Well run clinic. Went to see Luca for physio after injuring both wrists in a fall. He was professional, courteous and took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly. After only a few visits, I'm very happy with the results.

I have visited Pivot for massage as well as physiotherapy. Derick, Falcon, Maya are a great team of professionals. However, I did not have a good experience with Jennifer Costa for massage.

UPDATE: The email I had sent on July 10th was responded to only after this review went up on July 20th.
The owner commented on Yelp that both the Dr and Physio had it in their notes for a follow up yet this was the first time I was NOT directed to set up an appointment.
I gave you the gift of a review. Everyone can have a bad day yet I was directed NOT to follow-up.
The email is prompting me to set an appointment to get the answer about the volunteered guess of arthritis. Why would I do that? Especially now.

INITIAL REVIEW
I had been to Pivot in the past with no issue. This time, I went for a knee issue.
The Dr I met with mentioned arthritis "because I was around that age" or something along those lines. This was a flip line that could do damage when someone is potentially looking at a mobility issue.

In my experience, he had completely disregarded me. While he sent me for an x-ray, he told me not to follow up with him. Nor did any report given to my GP include the ruling out of arthritis. In their defense, the x-ray technician would not rule out. They would only report what they found.

The physio given made my knee more painful, so here we are 3 months out, and my chiro is helping me still as well as creating my own routine.

My follow-up email asking for the ruling out of arthritis has yet to be answered.

I’ve been a client here for over 5 years. Highly recommend this clinic for all your physio, massage and wellness needs. Ryan and Maya are both wonderful physiotherapist.

I came to see Sam with a very painful lower strain back a few weeks ago. Sam assessed and treated my injury with expertise and kindness. He explained what happened and what I need to do to strengthen my back to avoid re-injury. I am so pleased with my progress and would not hesitate to recommend Sam to anyone needing an excellent physiotherapist.

I had the pleasure of working with Sam Yentin to address my rotator cuff issue. Sam helped me understand what was happening and his treatment plan was simple to follow and effective. My recovery was much faster than expected. I consider him my “go to” now for any issues that come up.

I had an initial assessment on my right knee by a sports medicine physician and it was determined that I needed some physio.

My physiotherapist at Pivot was Sam Yentin. He listened, provided a game plan and progressed my rehab at the perfect rate.

After 3 weeks my knee is back to 100%. My knee and supporting areas are now strong enough to take on all of the activities I enjoy.

Pivot Dancer has provided me the opportunity to improve my strength and flexibility outside my dance classes. The classes that Pivot Dancer provides allow me to improve and have fun all at the same time!

This past fall I decided to treat a months long pain in my left elbow which was most likely caused by too much golf. I went to Pivot Sport Medicine and was seen by Sam Yentin. Sam quickly and professionally diagnosed the problem and very patiently explained what had happened and how to treat it. I assumed that whatever had happened would resolve with rest. I saw Sam weekly, then bi-weekly, for a period of 2-3 months and with the treatment and prescribed exercises my elbow is now 100% pain free. I'd absolutely recommend Pivot and especially Sam.

Very happy with Sam Yentin's therapy for my tennis elbow. After a couple of longer initial sessions we had a number of follow-ups to track progress and adjust exercise load. Sam listened well and processed my comments into therapy. He is calm and professional and a pleasure to be treated by. I also really liked the availability on Saturdays! Highly recommended!

I went to Pivot after I sustained a shoulder injury (dislocation and fracture) and I couldn't be happier with the service. My therapist Sam Yentin was fantastic and took really good care of me. He tailored a physio and workout plan for me that helped me get my shoulder strength and range of motion back to a place better than I even expected. For any future physio needs, I'll definitely be going back to Pivot and Sam!

I've been seeing Sam Yentin for a pinched nerve / potential herniated disk issue for about 6 weeks now. Sam was really wonderful - not only has my injury healed really quite quickly, which I assume means he knows what he is doing (!) but even more importantly, he is really wonderful with people. His communication is calm and confident which really reassures you about your recovery. He is empathetic and kind and also knows when to use quiet humour to put you at ease. I've thoroughly enjoyed working with Sam.

Sam Yentin is just awesome as he's helped me through multiple different and separate injuries.
Not only does he help me in our sessions, but he takes an interest in following up with me and making sure that I'm making progress.

He works with equipment you already have at home as well as takes into consideration activities that are meaningful to the client. Sam is among the top physios around. He fixed my knee and shoulder. With a background as a physical trainer and a sports therapist he’s a veritable triple threat who creates custom programs for his patients. He’s also a great listener and he obviously cares a great deal about his patients and his craft. Highly recommended.
