The review is a tribute to the concierge service at Pivot. I do not know the names of all of the staff but in general, they are very friendly and accommodating. One concierge specifically, Kenny, has been very hospitable, engaging and reliable. I appreciate Kenny's effort in taking care of the residents.

I have had great experience living in this building so far. I am also very pleased with the staff at the front desk, especially Kenny. He is very personable with a great personality and tries his best to accommodate us and make our experience in this building more pleasant. Kenny always greets us with a smile and makes sure to acknowledge us every time we walk by.

Pivot is a beautiful and excited location to call home. The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming, and will always extend their support to resident with anything we may need. Personally, Kenny, the concierge, has always shown great efforts to address anything I may have and will go above and beyond to ensure we’re supported. Such amazing staff and service is definitely an asset to have at the pivot!

My children always enjoy Kenny's big smile and warm greetings. Although the building goes through ups and downs, as all buildings do, the Pivot team is always on top of things and ensures residents are taken care of. Such a stellar experience!

Clean Apartment building & Friendly staff.

Update: so much for the luxury apartment; there have been so many issues since last year; there was no heating for more than the month the previous year, then two giant holes were made inside the apartment to avoid future failure in the heating system (added to the beauty), took more than two months to repair that and now another leak which caused all the corridors to look like this in the picture

Pictures tell you the truth. This is what will happen when you choose to live here. Dirty hallways, spraying fire sprinkler pipes in your room, careless plumbers and contractors hired by the rental company, flooded floors and etc. These make your home an unliveable construction site for more than three months, and the rental company refused to compensate us tenants for the mishaps caused by their poor decisions.
Still, we appreciate the help and support from Amy and the maintenance team during this hard time. I believe they did the best they can do to maintain the running of the apartments, and this means a lot in this difficult time.

Nice stuff and very friendly. If you can afford the high cost, this is the best choice in this area. They fix the problem very fast and the move in move out process is easy and smooth. The best experience living in Canada.

Update: maintenance was good. Tedros quickly fixed the dishwasher drain issue and also cleaned up the work surface.

One month in already so far so good. Special thanks to Lia and Cecilia, their team ensured my moving process as smooth as possible.

Loved this place in the begining but like the rest of the newish buildings in Toronto they are not being built properly, built way too fast and are being cheap with corners cut everywhere. Seems like a nightmare, dishwasher falling apart, heat non existent every two months, pipes sound like their going to burst again, HVAC problems every month, kids screaming and the parents are ignorant not to take in consideration they are in a apartment building! Beware to that rent doesn’t go up with the regulated 3 percent, it will go up as much as you’re willing to pay meaning it will go up however much they raise it! They tried to raise rent $200 last year and this building isn’t even worth what they’re renting it out now. There’s really no difference between a regular apartment building and pivot other than maybe in suite laundry which you pay for/dishwasher. Maintenance are pretty good and front desk is nice but lack of knowledge of some things since the turn over is rlly high.

It’s very unfortunate that I have to come back and change my 5-star review from when we moved in on May 2022 to a 1-Star review after a few months.

Our experience has changed drastically after just a few months, starting with a severe flood incident on October 2022 followed by mechanical ductwork/ HVAC issues in the building. The building has turned into a construction site which has made our experience a HORRIBLE one for about three months now. We have ZERO comfort with all the dirt, dust, and noise as well as constant entrances (by contractors) that residents are expected to accommodate. Doesn’t matter if you are in a middle of a meeting or if you have a baby, someone with construction boots will come in to check on your unit!

No need to mention that we spent our Holidays in an apartment that does not have a reliable heating, has large openings in the interior partitions, and also torn-off wallpapers, drywalls, and carpets in the corridors! I do know there are residents who have had an even worse experience! As of now, we have no clue when to expect the completion of this poorly managed construction work.

I think it’s very important that you know what to expect when you are considering leasing an apartment for a 3k+ monthly payment!

