We are so thankful we met Sean and Melissa at Pitlane automotive.

As many of you know it is very comforting to have an automotive shop that you know will be fair, honest and have someone whom you can really trust.

After three years in Goderich, it was sheer luck to have a chance encounter with Pitlane.

We would highly recommend Pitlane to anyone requiring service on any type of vehicle.

An interesting over the phone experience.

Called in to get an inquiry on - four pads and rotors + labour.

I was told over the phone that they normally don’t do that without looking at the vehicle.

I proceeded to let them know that the vehicle does not need anything else and that I’m only looking for basic pricing on parts and labour.

I was then told that the estimate would be about 1600-1700 which is about 400-500 more than what an OEM dealer would charge me.

My only guess is that the person over the phone felt like I was wasting their time and or believed they could get more money out of me, so they decided to not even look at it and just threw out a ballpark figure.

An honest mechanic can give you, at the bare minimum the cost of parts and hourly.
A dishonest mechanic wont say anything till your car is in the shop.

Honestly a super disappointing experience considering they have amazing reviews.

Didn’t feel like I was even given the time of day.

Most honest mechanic crew ever. Lots of laughs, it's a fun gang, but when it came down to reality the real info to keep the car or not, I got a real honest opinion. My dealer, not so much. 100% recommended these guys. Truly honest, no BS. Oh, and they're fun, and LOCAL.

This is by far the BEST automotive repair facility in Goderich.
They went way beyond my expectations.

10 stars! Melissa and Sean are Great people and business. Very personable and truly honest. Their main goal is to make sure your vehicle is repaired properly. Their procedure of inspection, then explanation and repairs to the immediate issues and telling you in writing what else will need attention in the future is how they roll. They do not repair more than necessary. They aren't looking to just make money from the customer. They truly just want the customer to have a safe & mechanically fit vehicle. Considering what I thought was needed in repairs and what was actually needed saved me a lot of money. Other shops would of just done what I said and made lots of money. Pitlane Automotive didn't gouge me as they very well could of and I wouldn't of given it a second thought. This business and owners gained my respect 10 fold. I 100% recommend Pitlane Automotive for everyone who needs vehicle repairs. They also did a little extra courtesy work I noticed once I was home. They didn't even mention it and at no charge! Who does that today? Just an Awesome experience. I'm always getting my vehicle serviced at Pitlane Automotive from now on. I've also made a friendship

Recently, my wife and I were traveling to Goderich to spend a few days in our RV camping. On the way my truck lost power and we managed to limp to our campsite. I was panicked on figuring out how to return home safely on time. I researched local Automotive shops and was lucky to find Pit Lane as a standout with both great reviews, and the photos of their facility looked tidy. I called early Monday and explained my situation. They were kind enough to accommodate me on short notice. I liked that I received updates and repair quotes by text, Sean and his team were professional, courteous and had me down the road faster than I could have imagined!
