at pita pit were so kind in trying to help me, unfortunately skip the dishes would not reimburse my order, so Stephanie did an amazing thing for me she gave us our order I was so blown away I hugged her, the kindness she showed me was unforgettable! The other staff members there made incredible pitas for us and at the end Stephanie handed me the order and through in some cookies to cheer us all up. Incredible staff and service.

Amazing staff! Our work order was never delivered by Skip The Dishes and the staff here still replaced the entire order and more! This was not a fault of Pita Pit's to begin with, yet they still did us a total solid! Thank you so much, everyone!

Our office placed quite a large order through Skip the Dishes which never actually got delivered to us (yet we were charged for it!). Never again will we do that! Pita Pit on Lansdowne went out of their way to rectify the situation (eventhough it wasn't their fault). The food was delicious as always and special thanks to Stephanie for going above and beyond to help us out. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.

Emily and brooke were excellent. This location is way better then the downtown location. They were very friendly and i will be going here over subway any day!

Service is always excellent at this location. Sometimes it takes a bit longer and we wait but the food is worth the wait. Have to say I am very, very disappointed with the change of the salad bowls. It is half the size of what it used to be and the same price. Talk about a rip off. I always get a salad there.every single week. I don't eat pitas so now I will be going elsewhere as it's not worth the money for the size of the salad. Disappointing as I went there once a week.

Service here was respectful courteous and plain good. The store is nicely designed.while there i had a strong will to become vegan again.

The pita was amazing and the owner was a very handsome man. I'd say classically handsome, for sure. The kind of handsome that you'd expect out of a Ryan Gosling movie. A very classy kind of good-looking that makes you wonder if you really are in a movie; it's almost surreal. Would recommend to anyone.

Solid option for simple food that's reasonably priced and far better for you than most fast food fare

Had an order mix up via skipthedishes, called, and everything was handled so well. Food was excellent, also!

The products are always fresh, staff are friendly and a great healthy alternative to the usual fast food places. Also my work at Kawarthachrysler had ordered some lunch take outs for the staff and they were quick to respond at the last minute and still delivered tip notched. Much appreciated!

They have good wraps tbh. Most of their menu is meat based but they had 1 vegetarian dish I tried and it was ok. Its definitely healthier than eating pizza hut or French fries yea?

I have always had great experiences eating at pita pit, however this time my pita was almost entirely flavourless (despite being what i always order). The greens were also starting to turn, i noticed this when in my mouth as well as beforehand when i noticed several very slimy leaves at the top of the container.a bit pricey, however usually worth it.