There are so many other issues with the building including dirty parking with leaking pipes (for which you will be paying $200/ month, not included in your rent) and a fob reader in the main entrance which has been TAPED for more than 2 months now!

I originally published a 5 star review in July 2021, when we first moved in. I now have to come back and turn this into a 1 star review.

This building has had so many problems that our experience living here has turned from wonderful to dreadful. Just to name a few, loss of heat just when temperature dropped and major flooding episodes in the building in October.

In fact, we currently live on a construction site: our apartment has seen non stop repair and remediation work to both repair flood damage and plumbing. Our drywall has been cut out and it took weeks to be replaced and repaired, leaving us breathing plasterboard dust. Half the living room floor has been removed and has been covered in tuck tape and our bathroom ceiling also removed and covered in tape. Imagine showering under a drywall tape for almost two month! I know other tenants who had to go through much worse and perhaps that explains why there's such a high turnover rate in this building.

Yup, it has been almost two month since the repair work started and it's still not finished. There has been minimal communication and ZERO compensation. We had to wait to be contacted on progress and had to spend so much time chasing after management for answers. Even then, it has been more than a month since the last stage of remediation and we have absolutely no idea when we can expect full completion of the work. That's months of our lives paying rent for a miserable living experience. I wish there were an option to give a NEGATIVE STAR. We will celebrate Christmas and New Year's not in an apartment but on a construction site. Oh and the cherry on top, parking garage's got so many leaking pipes, you most likely will get rust spots on your car, good luck with that.

There are always problems in any building, but the management’s approach toward how they manage the situation matters the most, and also how they make it up for the tenants.

I have previously commented about the problems, and they heard me!
Management tries it best to tackle the problems.

Keep up and hope we don’t see more issues.

I have been living at Pivot for more than a year, and I am still delighted with the Management, Concierge, Maintenance and Cleaning teams.
All the issues that I found were promptly addressed. Except those that were out of the Pivot team's hand, such as the dependency of a third party to fix doors/gates and concrete slabs from the terrace.
The views, the location and staff from Pivot are a plus of living here.

I have been living here for a while and couldn't be happier with my choice. Great location that offers convenient access to the subway, food courts, gym, grocery stores, and more! The management staff is also very kind and perfectly perform their responsibilities. I would like to thank my leasing agent Aytan. She is very nice and a professional in her field.

Moved into Pivot a couple of months back and this being my first place of stay in Canada I can say that my stay here has been pleasant, Jyotsna at the concierge is quiet helpful and maintenance requests are dealt with prompt.

About to move in the building and I can already tell that it is worth it. The amenities are so spacious and the staff is extremely nice.

After spend many weeks searching for our new home in Toronto. Finally we found the perfect place. Cecilia Tran, our leasing agent, is friendly and done beyond our expectation. She showed us around the suite and all of the amenities in the building. She even show us the concourse which connect to Young Sheppard Center so we can have some shopping or transit to subway without going out of the building in the freezing winter. All of leasing process was fast and we can move in to our new home within 1 week. I had got the locker, apartment application, and hydro setup done in a couple day after we made decision to rent here. Cecilia work very hard to make sure that everything is set for us and she also promptly respond with every questions we have. The apartment and appliances are very good. We are lucky that we found this apartment and nice leasing agent. Highly recommend!

We visited this apartment in last December. It's a very nice apartment. The apartment is almost brand new, with lots of nice facilities. There were several rooms that have a very nice view and good price at the time we went.

Cecilia Tran was the advisor and she is very nice and patient. Her professionality is unimpeachable. We viewed different floors multiple times, she was there accompanying us, introduce the apartments, answer our questions, and leave us a comfortable private space to tour and discuss.

Overall a very nice experience and a good apartment!

Before finding pivot, we were visiting a lot of building but to be honest one of the most important reasons we chose pivot was Cecilia and her awesome attitude of customer service, she is now our benchmark of customer service and truly she is far above the rest.in general the management of this building has been very successful in my opinion, we even introduced it to our friends and they move in to pivot.

