Best Greek food I’ve ever had in my life, hands down. When I lived in pembroke I ate here all the time, especially when I was pregnant (biggest pregnancy craving was their pork souvlaki). The quality of “Greek” food has gone down substantially in the past few years here in Ottawa and multiple times I’ve literally just driven all the way to pembroke just for their amazing and authentic food. Not to mention the staff are super friendly and the food quality and portion sizes are soooo worth every cent. (The drinks pictured were not from pita shack)

Drove from Montreal Otw to Deep River. Read how good the food and serve ice was so went out of our way to get there. Arrived 10 minutes before closing. Door locked. Looked in and they signalled, “closed”. Was starving. Just wanted two wraps to go.
There were still old people sipping coffee in there. They totally could have served us before 8pm. Boooooo.
If you say you close at 8pm. Close at 8pm.

Not much to see but man there's a ton of meat in these pitas! Best pita ever ordered! Highly recommended!

Just picked up lunch. I knew we were in for a good meal as soon as we walked in. 3 friendly smiles and the place smelled divine. My bf got the 50/50 gyro and I got a shack special salad. Fantastic food. The chicken was so juicy and flavourful and the beef was shaved thin but not dry at all. First time coming here but I will be back. Thank you to the crew today. Excellent service.

I've been to Pita Shack for years & it's always delicious & fresh! Always full with their generous gyro sizes. Missed it so much when I was living in Ottawa.

Great food! Had a lunchbox which was keto and gluten free. Big portions. Great value for money. Lots of gyros, burgers, fries and many other options to choose from.

My husband and I came in from out of town and decided to eat here, and I must say this was the best wraps we’ve had in Canada and we’re from Toronto. Staff was very friendly and helpful and we will 100% make the trip back.

This is one of our favourite places to go! Food is always incredible and staff is always such a pleasure to chat with. Reasonably priced for such big portions and tasty food.

We came in from out of town as we are looking at homes up here and we stopped in for a quick bite. What can I say… I had the best pita I’ve ever had in my life. Honestly I love Mediterranean food and where I’m from we have several options that are very good. The pita was so delicious and the tzatziki was incredible. A taste explosion for sure. My son had a burger and fries and he loved his burger and his fries were perfect. I can’t wait to find a home and move up here so I can become a regular. Im dying for another pita already! Thank you guys! Don’t stop being you.

Every time we go visit my husbands family, we make a point to go here multiple times. The food is so good!

This is the first 5 star rating I have given in a long time, and I think the first in Petawawa! The Pita Shack has been consistent again and again when I visit in person or order delivery. They have delivered quality food, on time, every time, and it has all the qualities of a restaurant you'd want to be regulars at. I will say I have heard people say the location doesn't have much curb appeal but honestly, who cares. The Pita Shack rings reminiscent of a "meal like grandma used to make. ” The servings are incredibly generous, the service is friendly, I have been offered taste tests of things I haven’t had before when I was in the restaurant, and more importantly, every time I have ordered from them I felt like they viewed me as “one of the regulars” too. The feta fries are hands down the best fries I have ever had, and they are just as good and crispy (somehow? !) when ordered for delivery and the Shack Platter can't be beat. The Pita Shack values their customers and you won’t regret being loyal customers here.

Holy Smokes! The Pita Shack puts 95% of all Shawarma joints in Bramptom to shame. Moreover most places only have one spit going, this place has three! It's the best secret Pembroke has to offer. Next trip, I try the Souvlaki!

I haven't been here in many years. My experience was an excellent one. The food was just as I remembered, good, filling, and flavor like no other.the owner is the same as years before as well. Funny and very attentive to what we liked.

If you're in the mood for some delicious Mediterranean food, then Pita Shack is the place to go! This family business offers amazing customer service and a friendly atmosphere. The food is freshly made daily and homemade from scratch, which is always a plus. The quantity of food is huge, and the falafel is out of this world! But the hummus and tzatziki.oh man, it's off the charts!

One of the best things about Pita Shack is that you don't have to pick from the menu - they'll make bowls and wraps to your liking. Sofie, is an absolute sweetheart who makes food with love. If you're a fan of long drives, then it's worth making the trip to Pita Shack. It's a must-try spot if you love Mediterranean food. I highly recommend this place!

Visited fairly late in the snow, was greeted with smiling faces and warm hospitality. Was the only customer and all the workers were very kind! Very warm and inviting. Upsold on the potatos and was very suprised! Massive pieces perfectly seasoned with large portions. They fall apart with only a plastic fork and have a amazing taste. The best you"ll find in the area. The sauce is also an amazing add on for all parts of the order. Also ordered a wrap which was devoured and called "the best yet". Will be returning!

Back in the Valley for a few days to visit family and decided to try Pita Shack for lunch. Their food quality was a greatly pleasant surprise, and I'm saying this coming from downtown Montreal (the restaurant capital of Canada)! Their feta fries are unreal - perfectly crunchy and salted; Chicken pita was piled high with veggies and had lots of hummus with their spicy house mayo which was perfect; and greek salad was on point as well. I wish I had a Pita Shack near my place in Montreal instead of the greasy Greek options and boring chains (like Pita Pit) that I unfortunately only have access to. I will certainly be back!