It’s a new building with a great location. I recently moved to this apartment, and I would like to thank Cecilia Tran for her assistance and responsibility. Management does not get back to you or seem to be around to resolve any issues. Decent amenities, but the dog area and barbecues are shut down half the year. Yes the building is new but the customer service has been terrible for the prices we are paying.

Pivot apartments is a brand new purpose built rental property where tenants are treated as valued customers. The whole process has been pleasant and enjoyable. Lia is very likeable, professional, and knowledgeable. The apartment is new, hence it's very clean and decent. Just like many apartments out there, it offers many good amenities. I was impressed with the building overall but its eventually Lia's customer service that blew me away and thus I decided to apply my application with Pivot.

The Pivot Apartments has top-notch facility and a very responsive management team that cares about the well beings of its residents. I also truly enjoyed my leasing experience with Cecilia, she walked us patiently through each step of the leasing process. Most importantly, she went above and beyond to coordinate our moves, which had met with scheduling issues due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions placed by the Ontario government a few months back. I am new to Toronto and didnt know anything about the process and it was quite different than the other provinces. But my lease manager Nahar helped me from 0 to 10 every single things.

1. Super friendly staff.
They have the best team! Rhapsody is really doing a great job in the industry! The leasing manager, Nahar, is very considerate and responds to emails and phone calls quickly. We actually decided to switch units one week before the move-in date, and Nahar quickly accommodated our needs.
The concierge team is professional and welcoming! They are doing their best to meet our needs.
Also, the maintenance team, cleaning team and etc are doing a great job to keep the building safe, clean, and organized!

2. Very convenient location.
Very easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, public transportations, and highways.

3. Up-to-Date household appliances.e. G.fridge, washer and dryer, HVAC, dishwasher, and etc. We like the kitchen ventilator the most because it is efficient and easy to clean!

4. Cozy and spacious amenities.e. G.spacious gym, terrace, dog shower, mini-theater, conference room, BBQ area, and the list goes on and go.

This is a lovely new rental building in the heart of North York. The location is beyond convenient, with a grocery store and subway access connected directly to the building. I am so happy I stumbled upon this property when looking for a place to live. The property itself offers amazing views of the city and sunset. The building has many great amenities and everything is very modern. When showing interest in the property, I was lucky to have Nahar as my leasing manager. He was very kind and helped me find something that fits all my needs. What I appreciated most is how respectful and professional he was and the fact that I was treated like a responsible adult (I am a student so people don't tend to take me very seriously). The rest of the staff are also very kind and helpful. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my choice.

I recently sold my house and was looking for a place to move. I feel lucky with my timing to have found this building because it's very clean and newly built. The staff members were very friendly and efficient, so the whole process of starting the rental application and setting up moving arrangements went smoothly. Specifically, Nahar was very kind and helpful while we were figuring things out. Because of COVID-19, he personally walked us through the unit virtually and was always available to answer any questions I had along the way (I had a tonne! Haha.). He definitely went beyond the call of duty to accommodate us and make us feel welcome.

Outstanding Customer Service
Since our first contact with Pivot, all the staff members have provided us with outstanding customer service, but we would like to express our deep gratitude to Cecilia Tran, our leasing consultant, for her exceptional work. Cecilia simply went above and beyond everything we could expect. Since our first contact, she demonstrated professionalism, knowledge, patience while being friendly, kind, and compassionate to our needs. She was always available to promptly answer our emails (from early in the morning to very late at night!).
Due to the COVID pandemic restrictions, we could not physically visit the apartment before moving in. We were afraid of renting without visiting the place, but Cecilia answered all our questions, recorded several videos from the apartment, garage, etc. Thanks to her, we felt confident and safe to move. Cecilia also sent pictures of the unit views, which filled our hearts with joy in a moment that we were not able to visit our new home due to the pandemic restrictions. She was attentive to all details related to the moving process, and even weeks after moving in, she was still in touch, certifying that we were well settled.
We are also thankful to the concierge team. They are efficient, helpful, and very friendly, always sharing a smile and great attitude. The cleaning team also does a fantastic job. We have never moved to an apartment that was so clean! Moreover, the building is always clean and smells a unique smooth fragrance that reminds us of a 5-star hotel.
Our big thanks to the maintenance team. At the very beginning, we had some issues with the heat pump, and they did their best to have it fixed ASAP. As described in another review, hot water seems to be an issue in new buildings. Since we moved, it has significantly improved and is no longer a major issue. The management team has been regularly checking on us, confirming if everything is fine.

Perfect Location
Directly connected to Yonge Sheppard centre (and soon to TTC), Pivot is less than 5-min walking from grocery shops, drugstore, Canada Post, food court, etc, without having to go outside. In the neighbourhood, there are several options of restaurants. The building is also close to the Bayview Village Mall (5 min driving). At the same time, the apartment is quiet, and the neighbourhood has a lot of green spaces.
We are in love with our apartment’s view; every day, there is a different breathtaking sunset. Thanks to the large glass windows, the apartment is very bright during the day, maintaining warmth and cozy. During the night, it is possible to stargaze and enjoy the moonlight from our bedroom.

Modern
We loved the high-end washroom tiles, stone countertops, and lighting. Our unit came with Alexa, Ecobee and appliances connected to the internet. We can control the room temperature with voice command or with our phone. Pivot has a mobile app that connects us to the concierge, maintenance team, and provides access to the appliance manuals. Also, it notifies us about parcel deliveries, and you can use it to book the dock and the elevator for moving stuff. It is extremely convenient.

It has been 2 months since we moved, and every day we feel more pleased to live here. We highly recommend Pivot apartments.

A brand new apartment with amazing amenities, centralized location, and great staff! I would wish to thank Cecilia Tran who has been the best leasing staff that I have encountered. She was extremely proactive in answering any questions that I might have, and was extremely efficient in handling the move in procedure. In addition, she would also periodically check in on me even after I have moved in to the building to ensure that I have everything I need to call this place a home. Despite the existing COVID restriction, Cecilia would complement the leasing process with a virtual tour and send photos of the apartment for my personal reference. She has also been extremely transparent in the entire process and has always ensured that my moving process was as smooth as possible. Don’t even know where to start. Incredible staff, brand new building with amazing amenities. Never experienced customer service at this level and I’ve worked in the high end restaurant business. The leasing process was very quick and easy. Parking is very convenient as well as access to Sheppard Centre. Would definitely recommend this building to anyone looking for a home!

We had an amazing experience moving to Pivot. Nahar was really quick and helpful in every step and made sure we get all the comfort during this pandemic time. Concierge is readily available 24X7. Pivot management knows how to engage their residents and organizes small virtual events like Canvas Painting, Flower decoration etc.on a timely basis. I would highly recommend Pivot.

The best apartment that I have lived，Naharmangat is the guy who help me for rent the conso，he help me for the whole process rent the condo，highly recommend to rent a condo here.

Maintenance: Requested two maintenance so far for minor things, quick reply within an hour and solve issue quickly.

Concierge: Always friendly and bring positive vibe, pick up phone quickly. Also help with coordinating deliveries/ trucks in the loading area.

Sound Proof: Barely heard anything from my neighbor and upstairs unless they wear high heels. Decent job. Note that there is some noise from Yonge ST as expected.

Leasing Office: Lia, Cecilia, Yohan are super nice and helpful.

AC, Hot Water, Heat, Appliance are working well too. Lot's of foods, grocery, shopping nearby. Overall expensive but worth the money.

While casually surfing the internet in December, 2020, I came across an ad for Pivot apartments at Yonge & Sheppard. My husband and I had been considering giving up gardening and shoveling snow at our house north of the city, but that was to take place in a few years time.

After spending time reading up on the great amenities and looking at the different floor plans, I was a bit anxious to tell him about Pivot. After all, it was a rental apartment, and our plan was to sell our house and purchase a condo in our then hometown north of the city. I thought that if we rented, we could sell our house and use some of the proceeds to help our adult kids in getting rid of some of their debts. I also thought that moving to Yonge & Sheppard would be easier for our grandchildren to visit when they travel on the subway.

I anxiously approached my husband and shared my thoughts with him. I showed him the floor plans and the different amenities. “Think of it! ”, I remember telling him. “No more shovellimg snow! No more spending so much time in the garden. ” He could hear the excitement in my voice. Sold! He bought my idea of putting up our house for sale and renting an apartment at Pivot.

We immediately contacted Pivot and soon after, received a call from Cecilia. Well, anyone who has had the privilege of meeting her would agree that she is certainly a pleasant person to deal with. Cecilia made our experience so enjoyable, from the time she contacted us to even after we moved in. We were so impressed by her professionalism and her timely manner in returning our calls. She was so attentive to our needs and was always helpful in sending us photos, giving us virtual tours, taking measurements and anything else we requested, all this because of the covid restrictions in not being able to visit in person.

It's now been 2 months since we've moved in, and we are so pleased with everything in this building. We haven't been able to use the amenities yet because of the covid restrictions. Could you imagine when these open up? It's going to be awesome!

We must commend the management team, the concierge team and the maintenance team for the excellent work they continue to do in ensuring that tenants are well taken care of. Everything is always so clean, even the garbage room on the ground floor where we take our large bags of garbage or throw out our boxes. The entire staff makes us feel so proud and happy to be here.

Highly recommend this new apartment complex. Lia and Nahar are very accomodative. This is the main reason you will love the place other than it is very accessible (literally downstairs) with all basic necessities, including a grocery, pharmacy, and subway system. I received a call from the leasing manager Yohan a day after our move-in. Everyone is making sure we are settling well. The concierge are very friendly. If you need anything or have any question - Danny, Sandra, and Shawna are there to answer. It's walking distance to government offices (ServiceCanada and ServiceOntario). There are 3 car rental offices and a lot of places you can go to! You will not regret moving in and being part of the Pivot family!

Just moved to ON from BC about a week ago and moving without being physically present was a challenge, but Nahar made it as easy as possible. Very happy with PIVOT and their staff!

Moved recently during the pandemic from US, over all leasing and moving experience was great, was able to sign the lease over the weekend on phone and move on Monday, and Pivot team even made sure my 14 day quarantine was as smooth as possible. Also everything was as promised!

Our experience at PIVOT is amazing. Our leasing consultant Cecilia deserves a 5-Gold Stars rating for her excellent service. She won our trust the moment she called us and met her in person before the second lockdown (with masks on) to view the gorgeously decorated show rooms and the lovely brand new apartments with a good view. Throughout the entire process, we were (and still are) absolutely impressed by her professionalism, her friendly and warm personality, her wonderful advice, kindness and compassion that she showed us. She gave us plenty of time to check out every square inch of the units and patiently answered all our questions and helped us with the rental process step-by-step. She even brought coffee up to the suite for us. Despite her busy schedule, she called and emailed us promptly every day and right away, making sure all were done accordingly and to our expectations of a good, safe, comfortable, clean and quiet home that we wanted. The process of packing up and moving was stressful for us so she made sure that our move in was smooth and efficient. She called and emailed to follow up after we have moved in. We were absolutely thrilled to find delicious snacks and drinks inside our brand new stainless steel fridge and tote bag of wonderful gifts. We always get friendly greetings when we pass by the concierge and the cleaners. Big thanks to the management team, maintenance crew, and concierges for their excellent prompt services and the VIP treatment of us are a breath of fresh air and a total difference from all the homes that we had lived in.

I just moved to Canada and have been living at the Pivot Apartment for over couple of weeks now. Its been nothing but amazing so far. The entire move in process was handled professionally with a personal touch by 'Lia Charette'. She is awesome, very prompt and helpful with immediate response for all the needs. We are under 14 day Quarantine and the staff brought everything to the doorstep and were very understanding. Apartments are brand new with modern appliances. They got some excellent move in deals.
